I would say the best way is to join a stillness retreat like vipassana or something like that. The eye opens when all the beliefsystems that block it has fallen away. It does not open by putting more beliefsystems in front of it, like you do with visualizations.

I think this is a very dangerous assumption that has very delutional potential In every culture there are people with their third eye open. Yet, in every culture they see different energy systems. If we start to believe that there is ONE correct and objective way things should look like, then we are no longer open. Our eyes shut down. There are similarites, yes, but no objectivity. I had a period of my life when all I saw was colours flying around and between people, plants, areas and everything. I was very spaced out and weird. Its a miracle I was able to keep a job! Your regular new-age healer would say this is an amazing opening of the third eye and aplaude me. But Im not sure about that. To me it was a great imbalance. And I suspect many new-age people who long for an opening of the third eye actually will provoke such an imbalance. Like a drug. I had to stop all qigong and spiritual practice for years and just focus on things that was grounding. Also, one more point I want to make regarding 3rd eye opening. In our regular new-age 3rd eye openings people spend a lot of time visualizing energy they way they think it would look like, and then suddenly they "see" their visualizations. I would not say this is a 3rd eye opening. It is just a manifestation of the visualizations. So again, if we believe there is an objective way things should look like, we will just start to manifest our visualizations. This will only keep our eyes closed and just enhance our delution. The best non-delutional way to open the 3rd eye, that I know of, is to do a stillness retreat.

Its easy! Like in most alchemy and other methods out there thought by extremely high level universal masters, you just visualize it!

The thing that "clicked" with me conserning Mantak Chia and all the other spin-off-methods was one sentence he said during the interview you posted Little1: "my students have grown up now, hahaha". Now THAT's an attitude to admire!

The people who use meditation like this is everywhere. In every school or path of meditation. They dont need to be dug up... they are everywhere Its human nature to try to escape our own pain. Meditation, food, drugs, all can easily be used as an escape. But Im sure a good meditation teacher would explain this to their students so they at least have a chance to see it when it happens to themselves.

I read a few weeks ago that fascia-wise the PC muscle is connected directly to the Rectus Abdominis(from the book "Body3" by Thomas Mayers). So a weak PC muscle will also give a sloppy stomach. You can see this in women who has given birth. Or in bodybuilders who work out their rectus abdominis till they scream and still don't get a flat pack. A strong PC muscle is good for so many more things. I dont have the time to list them all. I have heard of the Atlasprofilax. It was discussed here on taobums a while ago. I personally have experienced that the atlas corrects itself when other things is corrected. So I dont think the atlasprofilax is a cure-all-one-and-only method. I also have a friend who had good experience with the atlasprofilax. But now, after two years, his atlas is like it was before.
