I did too, but apparently you need a build-a-ufo-manual to make sense of THAT...

You get my props for humbly bowing out.. I'm sure there's more then one reason then the above, but hey. Whatever. Shall I roll the credits? -
Nice improvisation with a jazz/pop band from a black metal dude... first 2 minutes is a sound check.

Pandittree is my new hero. Not only for giving some opposition (this forum seems to be all agreement and not wanting to hurt others in the quest of truth), but because he expresses how he feels. Which, whether right or wrong, in this area, seems admirable enough. Yes, he rants. Yes, i'm sure he's wrong on some points. But the fact is - I can feel a resounding sea of truth - not at Stigweard, but at myself. It let me look at myself, like a mirror. thanks Mr.PanditTree. PS. Any response to my PM? Trying to fins alternative taoist schools/systems in my area, or at least online. I'd like several to comapre. -
Sup m0r, it's LS. Small world.

What is your definition of "Western Daoism"?
sherab replied to Stigweard's topic in General Discussion
For some, it is the western adaption of eastern methods, yet for others, it is a belief that asians are superstitious, and have distorted the message of the TTC, and yet to others, it is a mix of new age, and letting you do whatever you want because everything is the flow of Tao. Just what I think.. It is hard to pinpoint, since theres no real institution or history of it here. -
So what? I'm 19, and you shouldn't blindly believe anything you hear for the sake of "learning".

Tummo is one of the six yogas of tibetan buddhism. to actually get it, find a kagyu master, start doing your 500,000 accumuklations (ngon do) get through completion stage (1 million or more mantras) then get to completion stage... and then, from there... maybe you will do tummo. Average amount of time to get to tummo: 6+ years. Books will not teach you tummo correctly, and the point isnt body heat anyways.

Why, you can be taoist and be enlightened... after all, enlightenment and immortality are the same thing. No more rebirth = immortal... which is what enlightenment is. Removing ignorance, balancing the energies, and removing misdeeds... so no more rebirth

Glad you agree... imo, there is nothing wrong with being a part of a group.
