  1. Yi Chuan demonstration

Just my opinion as an amateur, but it seems like his arms are disconnected from his root.
  2. Opposite energy of Rejection

Daeluin, it is important (IMO) to have a healthy respect for suffering and the role it plays in the lives of others. An example: Let's say your best friend just walked in on her husband plowing another women (a common situation that happens daily) . She's heartbroken and is on the verge of a mental breakdown and getting a divorce. Do you think it would be appropriate to sit down with your friend and say "Hey, this situation doesn't really matter. You just need to detach from your ego and take it as a gift from the universe, it was destined to be in the grand scheme of things, so don't worry about it, or put any effort into remedying the situation." This excerpt is very similar in theme to the post you just made previously. IMO, that would be an inappropriate sentiment for the situation and an asshole thing to say, in that hypothetical situation. Furthermore, it reaks of a sense of unavoidable "destiny" in that we have no control or influence over our lives. IME, some situations and patterns within are lives are "fated", but at the same time we can actively influence and tango with our karmic patterns. Buddha said that realization comes through "self-effort" and human striving....I am a fan of that school of thought more than the school of fixed destiny. When I see you use terms like "the greater scheme of things" and say that it was "destiny" that a guy gets rejected by women his whole life.....I feel that's a terrible and ineffectual way to argue a point, terrible advice and also (IMO) a terrible way of approaching life. Living with intent and purpose is important....versus just saying it was all "part of the plan" and it's just ego attachment/illusion so who cares anyway? Hope that clarifies my perspective. Blessings.
  3. Is joy (bliss) a marker on the way?

    Useful video:
  4. What are you watching on Youtube?

One of the anime's i've been enjoying lately. Has some pretty badass fight scenes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ui9sfWYDlQ8%C2%A0"]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ui9sfWYDlQ8
  5. Opposite energy of Rejection

Not necessarily, depends on the context. However, life is a game meant for winners. You were the fastest sperm, the rest dyed outside the egg. The slowest gazelle gets eaten by the lion. The only point in losing is so that you can learn from your mistakes and become a better winner.....if your whole life all you do is lose....then i'd say thats a pretty terrible life. If every single women you ever courted in your life rejected you....it would be hard to swallow saying that your a winner. Saying your all winners after you lose the soccer game is something your parents told you to make you feel better...but in reality it sucks to lose if you put in the hundreds of hours of practice...but if your strong enough you learn and do better next time. IME, behind the masculine drive there is a burning force of creativity, the existential and ceaseless drive to Win, succeed, refine, grow, expand and merge into deeper and deeper states of ecstasy and bliss. This is why sexual energy is so powerful...IME. From a spiritual perspective, yes we are all winners, we are all equal...but when you get soaked up into creation things naturally get divided. In my opinion, if your not living a joyful life then your a loser no matter how it may appear on the surface (Money, Women, cars....etc), but that's not a permanent state you have to be in...you can choose to be a winner....you can learn from your mistakes and grow beyond them and live a deeper more fulfilling life. Losing has its place...but its not a place you want to stay your whole life.
  6. Personal Practice Discussion Thread Request

I had a personal practice area. Had around 4 years worth of notes in there. Where is it?
  7. I don't want to own anything anymore!

The material stuff is easy, have a garage sale, you label everything as free and I'm sure it will all be gone within a day....the mind, emotions and life responsibility thing....sorry your on your own there. IME, spiritual growth involves taking on supreme responsobility for all aspects of oneself....not surrendering ones responsibility to some foreign force which is supposedly all wise and all knowing.....no being, incarnate or dis-incarnate deserves that kind of pedestal....none, zip, zero....IMO. Any "spirit friend" that makes that kind of proposal....be highly suspicious.
  8. Tarot Set for Advanced

Prisma Vision Tarot. One of the most beautiful decks i've ever seen. http://prismavisionstarot.com/
  9. Opposite energy of Rejection

To win....isn't that self explanatory? Put that energy into whatever context you like.
  10. Opposite energy of Rejection

    Choosing to be a winner.
  11. a posed question?

I think its one of those "water finds its own level kind of things". If there's more room in your cup, it will pour some more tea in.
  12. How to summon entities?

I'd also add that entities can come in and see what's up any time of the day. During periods when I was doing very intense work spirits tend to check in to see what's up with the light show. The barrier of inner and outer is more transparent than you realize.
  13. How to summon entities?

Yes.....to a certain extent. Automatic is too strong of a word. I bought a basic encyclopedia of spirits long ago, having it on myself has acted as catalyst for many adventures. Catalyst is a more appropriate word to use than automatic....IMO.
  14. Chi Sickness Remedies

Interesting stuff, I eat a vegetarian diet so there isn't much meat. Mainly beans, potatoes, fruits and vegetables. Though I do put chill peppers in my beans. Willl experiment.
  15. Chi Sickness Remedies

Not a drug related experience Spotless. Thanks for the heads up though. Scrubbing the body and self massage has definitely been useful for me. I'm a LMT myself so yeah bodywork is awesome, just gotta find someone whom is skilled and energetically clean at the same time. Breatb work isn't a central part of my practice, but Im gonna start applying it in this particular situation, as several people have mentioned it now.
  16. Chi Sickness Remedies

Very useful stuff Aetherous, thanks for the help. I've also heard lecithin containing foods helps, but my understanding is it also depends on your bodily/elemental disposition.
  17. Chi Sickness Remedies

Hey Rainbow, haven't practiced since i got burnt, but yes i am still dedicated too practicing S-M. This was no correlation with S-M though, i know exactly what caused it but don't want to go into details, suffice it to say it was a very intense spiritual experience and chi sickness is the only word i have in my vocabulary to correlate the symptoms. Cant say i want to talk about my emotions on the board or my other practices. Thanks for the helping intention.
  18. Chi Sickness Remedies

Thanks Gerard, i have a great TCM practitioner near me whom is also a chi kung instructor. Gonna take a visit.
  19. Chi Sickness Remedies

Hey Blue-eyed, your spot on about blockages and feeling shitty. Its difficult especially when you feel like crap and you don't even realize why, like your just in a nasty funk and can't seem to shake it....like having an ocean of sand in your hair and not being able to get it out. Also about the crappy media consumption (Tv, ice cream, chocolate....etc) it can get way out of hand and its a slippery slope to bottom of an ice cream cone.
  20. Chi Sickness Remedies

Thanks Blue Eyed, lots of good stuff there.
  21. Chi Sickness Remedies

Hey soaring crane, the things i'd recommend would be thus: 1. Drink lots of water 2. Eat grounding food 3. Full body massage 4. Listen to your body and don't start again before your ready I've tried all those things, but am going through a prolonged period of burnout and was fishing for other tips.
  22. Any Tao Bums in Idaho?

A beautiful collection of documentaries on Idaho: http://video.pbs.org/program/outdoor-idaho/episodes/?page=1
  23. How to summon entities?

As Spotless mentioned, this practice can be very beneficial but also cause a disaster if stupidly done. I hesitate to give any advice simply because it's something that can be quite delicate. If your interested in this field, then I suggest you make a serious study of it....it's not the kind of practice you want to go into half-hearted. Spirit Speak by Ivo Dominguez might be a good place to start.
  24. What are you watching on Youtube?

    Alan Watts lays it down:
