  1. any ken wilber fans here?

Ken Wilber dosent have a brain, he prooved it himself: His therories are genious. I use them a lot. I got an overview of them from Joseph Dillard who has integrated them into a dreamwork method he calls Dream Yoga, also called Deep Listening or Integral Dreamwork (so its not confused with Tibetian Dream Yoga), explaining the AQAL and how it relates to dreams. But it seems everything is supposed to be "integral" these days.

Funny how people blindly believe in science as the only truth. Just like people do with any other religion really. Science is based on electromagnetics. Everything in science is electromagnetics. And the only thing we can measure is electromagnetic effects. Now, what if reality consists of many more kinds of forces? How will science ever be able to proove them by using electromagnetic devices? Gravity is still not prooven by science, only in theory and observation. Consciousness is not prooven by science either, only in theroy and observation. So if everything we believe in has to be prooved by science, there isnt really much left. When we look closely at these beliefes, science dosent really bring us anything based on truth. Only things based on electromagnetics. And as for the scientific method, it is just as limited by the scientits limited perspective than anything else. Religious, blind faith or what ever. The sugar industry has prooven over and over that sugar does no harm to our body, for gods sake. And still we feel that sugar is not good for us! We must be totally delutional And double-blinded studies can never research the interaction between people. There is so many limits to science it all boils down to what you choose to put your faith in. There is not much science can do really, other than confirm the beliefsystem we are in as a culture. Just like any other religion.

  4. Stillness vs Visualization meditation

I read in a book yesterday about a taoist saying "its hard to be clever, and hard to be foolish, but even harder yet to go from cleverness to foolishness"
  5. Stillness vs Visualization meditation

One thing with visualization is that it can be used constructively and destructivly. T.ex. there has been done brain research stating the the image of eating an apple stimulates the same brain areas as the real eating of the apple. The images we make, or any sensory stimulation we create in our mind, does really stimulate and affect the physical body. If you are stressed out, just visualize yourself laying on a beach with a warm breeze blowing and listen to the waves spalshin to the shore. Depending on how well you visualize it, or sense it with all senses, it will stimulate the same hormonal release and ease the stress the same way as the real experience. It is a fantastic tool for a lot of applications. But just not for realizing reality.
  6. Stillness vs Visualization meditation

Im not actually saying visualizations are bad. Just that having all spiritual progress based on visualization techniques is not going to bring you anyware but into more illusions. Its like the technique to levitate - visualize it! Does it work? NO! You get the feeling, but you dont really levitate. And then whats the point? Visualizing thunder out of your hands, does it work?? You get a lot of senzations and amazing experiences and feelings, but does it really work? It just gets stronger within your own limited prison of illusory worldview. I have done my share of visualizations and it has only brought me to the point where I realize it is not getting me anywhere. And that the effect og visualization gets a thousandfold stronger if I am in stillness first. Most practises are based on visualization so this does piss off a lot of people who base their whole progress on some visualization learned ona weekend workshop or through an ebook. Especially those visualizing auras, meridians, qi-flow, merkabahs, light and love, heavenly experiences, etc, and by that believe they actually are close to being enlightened. If visualization was that effective there would be a lot more enlightened people in the spiritual community around the world. And a lot less delutional people. Im not discarding all visualizations. Just the belief that visualization is the important part. Atleast thats my point of view
  7. Stillness vs Visualization meditation

Ive been doing all kinds of visualizations for many years. But now, the last year and a half Ive only been doing stillness meditation. Stillness is a lot better for my progress and my life is a lot more balanced. I think the ability to be still should come first, then visualization can be good. But Ive done it the other way around, and I think many people do it the other way around. Visualization first and then, maby, stillness if the visualizations bring them anywhere. The trouble with visualization is that the images is created by the ego. It happens within the limited consciousness we are already in. It would do nothing more than to confirm these limitations. We need stillness to be able to go beyond our selves. The other trouble with visualization is that our reality is mostly created within our own mind. If we use our mind to create other realities, we just make the real reality harder to see.

  10. stretch into full-lotus?

I tried your technique yesterday. I just sat crosslegged and relaxed my hips and legs more and more for about 15 minutes until I reached the point where I felt I was able to go full lotus. And I surprisingly schmock right into it. So I had about 30 minutes meditation in my most comfortable full lotus so far. What a great and simple technique man! Thanks a lot!

Well, youre right, there is a difference between showing love and pushing it on people. I dont think any mother need to use a merkabah on their chinldren to show them love. And no one needs to channel universal healing energy to express their love to those that are angry at us. But beamers do this. Thats why we call them beamers and normal people are not called beamers. Noone needs to flood the earth with a trillion-times-the-speed-of-light love(or any other very very special energy than only a few chosen masters know about) as if it was not full of love allready... The constant and deliberate spreading of shen is not a healthy way to live. Healers, if it is qi healers or reiki healers or whatever, have problems because of spreading their energy. Unless they have learned techniques to collect back their consciousness. Many suffer from nightmares, emotional unbalanced moods, having grotesque thoughts they dont know where comes from, etc. Most healers think they are at one with the universe and in perfect balance, but when they start to really look at them selves and get really really hounest with themselves, they will see that the way the do healing is causing them harm. Its a realisation people get after years of years of healing, if they get it at all.
  13. Mer Ka Ba

Vortex. Try a beaming experiment for a few years. Really do it, for the good of all mankind. Just do it any way you like, ask the higher self for permission, do it in syncronicity with the holy spirity, and all that. Do it wholeheartedly and with all your good intentions. Then take a few years without beaming at all. You will definately not fail to notice an amazing difference in your life. Its like the before-and-after pictures you see in comercials of people who lost weight.
  14. how does transmission work?

This is not direct evidence of transmission, but it shows that a physical present teacher gives a lot more benefits from learning meditation. So it points towards transmission. PubMed Article I read this abstract a few days ago and saw this post just now, so why not.
  15. Mer Ka Ba

Exactly! Thanks Cameron for this explenation.

Hey! Im not discrediting the merkabah, just the mind-games used to create it and command it. Like I said before, and like Spectrum also pointed to, the Merkabah is a living being. It has a mind and intelligence of its own. Im certainly not discrediting the merkabah, just the overactive mind that some teacher have to spell-bind people with fancy and mysterious words. Like "Get your new Hyperdimentional Gravity Zero Dimention(G.O.D.) DNA. Special offer only today!" And for beaming, I think Bob Dratch is on to something. How many thaousands of years have we had enlightened, ascended, all-powerful masters beaming light and love on to our planet? Shouldnt we all be living in a harmonious heart-centered reality where everyone greets each other by crying because we love each other so much?? Has the world gotten any better? Oh, maby it is the other peoples fault, the people with a low consciousness not destined to ascend? Ive been beaming for many years. I spun my merkabah on every homeless, angry or sad person I saw in the city. But I realized after a while what terrible act it is to force my energy and my will on someone else. Its such a disrespect for people and divinity I get a little sick by thinking of it. We tend to think there is something wrong with the world and that we know what the world needs to get well again. We dismiss the fact that we are part of a bigger picture, bigger movements, at one with nature and with God, not separate. My life got so much better when I stopped beaming and spreading my self everywhere. Also Bob Dratch mentiones the endorphin kick we get out of pushing our love on to the world and other people. Its not neccecarily connected to true love, but to the endorphine rush we get. So much of the spiritual experiences is nothing more than hormones and neuropeptides created by our own visualization and fantacy.
  17. Mer Ka Ba

It should be about god damn time! I used to spin my merkabah even FASTER than 33000 times the speed of GOD!! hahaha
  18. Mer Ka Ba

I can take a first crap at it. One thing the merkabah spinners experience is an heightened mind activity. It is thought of as spiritual insight, but as this article shows, is is just a load of crap delivered really fast. Like 33000 times beyond the speed of light kind of fast...as we would say in the Melchizedeks Method When we have an overactive mind we can confirm our beliefs in absolutely every detail we see. And we think we are correct all the time and that we must be on to something that the divine is showing us. Notice how the word god is used to explain his belief about how God is beyond time and space, g=gravity, o =zero, d=dimention. Or how he sees the word lucifer as containing phi. Or "first man-u" is connected to Brahma-Manu. The text is loaded with childish connections created by an overactive mind. Anyone can do those things if they are on drugs or spin any fantacy really fast with their mind. And when we have that high we think we are on to something really special. Funny how strong our will is to confirm our wildest belief and how the world is so subjective that it is actually confirmed. And spinning the merkabah thousand times the speed of light or with complex geometric structures created with the mind is not gona make it any better...not any more true either.
  19. Mer Ka Ba

I dont think we should equal Merkabah to Drunvaldos activation technique or Melchizedek. The Merkabah does not neccesarily need an activiation technique. It can come as it pleases, spontaneously, and it can be discovered naturally as the individual developes. It is not everyone who has Merkabah experiences who knows it is called Merkabah or Mer Ka Ba by others. So the vehichle and intelligence that the merkabah is, should not be associated specifically with Drunvaldo, Melchizedek, J.J.Hurtak or any other group. They dont have the copyright for it. They might have the copyright for their activation technique, but not the thing itself. It is not the Merkabha that should have a warning label, but the group or teacher presenting the technique.
  20. Mer Ka Ba

Absolutely! Ive learned a lot from my playing around with this group. The whole concept of ascencion is a giant illusion. Its borrowed the eastern rainbow body and things like that, but western spiritual people believe they can achieve it if they just visualize enough love and light. But I do belive he had integrity in he beginning. He was a regular aussie, down to earth and no extra showing off. But after a few years he started wearing fancy rings, getting more and more fancy suff for his workshops, selling more and more special stuff. He lost his down to earth expression. He also said in the beginning that there was 5 levels to his method. But when he got to level 5 he started teaching 5.1, 5.2, and so on. So there is more of the tragic irony. I think this is part of the interplay between teacher and students. If the teacher is not strong enough, the sudents will give him a high which will make him confirm the students illusions about the teacher, and then they give the teacher even more high, and so on. Students go out of their way to idolize the teacher. But the merkabah is real, if it is Flower of Life, Melchizedeks Method, or something else. EDIT: I stopped to think a little, and you're right Xienkula. He was delutional from the beginning. There is no other reason it ended up like it did. The concept of doing ascension from visualizing light and love is delutional.
  21. Mer Ka Ba

For many years I did Melchizedeks Method, an off-shoot of Drunvaldo Melchizedeks Flower of Life. The founder, Alton Kamadon, started off as a great guy with an amazing integrity and wisdom. But after a while he got high on his mastership and the whole thing got corrupt. His followers say he ascended, but he actually died of cancer. ...is what I heard. Havent payed any attention to it the last years. As for Merkabah it is a living being. We use visualiztion to activate it, but after a while it gets its own life. The mistake Alton Kamadon did was to continue to pour visualizations into it. The Merkabah was activated allready in level one, but he just continued to visualize a lot of other things and it corrupted the whole thing. The Keys of Enoch, written by J.J.Hurtak, has a lot of information on the merkabah.
  22. ghostbusting question

I had a house ghost in one appartement once. We called him George. He was usually standing in a very grumpy position and stearing a angrily at us. Everybody could see him where he stood in one specific corner, day and night. Sometimes he went into the kitchen and broke some cups or plates, but he mostly just made some noice with them. He was not a happy and social ghost, but left us all alone. He just didnt like us much. Guess we had to many parties and loud music and made a lot of mess in the apartement. I think that it is a lot more useful to talk to the ghost and help it understand cooperation and the reality of their situation than to push them all into the light without any warning. Sometimes it is ok to help them into the light, but mostly these kinds of interventions are a really bad manipulation and shows a lack of respect for peoples choices. As if they dont have all the help they need. And we, the amazingly powerful, fantasticly intelligent and overly arrogant human beings know exactly what they need and we're going to force them into the light even if they want it or not. Ive worked with several houses and their ghosts and the trouble usually settles in a good and healthy way once you get the ghost to accept that there are other people living there too, and that the two worlds dont really collide. One ghost Ive worked with came to some friends of mine through an old piano. He gave them nightmares and really bad feelings. But once he realized that they wherent there to take him away or do bad things to him, he settled with his new situation and hasnt troubled them since. My friends has even forgot that he once was a problem and dont acknowledge the existance of ghosts anymore, hahaha. Most ghosts are not scary, bad or angry. They are just beings in a paralell, or more subtle world than ours. Even the scary ghosts are not really dangerous, just confused and unkomfortable with the situation. They just need to be heard and seen. Just like ordinary people

Oslo is the second most expencive city in the world...just so you know. Only rich Germans and Japanese have their vacation here. Or crazy backpackers not knowing what they are doing. Some Germans pack their car with food lasting two weeks, just to be able to have their vacation in Norway. It is worth it though. Our mountains are fantastic. Our best food is asian or indian Or you could try the national diet: Grandiosa. Which is pizza with nothing on it. But there should be some possibilities of cheap hostels around the city. You might find something around 40-50 euro a night.
