Didn't even know this existed, i will definetly start using it. -
In my opinion it is better to be assertive than angry. When people get angry they lose sight of truth and make mistakes.

Was walking around the parking lot at work picking up carts and i try to meditate everywhere i go so i was naturally i a relaxed state with my mind clear going about my buisiness. -However, soon my third eye began to slightly vibrate (this has happened before so i didn't pay much attention). -But as i continued to talk around the parking lot the vibrations kept getting more and more intense and really started to bother me and make me uncomfortable. -I first tried meditating on my lower Chakras which didn't help, then i tried using EFT which helped a little bit. -However, i finally just gave reiki too my forehead which calmed down the vibrations and and they eventually dissipated. -I'm not sure why m third eye decided to go crazy but i would like anyone who has experience in this to give me feedback. -At first i thought might be over-stimulating one chakra but i wasn't paying attention to any part of my body in particular. This happened spontaneosly. -Advice is welcome.

I thought it was particularly interesting what he said about the small microcosmic orbit meditation and also about not practicing multiple Chi gong systems one after another. -I enjoyed this interview, thanks Sean.

I think i'm referring to the attunements, the Reiki Teacher i went to called it a "Reiki Blessing" and never really explained what they were for so it has always been a bit confusing. -I felt her writing some kind of symbols on my hand with her energy and she walked around me with incense a couple of times. -Then i felt a slight leaking of energy come from my crown down to my eye.

Just started reading this book on Chi Kung and i found that the very exercises are very helpful and the standing positions and the cirriculum the author sets before you make practicing easy. -I'm taking the authors recomendation and following the time-table he sets for practice. Was wondering if anyone else practiced Zhan Zhuang style and what has been their experiences with it? -Also i'd appreciate anyone with knowledge on the author and quality of this book. Thanks Here's the link: http://www.amazon.com/Way-Energy-Mastering-Internal-Strength/dp/0671736450/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1273703268&sr=8-1

I've never understood what the Reiki Blessing was for. Do you need the blessing to practice Reiki?

This has always been an area of interest for me. Thanks for the post. I've heard great things about B.K.. Now i'll definetly get a copy of his book. -
The name of the game is perseverance, if you give up and kill yourself, from what i've heard you'll be right back on earth again, with worse karma than before. Improve the life you have right now. -Also from what you've said it couldn't hurt to gain some weight, it sounds like if a guy punched you all your bones would break. Get a bit of meat on you, workout, and eat a balanced diet. -Also what Yuen Biao said, practice some ZZ everyday.

It's been my experience that as you grow in energy you will naturaly become more insightful. Meditation is a simple exercise for developing insight.

Would you describe Gift of the Tao as a powerful system or as one for general health?

I found this particularly interesting excerpt in the book A Complete Guide to Chi-Gung by Daniel Reid and thought i would share it with the forum. Enjoy "Certain hours of the day are regarded as being more beneficial than others to Chi-Gung practice. The hours from midnight until noon are designated as the Yang time of day, while from noon until midnight Yin prevails. In the Chineses duodecimal system of marking time, the hourse from eleven p.m. until one a.m. are regarded as the best times for internal energy practice, for this is when the prevailing energy of the planet shifts over from waning yin to ascending Yang. As we have seen, Yang is the active principle of light associated with Heaven, while Yin is related to more passive, darker energies of Earth. Another prime time for pracice is five a.m. to seven a.m., when Yang energy peaks before it descends toward yin at noon. While Chi-Gung practice is always effective in balancing and recharging the human energy system, these two times of day provide particularly powerful results. There are also particular times when adepts are advised not to practice Chi-Gung, due to adverse astral or planetary conditions or foreboding celestial phenomena. Practicing Chi-Gung at such times imprints aberrant patterns and negative influences of such inauspicious and unbalanced conditions on the internal energy of the practicioner, giving rise to extreme imbalances of internal energy that can cause serious ailments and emotional distrubances. For example, Taoists regard eclipses of the sun and moon as extremely inappropriate times to practice Chi-Gung, because the sudden and untimely warp it causes in the natural flow of the solar and lunar energies cna result in a similar eclipse within the ehuman system. Similarly, Taoist masters advise against practising Chi-Gung when there's a comet sweeping throught the sky, because comets are maverick astral bodies that do not conform to the great cosmic rhythms of the planets and stars and their fiery presence streaking through the sky disrupts the normal pulse of cosmic energies reaching the earth, distorting the force fields of the sun, moon and the Ten Celestial stems and transmitting their erratic energy patterns to anyone who attunes thir systems into the preavailing cosmic conditions by practicing Chi-Gung at such a time. Storms, hurricanes, sweltering heat spells, blistering cold, and any other type of extreme or freak weather conditions are also considered to be bad times for humanity to synchronize its energies with the forces of Heaven and Earth. In addition to particularly good and bad times for practice, there are also particularly good and bad places. Certain locations on the planet known as power spots can produce remarakably powerful effects in the human energy system when Chi-Gung is practiced ther, especially when the practice is performed at particularly auspicious times of the year, month and day. The five sacred mountains of China Omei SHan, Wu Tai Shan, Tai Shan, Hua Shan and Chuang Shan - are such powerful spots, and for thousands of years Taoist hermits and Buddhist monks have gone to these places to perfect their practices by tapping into the powerful Dragon Veins of energy that are known to run through those hallowed peaks. Indeed, all high wind-swept mountains far from the ffluvia of human civilization are regarded as superior places for practice due to the extrordinarily potent energies ther, uncluding a very high negative ion count in the air, clarity of light, purity of water, and the strong field polarity that prevails at high altitudes. Some mountains, however, are more powerful than others due to their specific locations relative to the sun, moon, planets, stars and various constellations. Mount Shasta in California and the Red rock mountain in central Australia, Mount Arrat in Iraq and many peaks in the Himalaya are other examples of mountains auspiciously located for internal energy work and advanced spiritual practices. In ancient times, when these matters were much better understood than they are today, all important edifices such as temples and palaces were preciselt built on locations that were known to be power spots. These locations were carefully calculated by masters of astronomy and geomancey, so that buildings constructed on them served as focal points for the powers of Heaven and Earth that converged there. Since temples and palaces as well as imperial tombs and important monuments of the ancient world were all located at places specifically selected as vortices of auspicious astral forces and harmonious earthly energies, today these are still good places to go for practicing meditation and other forms of Chi-Gung. -It never ceases to amaze what others will do for power and control over others. I've recently began practicing dreamwork and Chi Kung and it is kind of crazy the world i'm becoming a part of, i hope i never have to encounter any evil spirts or stuff of that nature. -When you become a higher level spiritual being or healer: are you more open or likely to attract spirits of varied nature to you?

I am 20 years old and my favorite hobbies are Chi Kung, reading, and meditation. Therefore i have very little in common with anyone and no close friends of similar energy and am quite lonely, fortunately i've always had a loner disposition and am comfortable by myself. -I also feel that unless you have friends who have similar hobbies as you, cultivation is somewhat of a lonely path. -As for the women aspect of it: men need women and women need men, it's natural for man to want companionship and from my experience there is always a hole inside when you don't have a women by your side. -This goes for women as well, if there not in a relationship they don't feel right. It's just human nature, and there's no shame in being human.

I've heard from a Kundalini practitioner that once you start the process it is impossible to completely stop, even if you turn your back on Kundalini it will always be sturring within you. -I feel this way about my own personal practices, there is always something inside that pulls me towards my destiny, like Island said, once you pop u can't stop.

1. Become a powerful Healer and fullfill my life purpose 2. Become intune with my true nature 3. Become a master of Meditation -These are my goals so far.
