  1. labels like tao master under avatar

what about: tao master - great tao grandmaster - great grand super master of tao master - super great enlightened tao master - master master of tao master - highly advanced super tao master - extremely enlightened immortal supermaster of tao - etc. This is not like we are catholics being afraid of blasphemy, going to hell and things like that, is it???
  2. I practice KunLun

I think most people here dont do kunlun really. I dont either. But maby those few who are really active(and defencive) on this forum, are the ones that practice kunlun. But still, I believe most kunluners out there care more about their own practice than defending it on some forum.
  3. Network Spinal Analysis is a kind of chiropractic method that is a lot more gentle and fun. There was a video of it but it seems to be taken off the air. KMI is a kind of deep tissue massage that is pretty much like Rolfing, but they work with whole planes, or lines, of tissue going from head to toe. Almost like meridians. Check it out! It is really interesting for all bodyworkers, acupucturists, yogis and Zhan Zhuang practitioners: www.anatomytrains.com.
  4. Yes, this is always a problem for most of the treatments out there I think. Some people say the underlying issues is the chemistry, some think it is the food, some think it is the tissue, some think it is the bones, some think it is the emotions, some think it is the thoughts, some think its karma, etc. But it seems that whatever level we say is the "underlying", there is a deeper level under there too. I dont think any treatment work more than temporary unless we go through the whole spectrum of consiousness to confirm the change. Unless there is a complete and deep change of character, the imbalance will just remanifest somehow, somewhere. Did Rolfing hurt? Ive heard they are pretty hard on the body. KMI is said to be little more comfortable. Do you know why Rolfing made your arrythmia worse?
  5. Wow, your worse than me! shopping around for interesting treatments So Rolfing helped? I had one treatment with KMI which is derived from Rolfing. That was really great both for my spine and neck, and I think I became a couple cm taller. My Zhan Zhuang got better also! Im going back to get more KMI in january when Ive done a little more of Network. My sisters boyfriend had the Atlasprofilax treatment. He say it didnt do much for him, but my sister completely disagrees and say he has become a lot less agressive If Network and KMI dont do the thing for me Im also going for the Atlasprofilax
  6. My chiropractor say every chiropractor does this, and it is just a small part of their practice. But as someone explained in another thread it is not the same adjustments because they have a special instrument. But Im sure Chiropractors does very similar things. It might be possible to ask a chirpractor ONLY do work on atlas. And if he wont then just find some other chiropractor that wants to cooperate Also I believe Cranio-Sacral therapists have techniques for atlas balancing.
  7. I practice KunLun

    Oh, that was beautiful!
  8. Wilhelm Reich and me

Yes, very unfortunate, hahaha. Thats why the swedes invade our country! So can "orgone" be some kind og jing maby? I dont know much about Reich's theories, only the littlebit I read on wiki just now.
  9. Tibetan Lama Demonstrating Qigong

With a little qigong and a big enough ego to program your students to believe in your "amazing" and "high level" powers, anyone can do these things. I have yet to see anyone use video clips like these to market them selves and still be honest about the mechanisms of it.
  10. One - The Movie

you know what? I made a big mistake and saw The Day the Earth Stood Still instead. That was one of the most waste of 1,5 hours I have ever been through... So Ill see if I get time to se One tomorrow. When I die and the angel asks me if there was something I regret this life, I will answer "yeah, it was watching The Day The Earth Stood Still".
  11. One - The Movie

oh... wonderful! Now I know what Im doing tonight!
  12. Horrible Posture

Im looking into something that looks really good for posture: anatomy trains and KMI. http://www.anatomytrains.com/ The DVDs they sell are exceptional! Really good, lots of information and very practical. And the Bodyreading101 should be interesting for anyone doing bodywork of any kind. KMI is developed from Rolfing which is a deep tissue massage for posture corrections, aimed at aligning the body to the gravitational field. Ive had just one treatment with KMI and had a wonderful effect on my Zhan Zhuang and spine. So Im going back in a while to get more.
  13. Amazing Chinese Master

I couldnt agree more. But the thing is that even people who have been sending energy for years, doing lots of work with energy and selfdevelopment for decades, attending workshop after workshop, doing healingwork and teaching and all that, STILL dont know what they are doing. It might seem like experience has nothing to do with it. Only the quality of the teacher. (and of cource the quality of the student )
  14. Funny Youtube clips!

hahaha, Im shure this will make us jizz in our pants too
  15. Here is a link to a video of Network Spinal Analysis that I just found: http://www.brightcove.tv/title.jsp?title=686980998 Very gentle and still extremely effective in correcting the spine and the skeleton.
  16. Daoists usually die

I do! Every day. After I started doing that my life quality was raised a thousandfold. Everytime I realize I am going to die one day, maybe any day, I enjoy my life and all the wonderful small details and moments even more. But I have seen this is a very difficult issue to talk about. Death is a suppressed subject. Something that is bad, gross, nasty, and unwanted. Even high level spiritual people who "believe" in reincarnation have difficulty talking about this. People do all they can to not think of their fear of death, and therefore they dont realize their love for life either. When my time comes I am going to recieve it with open arms and a big smile. ...but not until my time comes.
  17. I practice KunLun

Well, it was not intended to you SiliconValley, but I dont know. I am not the one to decide who projects and who dosent, probably everybody does it no matter how divine we feel and what method we think is better than the other. Or... probably everybody does it as long as we think someone is more divine than someone else... I couldnt resist the urge to comment on this thread anymore. So now I have to live with the regret...damn.
  18. I practice KunLun

Watch out for the pre/trans fallacy, people. It looks like this thread is full of it. When people project a lot of negativity on to others, saying they are negative, not open, not divine like "me" or "us", and at the same time say "everything is divine", it is a sure sign of ego roaming free. When people are quick to say "it is only you who see your self, not me (because I am divine and ego-less)", it is a sure sign of ego projecting its own issues.
  19. Xin Yu of depositing

  20. Xin Yu of depositing

Wonderful work Wudangquan! A great inspiration among the other not-so-inspiring threads nowdays. Thanks a lot!
  21. Interesting! I believe there are several new treatments popping up over the planet that use these concepts(neuro-energetic connection) to explain their treatment. There is one here in Norway just in the beginning of being introduced called StillPoint Massage. I've had one treatment and that effectively eliminated an acute pain in the neck with just simple and very light one-finger touch in the strangest places around the body. Very strange but extremely effective. Im looking forward to when this treatment is more available. Im also getting treatments from a chirpractor doing something called Network. He dont use the regular chiropractic forceful cracking, but only very light touch and then leaves the body alone for a while. When he leaves I allways experience lots of changes going on. Like twists in the spine and muscles adjusting themselves. He explains that he activates the parts of the body that already is balanced. This travels up the nervesystem to the brain that naturally starts to correct the unbalanced parts in the rest of the body. Ive done this three times now and allready my hip and spine is correcting itself. My chiropractor say this also makes the changes last a lot better than with the forceful cracking of the spine, because the whole nervesystem and musclesystem is included. Its a body-mind treatment, he say. And Ive also heard of versions of Cranio Sacral Therapy that I believe use the same concepts to explain their technique.
  22. Last time you were sick?

Until 3 weeks ago its been way over 10 years. But now I have a regular office job, work regular hours, and have a very stable life with lots of rest. So I got sick. And then, just when I was getting better I got an infection in my knee. So now this infection has probably made my meniscus worse and I might need to operate. So its all piling up on me here. Cant wait to see what will happen next. Maby I should quit my job and become self-employed again. That seems to be much better for my health.
  23. My impression of the Kunlun Seminar tonight

It is also a fact to take into consideration that the self-confirmation that goes on within a community is extremely easy to fall for. Everybody backing up the illusions of the community and confirming the illusions over and over for eachother. And as long as no other influence is allowed to enter the circle of self-confirmation there is no way to discover what is true and what is not. If what goes on within a group does not survive outside of the group...well...then....figgur-ee-tout.
