Yes! New Age is a big soup of delusions. With a lot of illusions confirming eachother. Just look at the 2012-psychosis so many people are stuck in.

These last years Ive been doing this as my main practice. Stillness meditation is definately the one practice that has brought me the most effective developement and healing. When I look at my past practices, with advanced visualization, colours, images, concepts, superduper high divine energies, communication with the highest most divine beings in the universe, etc, nothing can compare to what I have recieved through stillness meditation these last years. The first meditation I learned was stillness meditation. It was also the simplest I have learned. And now I have realized it was the best meditation I have ever learned.

I dont really like Sigur Ros on album, but they are amazing live. Ive been to two concerts with them. Here is a wonderful Sigur Ros video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sWiJWLiSKro...feature=related And Scott, Tool is f--ing awzome live! But seriously, the last show they had in Norway sucked. Sound was bad. Sound can NOT be bad on a Tool concert goddammit!!! My best live experience has been Muse and Manu Chao. Manu Chao was a out-of-the-body experience for the whole crowd I think. Ive never seen so many euphoric faces gathered in one place.

I saw this clip early in the morning. Inbetween the stillness in my mind and the hum of the universe I still hear the ecco of this clip. The colours.... the dancing.... oh!!! the horror!

Someone posted a link to an article a while ago describing evolutionary research showing how religious thought began around 40.000BC when the human brain developed the necessary faculties for imagination.

Best lesson of 2008 (which is applicable to all)

It was not THAT down to earth. He was actually very surprised that his prediction was right. hahaha, thats some serious astrologer! I got some sort of distant respect for Henning Hai Lee when I saw him market himself as the "Best furtuneteller in the WORLD" many years ago. I dont know if its irony or a really big ego. Maybe a charming combination of both. -

Hold your breath for 120 heartbeats!!?? I dont think that is possible for us keeping a job, a girlfriend, a dog(you know, all the bad luck that disturbs us dog-owners ), watching tv, answering taobum posts and eating meat. I understand better now why all the masters go into several year long retreats.

When its time to rest, rest. And 2009 seems to be: when its time to work, work. -
Congratulation! no more sleep for you!

I can feel the heat in the belly when ever I want if I visualize it. But only a few times have I felt it, like hot water or a hot glowing piece of coal, with high quality Zhan Zhuang or breathing meditation(no visualization). But its not everyday I get such high quality in my practice.... Guess my modern life turbulence is not ideal for cultivation.

Yes, I also had a boost in my breathing when I started doing long in-breaths. I've always had longer outbreath than inbreath. Some months ago there was some talk about here inbreath bringing yin and outbreath bringing yang. So I had to try. When I focused on long and slow inbreath my breathing surprisingly got a lot deeper and longer. My whole respiratory rythm got slower. 2 breaths a minute in meditation is no problem anymore.

hahaha! No wonder the world has turned out the way it has! The cavemen brought upon us all SUPER ULTRA MEGA unluck for the rest of human history after falling into, and even seeing, the big, smelly, steaming, fresh dinosaurus poo. Oh damn, now I imagined the big, smelly, steaming, fresh dinosaurus poo. My life is doomed. shit.

I see. Thanks! Then I hope Ya Mu would like to contribute too

Yes I would. Why not? When my ego and fear is no longer in the way, suffering is no longer an issue. Right? And if suffering is no longer an issue, all this argumentation you do to explain "graduating" lower dimensions melts away. But yes, we need to learn and go through the grades of school. Only it is not like "escaping" earth-dimention or suffering. Karma does not end. Wherever there is action, there is also reaction. And for the "kindergaden" ego, reaction = suffering. But for the "graduated" ego, reaction = creating. By then it dosent matter if you are on earth or any other place or dimention in the universe becase you can create wherever you want.
-
I believe that after a while(thousands of incarnations) we reach a level of compassion and trandscendece where "escaping" rebirth no longer is an issue.

Ive heard of another Fu called Fuk Yu Spam. But I agree with Cat. Have good manners. Its not like this is worse than all the kunlun threads... only a little bit more religious maybe.
