No one told me if i'm in the sexy club? am I in? Is Lozen married? does she want to experiment with snake oil and various other chemicals to see what alchemy we can produce? Do Sean and Wayfarer want to watch while this takes place? Will they overcome their differences to fully appriciate this beautiful moment? So many questions. So few answers.

Right got my snake oil, thanks for the link. Now I have my Old west Snake oil im not sure quite what to do with it. I dont have any antiques, and I am starting to wonder if it will buff up any wood. The closest wood I can find is.... But would that burn? Any one had any experience of applying snake oil to a penis? Does it make you sexy? I need to be sexy. Now ive got my snake oil can I get in the sexy club yet? I really need to get in. I want to enter the 'whose got the most gay friends' comp. I hear there is $100 for the most gay friends. I dont have any, well there are a few suspects but they remain firmly in the closet. Do I need to get some gay friends before I can join the sexy club?
-
This is so funny glad to see a bit of humour. Sean can I join your sexy club? Is it like a night club, with age limits and stuff? Can we make a poll for who wants to join the sexy club? I keep hearing about snake oil. I had a look round my local ASDA (walMart) They said they didn't have any, Im gonna have a look on ebay cos they have everything. anyone got a link to snake oil supplies?

My understanding is that its internal cultivation. Used for spiritual awakening, improving your martial arts etc. If you have done any QiGong then you will have an idea what neigung is. WeiGung ? (cant remember the name for external practice, but think its like weiDan (external elixir)) Using mind and body to open the chi channels in preparation for neiGung. this restores normal chi flow improving your martial arts and health. NeiGung (neiDan internal elixir) When you have opened the chi channels and have replenished your chi, you can then transport it around your body for the purposes of your study. You want to have spiritual enlightenment, transport it to the brain. You want to have good martial arts, transport it to the bone and muscles. This is achieved through sitting meditation as apposed to moving meditation (weiGung) Thats what I remember? I think I might be a bit off on some names but the general principal is right. Meditation books by yang, Jwing ming are excellent for getting started on this path. My practice envolves QiGong followed by Tai chi then Meditation. I try to do it daily and it is a great combination of mind, body, spirit cultivation.

Try looking on any Out Of Body Experince forums. They have many techniques for this kind work as they use it for their OOB experiences. Keep us posted on your experiences. I find that its when I wake up I have lucid dreams. If I set an alarm and wake up to the alarm, I am often dragged out of the dream state. I experience the last few minutes of the dream as a reality I can't tell the difference between these last few minutes and my wakings days. They are so real I remember having conversations where I have no idea what the other person will say, been places and done things. Just as real as what I experience when I'm awake. It makes me wonder what is going on because it all seems that it has come from outside my mind. There is a clear difference between hazy thoughts and day dreaming to the lucid dreams I experience. I think that if you wanted to experience more lucid dreams it might be worth instead of trying to remain conscious as you drift off to interrupt the dreams. Set your alarm clock for several points during the night. This would bring you out of the dream state, so you would remember much more. The problem with this is that it interrupts your sleeping patterns which will affect your physical and mental health. Perhaps its best practiced one a week. I think you could end up feeling that you live in both worlds so it could have a bad effect on your daily life. Anyway, keep us posted on your progress.

If its a recent thing, then I would say get to your doctor. It could be a symptom of something else. if its always been that way then I dont have any idea how to make it stand up more. Perhaps cutting down the alcohol, smokes, eating healthy, exercising and ejaculating less freqently. This will make it a lot harder than normal so makes it stand up more. Also are there any psychological issues involved. Are you a bit depressed, overworked etc. It all can have an effect on errections.

Man shoots electricity out from his hand

I'd love to learn how to do this trick. Anyone have knowledge how to do it on a smaller scale? Like those chi masters ? It would be great if I could freak out my tai chi class I would tell them i meditate ten hours a day and use all sorts of odd taoist alchemy. Please tell me how its done! Neat trick. -
Well said Wayfarer64, The best sex I have ever had has been through spiritual connections. I think thats why it used to be called 'making love'. You are both creating love and sharing the experience simultainously. Its a shame that many people have no concept of how to make love. People can often base their love life on what they have seen in porn movies. I have been with a few women that have no concept of a spiritual connection during sex and a very basic view of foreplay. Its really dissapointing and limits the depth of the relationship. Sex will get boring fast. So you end up going down the road bringing equipment and all sorts to the bedroom just to keep the spark alive. Its a good topic to bring up. I would like to know who has had these kind of spiritual love making experiences and their views on it. Please answer both men and women.

Could we start a post 'rate my knob for chi' ? We could post pics of it being flaccid then hard and the women at taobums can decide our chi power or attainment of dao. We could then crown the winner a taoist master and study his 'way of the knob' Perhaps we could also do 'rate my tits and ass for chi' just so the women at taobums dont feel left out. I am personally volunteering to judge this contest and will crown the winner 'taobum woman of the year'. Feel free to post your pics below for my personal pleasure
-
Am I still at the taobums? If your needing more when you have enough, then having more will never be enough. There are better things to do with your life than stretching your 7 inch dick to gain a bit more. If I was you I would go out and get some fresh air. Your obviously lacking in other areas in your life but the people on here are somtimes too polite to say. I dont see the connection between stretching your knob and taoism. Isn't it just chasing your ego? I saw a documentary about people who hang weights off the end of their shlong. The muscle basically detaches itself from the pubic bone I think. Yes it give you an inch or so but your errection becomes horizontal making it look a bit funky. Its really not worth doing, work on your charisma and love making techniques. The women in your life will appriciate it a thousand times more.

My Space Cencored Common Cause message
MASTERforge replied to Wayfarer64's topic in General Discussion
Thanks for your reply Wayfarer64, I took a look at the advert. It seems fairly harmless and I guess it wouldn't look out of place on the guardian website. The only reasons I can think for them not running the ad is that it my be percieved as a hate campaign targetting Britney Spears. Thats not necessarily a bad thing , but anything that could be percieved as a personal attack on someone will of course not be run. Oh and it might not have been run because it could have been seen as a targeted slur on NewsCorp. But I think that was your point . Or maybe they have a policy of not running ads that are very political? Otherwise far right groups would also be able to advertise. If we could see the full content of the email/letter and the stated reasons for the rejection then it would be easier to make an informed decision on the validity of the claims of 'Common Cause'. I have to be perfectly honest here and I hope that my words dont offend anyone but the 'Common Cause' marketing team are doing no favours for themselves with the way they are presenting their image. When I first read the post I got the impression that it was a typical far left activist group looking for a cause. They baited MySpace as an easy target. Its not unknown for activist groups to do this to create media attention. Lets be honest without the MySpace incident we wouldn't be talking about them now. If you have any affiliation with them then perhaps a gentle word about their marketing methods would help them a lot. If I had been given the story, then the advert and finally a copy of the rejection letter they would be a far more credible organisation. I might even have donated. I am quite happy to give suggestions or advice to your organisation and/or common cause. I have a university Degree in business and I also run my own webstore www.masterforge.co.uk. Any advice given will of course be free of charge. Sorry for my spelling its 23.45 and im quite tired -
This is quite an interesting topic for me as i recieved a book on standing pole for christmas. I haven't got round to practicing yet as I do QiGong, Tai Chi and Embryonic breathing meditation. These more than cover my needs for the moment. But its also good to hear of peoples experiences.

I had a similar discussion on this topic a while back with my friend. I said something along the lines of: 'perhaps when your body dies your spirit returns to its source. The source will probably be beyond human comprehension. Your memories may seem insignificant. Certainly you would have no bodily desires as they come from a bodies needs. No body = no bodily desires. You wouldnt even be male or female' He replied and completly dumbfounded me with his response: 'If your memories, ego and earthly desires are left behind then what have you become? Something totally different from that what you were. Isn't that death?' He had a point. Brain damaged people can have very different personalities than before their illness. Would that person before the illness be seen as dead if the person now with the damage bears no resemblence in personality traits? What defines us is is largely earthly based. Anyone who has had any power or wealth then lost it can attest to this. They may also come to reasoning that these coporeal achievements are quite illusory. A few years back I was living abroad and had a regular job. I was moving along just nicely until I was made redundant because it was a temporary post. I was abroad so everything I had previously defined myself by e.g. family, friends and society had completly changed. I had to do a lot of soul searching to find out who I was without these outside definitions. I was flat broke living off rice and moldy peppers. I realised that whatever gain I may make in the future I can always survive on the bare essentials. I believe this is why it is more beneficial to cultivate spirit than material possessions. Wealth comes and goes. But you take your spirit everywhere. Perhaps you dont take your memories and ego to the next side but do you take your level of spiritual development?

My Space Cencored Common Cause message
MASTERforge replied to Wayfarer64's topic in General Discussion
Firstly I would like to say that I know nothing about Common Cause or have any connection to it. Nor do I have any connection or affiliation with NewsCorp or any of its umbrella organisations. Im just one guy with an opinion. Perhaps not a very good one. So you probably shouldn't be reading this. But if you are then you know that I have absolved myself of all responsibility. If your politics is far right or far left don't come knocking on my door to give me a kicking for my commy/facist views. Ok lets get to the point. The article grabbed my attention for many reasons but any piece that suggests a donation at the end I instantly become sceptical about. They typically pull at the heart strings and promise world destruction unless I do something like email ten friends or send money. I have done neither and I am awaiting the forth coming apocolypse. The 'Common Cause' sounds like a very worthy organisation to join. If they have the right motives. I would need to look into this further but quite frankly I have more interesting things to do. I didn't see the ad they were trying to put on MySpace but I suspect a bit of easy NewsCorp baiting to create a story. It would be much better if we could see the advert and decide for ourselves if MySpace were not justified in running it. It would bolster the credibility of any censorship/control claim. I agree with the belief that NewsCorp may have bought MySpace not purely for the advertising revenue gained. They will also be running their own advertising selling products and services under the NewsCorp umbrella. Its also a good way to monitor what the 'yoof' are into. They will be the first to know about new trends like fashion and music. Much of the latest/coolest things had their roots in MySpace. NewsCorp will be among the first to find the newest talents. This is priceless for them. Imagine what bands they will be able to sign before they become big. Is there any evidence of censorship in MySpace profiles? Regardless of what advertising they refuse to run, is there any evidence of clear censorship? For example, has anyone with opposing beliefs had their profile closed/edited? Not for swearing but giving coherent and articulate views against NewsCorp? Probably not. Then the censorship is not on the people but the advertisers. If this is true then 'Common Cause' has created an issue to raise awareness of a problem that doesn't exist. You must ask their motives for this. Sure NewsCorp is a giant for right wing propaganda but are they at a stage of silencing the people? I think your freedom of speech and expression will still exist as long as we have an open and free internet. But you will see a much more specialised marketing campaigns from MySpace. And you will see more corporations gobbling up the innovators of the internet. If there was censorship, then the people who are being censored will find another outlet to share their views and beliefs. Thats why I am so grateful for things such as forums being open source software. Its free and anyone can create one. This post has been edited for waffle, bullshite, and random profanity -
Thats the thing about forums, its easy to switch into teacher/preacher mode as we all like to give our views whether they are right, wrong or just plain crazy. The thing I like about this forum is that 'flaming' is quite rare. Flaming being the term for having a forum argument. I have never really understood this as I cant be arsed to have an argument over the internet. Often I have wanted to add my two cents but thought it better to say nothing. I sometimes read the developments of the arguments and weigh up the points. Perhaps I learn something new or decide that someones a moron! You bring up a valid point about the competition on here for being the most humble or trancended. Sometimes it makes me laugh and sometimes it makes me reach for the sick bucket. Thats the point of joining a forum, you will get all kinds of people some will be sincere and some will be delusional. I think the greatest problem here is the people trapped by dogmatic teachings. They end up doing lots of weird and wonderful things to 'cultivate the dao' or achieve 'enlightenment'. I think if lao tsu was alive he wouldn't recognise any of it as his teachings and would find it quite amusing. As soon as I add bizzare rituals like eating yellow berries under a half moon when saturn is aligned with venus to align my yin chi then I know its time to cut down on reading the taobums and get some fresh air. From my understanding Taoism got turned into a religious practice a few hundred years after the tao te ching was written. This was when the methods for cultivation began and the dogmatic teachings were developed. Some of them are extremely useful and other are a waste of time. Common sense is needed! Taoist development can be seen as similar in development to that of Christianity in terms of what the followers of Jesus did to his teachings. Jesus was a sage whose words were turned into dogmatic teachings that benefitted the coffers of the church. Taoism has developed in these terms too. It was turned into a religious following and now with its development in the west we are promised instant enlightenment if we sign down to a weekend course for only $700 I joined here to find like minded individuals who were interested in exploring and discussing taoism. I have found many of the conversations fascinating and they have helped me develop as a person. None of the benefits I have gained from here have included any sort of funky cultivation techniques but then again I havent tried them! I have no intention of offending anyone personally as I really enjoy this forum. So I apologise if I have. Humbly yours

I would like to spend more time doing tai chi and QiGong with a future aim of teaching. I would love to teach full time. I achieved quite a lot this year. I started my own business that is now taking off. This has given me lots of new skills and experiences. Business doesnt have to be for the sole purpose of accumulating wealth. My hobby turned into a business and this passion reflects the way I run it. I started the business due to lack of employment opportunities and I have found this very empowering. I also started volunteering this year mentoring an asylum seeker. This helps them integrate and learn about us westerners. Its also a great learning experience for me. I believe that to grow as a person we need to be taken out of our comfort zones. If more people were willing to do this I think there would be less predjudice in the world. This has been one of the more enjoyable years ive had in a long time. I look forward to the coming year. I hope to see some projects that I have had on the burner for a while completed and a positive progression in my life. Oh, I nearly forgot! I would like to read more gems on taobums for me to contemplate.

I was reading through some posts and thought it was about time I thanked all of the people involved at Tao Bums. I joined here early this year as I was trying to find like minded people. I was inspired by the depth of conversations in the posts. Rarely can I enter a conversation so deep and stimulating in my normal life. I live in a small town where most of the inhabitants are terriffied of getting to know people beyond the superficial. I cant explain why this is so, but it is frustrating and also isolating. This website gives me an outlet for my thoughts. I really didnt know there were people as spiritually curious as I was. I was beginning to think I had some sort of neurosis. What people would take for given I would question and this has caused me problems all my life. Now I don't feel so alone. Here, I find people are honest and there is an open atmosphere to share thoughts. Reading the posts on here encourages me to practice and develop my Taoist studies further. I meditate, practice QiGong and Tai Chi. I have found that the most profound statements are not expressed in words so I could never thank you enough. I will end here with a big thank you to all those people who contribute here.

Hello TheLearner, I couldn't help but put my two cents worth in My opinion on crop circles are that they are done by creative artists. I live in England and they are quite common here. I saw one this year on the east coast near Great Yarmouth. It was quite a simple design but still nice to see it. It was set in a field that was slanted towards a main road making it a perfect canvas. I have also seen fields where the crop is almost flattened with twists and swurls. I think maybe the wind or soil type causes the strange growth. They are never as intricate as crop circles though. I don't know if the lock ness monster has been totally debunked. Its a massive place and I think its about 22 miles long and about a mile wide. Its also very deep in places and the water is cloudy making visibility near impossible. There might be a few odd creatures in there but I don't know. I think they are probably better kept secret anyway. Big foot isn't just native to America or the west. Sightings of giant mammalian animals are reported all over the world. They are seen in places such as Brazil, China and Russia. UFO's are so last year. I think most of the sightings are actually of top secret research. The best reported case in the U.K is Rendlesham Forest. The incident was reported by the military. I am convinced there is life on other planets because the universe is so large it would be stupid to think there is only life here. As to the level of development I don't know. The 90's phenomena of abductions was largely in America I think? Psychic powers? There is documented proof that the Americans and Russians used remote viewers during the cold war. I think it is possible to gain a certain amount of intuitive sense by becoming more receptive to people. Kind of like a womans intuition. If there were people out there with astounding gifts I think they would 'disappear' fairly quickly. I wouldn't be too keen on advertising special powers, i've seen too many x-files for that! Beware the probe!
