Welcome to TTB. Always cool to have experienced folks on the forum. My 2 cents, Peace
  4. Picking a valid internal practice and practicing daily....... is more important than adopting a set of beliefs that may or may not be true......IMO. Being part of a religion is not a pre-requisite to having a relationship with spirit. My 2 cents, Peace
  5. Questions for interview with Ching Sung

Indeed. Something I've noticed is there is a lot of emphasis in soft martial arts on being flowing and non-resisting….but what about developing physical strength? What kind of strength should one be looking to develop in order to enhance there martial practice? My 2 cents, Peace
  6. I wasn't bullshitting you. It's a real practice with extraordinary benefits. If you need to read something in order to take the leap to practice.....here is a book on the topic and also a good thread. Blessings. http://www.amazon.com/Shaking-Medicine-Healing-Ecstatic-Movement/dp/1594771499/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1397649048&sr=8-1&keywords=Shaking+medicine http://thetaobums.com/topic/6294-shaking-by-bradford-keeney/ My 2 cents, Peace
  7. Questions for interview with Ching Sung

Just kidding.....another question. 4. I have heard many masters in the esoteric arts say that after practicing for 20, 30 and 40 years....that they still feel that they have so much to learn. That there "just beginning" to understand how things work.......that there "are always higher levels" or deeper depths that we are continually becoming......in whatever practice we choose. What are your thoughts on this.....do you still feel like a beginner in your art? My 2 cents, Peace
  8. Questions for interview with Ching Sung

One more question! 3. In Internal Martial Arts much is made of developing "Internal Power" as a pre-requisite to growing in skill. However can a practitioner whom has great physical skill but little internal power defeat someone with lots of internal power but only moderate skill? The distinguishing factors between these pieces is often left quite ambiguous....what is the active dynamic between internal power and actual physical skill/talent in these arts? My 2 cents, Peace
  9. Questions for interview with Ching Sung

My first questions....I may ask more later. 1. In many Ritualistic Practices there is an emphasis on working with Spirits and Deities while in many internal arts practices there is the emphasis that one should rely solely on our own efforts in order to grow spiritually. What are the strengths and weaknesses of each approach and what is a preferable and balanced approach for the advancement of the individual practitioner? 2. As a martial artist how do you handle aggressive emotions and energies that emerge from the inherent intent and origins of the practice.....and how do you balance this with ones spiritual advancement? My 2 cents, Peace
  10. lesson 1

Cool stuff. Maybe you should do an interview for TTBs? My 2 cents, Peace

  13. The Power of "Ignore"

Have a member that's trolling you? Does seeing a Mo Pai thread break your heart? Always remember the Power of the ignore function.
  14. What a tease. My 2 cents, Peace
  15. The Power of "Ignore"

Aside from the aspect of psychic self defense....one of the reasons I have found worth ignoring another's post is simply due to the general sense of negligence and witlessness of some posts. Ever read someone's post and after your finished.........wish you could get the minute or more you spent reading that post back? This is something I have experienced on a variety of occasions. As an individual by all accounts I am quite even tempered.....but when you experience this over and over again (dozens and dozens of times) from the same individual.......that sense of loss and anger......that sense of inconclusiveness and intellectual dryness.....like a terrible movie without any deep or lasting catharsis, leaving you wondering why you paid the $7 to see it to begin with....... like chewing on sweaty boxers and being unable to stop oneself during the act....realizing what's done is done and you can't put the time back on the wall nor remove the stench of the memory from ones lips and tongue. This is sometimes how I feel......and while these kind of highly irksome posts are rare..... it is one of the reasons why I continue to appreciate "The Power of Ignore". More importantly I think its of value to take note before we write if whether ones words enrich others or simply leave them feeling pissed off. My 2 cents, Peace
  16. Thumbs up on the Interview Section. It is an outstanding addition to the forum. My 2 cents, Peace
  17. Trying to speak from a place of authority on highly esoteric topics is like trying to nail jello to the wall. My 2 cents, Peace

  20. Your body has a natural healing mechanism that will open up blockages. It's called spontaneous shaking. Stimulate your body to shake and then it let the shaking take over and your body where it needs to loose up. Doing this for an hour a day is extremely beneficial and will with time and effort ventually loosen and dissolve blockages in your body. My 2 cents, Peace
  21. This is just awesome, please watch

Fascinating and quite awesome My 2 cents, Peace
