Shielding and Cleansing oneself and space are great tools for the psychic frustrations that life often throws at you. Another tool that i picked up from a practitioner was verbal releasing methods. I use it particularly for when people are unintentionally tossing thought forms at me and its disturbing my train of thought and causing me to go on tangents or think about them. Very useful for girlfriends, families and friends whom are bothering you psychically and don't even realize it. (not for serious goo like the cancer example Brian mentioned). Example of verbal releasing method (say this): "Am i willing to release all thought forms put on me by other people in the last 24 hrs." Then answer Yes/No. Its been helpful for me and is a fast food way of clearing out daily bothersome projections. Cheers.

Cool interview. Might just jump back on a re-read through her Magical Knowledge books.

Spring Forest Qigong and LDT/Foundation Practice
RiverSnake replied to Rakiel's topic in General Discussion
SFQ is a good system for sure and Chunyi is a first rate cat (from what i've read and heard of him). Sounds like your in good hands. -
Zhang Zhuang is qigong (in my understanding?). Are you looking for something special? The grass always looks greener on the other side....basic standing postures and circle walking are great tools for circulating chi. If you don't have enough time while training, just practice it at home on a daily basis (which should be done anyways). I would also like to note that this entire forum your on is filled with hundreds of sources for Qigong....sounds like you need to take your head out of your booty and value what's already at your plate.
-
My understanding is that Bagua is its own kind of Qigong and that circle walking circulates energy quite effectively. Maybe ask your teacher (he simply may not be knowledgeable on the internal components) what Bagua movements are best for internal healing? Other members on this forum: Gerard, Baguakicksass, Spiraltao....etc.... They may have some useful advice as they all practice Bagua I believe and can maybe refer you some healing Bagua movements.

If your interested in being a healer i would recommend you get training in a system of Medical Qigong. Healing oneself is one thing, but when you start healing others things can get complicated.
-
By mix i mean, do not do both at the same time within the period in which you feel the flow of energy created by Qigong exercise or reiki is still active in your body. Thirty-minutes is a good rule of thumb for time of separation of practices so you don't cause a conflict in vibration or internal movement.
-
I would say to respect each practice on its own terms. There is no need to mix, things can get complicated if you do.

Sounds like your insecurity is the real problem, rather than the size of your penis.

It may interest that Taoism at its core is closely related with Shamanism (scholars here correct me if i'm wrong) and Earth centered spirituality. If your going to mix Taoist properties with Judeo Christian models of religion you may wish to consider both sides of the fence. By the way, the whole "One True God" model creates a ton of problems....socially, spiritually, ecologically.....etc.

An interesting perspective. Buddhism definitely does emphasize the usage of the logical mind and conscious awareness for transcendence.

There is a saying that power corrupts. The reason for this is because most people don't have the internal balance needed to handle power. So for most people when they get the slightest bit of power there head (ego) blows up beyond belief. You avoid this by specifically targeting blockages in your energy body that are causing this kind of imbalance and dissolve through them. By also learning to integrate your shadow self and realize through direct gnosis (believing this isn't enough) that you are in fact not this body, you thus bypass power trips. If your starting a religion you are naturally going to attract people whom are similar to you, there is no way around this. So the more you clean out your own energy body as mentioned above, the more balanced and healthy people you will attract and thus the more balanced and healthy the religion will be. Internal purification......its hard work, but it's key to the path. That's my advice, do the inner work first, then you will be able to offer something valuable to your congregation while also not becoming another corrupt asshole.....there are plenty of those and another one is not what the world needs. Cheers.
-
I majored in religious studies, when religion becomes formalized and hierarchical things get complicated (human frailty, inability to balance power....etc). Real gnosis shatters barriers and brings one to pure unfiltered truth and bliss......at least at certain centers. Best of luck, in your ambitions.

Most religions are divinely inspired...at least in the beginning. Perhaps say a prayer to Arch Angel Gabriel for divine power and inspiration for your cause....then you might have a bit more inner content to offer people rather than just copy and pasting other peoples ideas.

Welcome to TTB. You will find much talk on internal practices here. "The Systems and Teachers Of" and "Interviews Section" is quite cool. Cheers.

William Gray a western magician not as well known has this book on ritual methods and several others. Gareth Knight and Nick Farrell also may be worth looking into. https://www.amazon.com/Magical-Ritual-Methods-William-Gray/dp/0877284989?ie=UTF8&qid=1467198553&ref_=la_B001K8BF28_1_4&refinements=p_82%3AB001K8BF28&s=books&sr=1-4

Do you have an internal practice? If not here is one, chi kung helps boost the immune system, water fasting also helps boost the immune system. Secondly, clear out all of your possessions that you do not need, keep only things you need to survive (Food/water, Clothes....etc)....this will help immensely to clear out your space and your life. If your serious about changing your life i recommend you take this advice into consideration.

Maintaining the physical body through flexibility is an important addition to a training regime. Personal I enjoy Sun Salutations and try to do them every morning. Cheers.
