In the spiritual arena i've generally found that I am attracted to more fiery-serpentine deities like Kali, Pomba Gira, Freyja.....etc. That being said, Tara has some very beautiful Root/Crown energies going on that are quite soothing to me. Perhaps i will work with her in the future.

I have heard good things from devotees of Tara who work with her and her mantra. A lovely lady.

Silent Thunder's video explains it quite practically. Vibrations affect physically reality. Obviously the mantra you were using was hitting parts of your system that triggered initial releases of subtle sensitivity. Most practices have a similar effect in that in the beginning you get very noticeable effects and then things level out as your system adjusts.....it takes continual effort to deepen your sensitivity. Different mantras have different effects, if you share what the mantra is we may be able to analyze it's effects and origin. Personally i would recommend you stay away from these things if it's only a light curiosity. Spiritual processes are a powerful and revelatory thing. Once you open that bag of chips its difficult to close.

You said you were pursuing this more for stress relief. You got this results. Sounds like a success to me......but now your having second thoughts and want to pursue occult phenomena? Is that a correct understanding?

I have experienced what Wilhem mentioned....teachers "holding back" knowledge because it is not appropriate for the students current level....does more harm than good to share sometimes. Most often though....you can find the root of many secrets in the basics....just takes a tremendous time/effort to uncover.....which the overwhelming majority of people are not willing to do.

Plenty of experience with protection work. Doing daily maintenance like salt baths are helpful to clear off bad juju. I know in ATRs they have practices called Uncrossings. Not something i am familiar with, but still valid. Plenty of books on PSD out there....our biggest challenges can come from the daily chaos of society. A couple good books below. I would not recommend conserving sexual energy for those whom have severe mental imbalances. I would recommend you go through the healing process first.

I remember Glenn in Path Notes said something similar, that women who'd gone through the Kundalini process were much stronger than men. Yet to see it myself, but i don't doubt it. As a long time martial artist it is definitely true that women grasp "soft power" much more quickly than men....while for men tension and explosive power comes much more easily.

Best to hear it from the horses mouth instead of projecting onto the situation. You can read the comments below the video as well. You didn't mention the part about most men being Martial Arts or how the majority of Men compose the military. Like i said...energy and archetypes are real, people gravitate towards spheres of influence which resonate with there internal makeup. There are of course Feminine archetypes which have a more masculine tint to them (Kali) and they are quite lovely. I'll add in response to Taomeow post.....that healing is a definitely a more feminine/watery domain. Energy healers and Alternative Medicine fields are chuck full of women....these are very very different from the domain of being a Doctor....which has a much less intuitive and more cranial approach to medicine.

Water finds its own level. Most nurses are female. Spheres of life which have a feminine quality will be attractive to women and vice versa. Most martial artists are men. It's not rocket science....energy and archetypes are real and built into reality.

I don't think it's likely that you'll find a reputable doorway into that lineage....as John Chang (according to what i read) has passed away. I would choose your cultivation system according to your goals. Enlightenment, Healing, Occult Knowledge, Martial Arts....each individual will gravitate towards different currents.
