Master Lam Kam Chuen has some great Zhang Zhuang videos on youtube. Standing in Wu Chi posture 30 minutes daily (slowly increase time as you get better) is a great way to build internal strength. The only challenge with these postures is they require good body mechanics to work. Practice well and you will achieve the benefits, also he's got a classic book the Way of Energy: https://www.amazon.com/Way-Energy-Mastering-Internal-Strength/dp/0671736450/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1468752192&sr=8-1&keywords=The+way+of+energy

When the pieces fall of the table, its up to you to reshape the game. Be the calm at the center of the storm.

A pretty goofy anime, but it definitely has it's own style and charm.

IME, the calling of spirits into your body has nothing at all to do with Qigong, its a completely different kind of practice. Qigong is supposed to support your health, if it makes you sick or causes death then either you were doing it wrong or it is a terribly imbalanced/stupid system of Qigong.

In addition to insights from this forum, there are tons of reviews on amazon of Lee Holden's books and dvds. Link below. https://www.amazon.com/Qi-Gong-Self-Healing-Lee-Holden/dp/1604074396/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1468407952&sr=8-1&keywords=Lee+holden

Just a note....anything to do with Mo Pai.... I would be wary and keep your bull-shit meter on full bast. Power attracts assholes and the path itself is already laden with whatever traps we allow. As to the answer of your question, i don't know, perhaps someone more knowledgable with come through.

Go with the path that feels right to you.

Doing research, always keeping my bullshit meter on high alert, and focusing on reading the energy of people and groups has helped me side step a lot of nonsense and go straight to the people whom know what the hell there talking about. Keep an open and questioning mind, Yogani will not likely be the last shady character you come across in this scene. Best of luck on your path.

Your kind of "all over the place" with different practices so it's difficult to give advice. What i would say is get a practice you feel a strong connection with and do it daily for 100 days. After the initial 100 days if you feel like you have got a substantial benefit and enjoyed it then keep doing it daily.
