hi everyone, i wonder if people are interested in posting some of their own videos doing martial arts, tai chi, qi gong, playing music ... or of your teachers. i remember seeing some nice ones but never collected in one thread. dont worry about the "ego"-thing or if it is not good enough or too good. just to have more impression about people here ... and please everyone be respectful to each other, the sharing point in this should be the most important. no "who is better" stuff. i am just curious and ready to be inspired ... unfortunately i dont have any video clips online to start with ... but i look forward to see yours! what i have to offer is a improvised piano session i had a while ago ... looking forward, love jan.

Hi everyone, just found a nice clip about a Qi Gong teacher. Funny: his spiritual name seems to be also Lama Dorje (like the Master of the Kunlun - tradititon "Max") and he also seems to have practiced intensively buddhist studies, martial arts and qi gong on his path. He shows "Qi Gong powers" on the clip. As the master of the Kunlun tradition does on his homepage, too. I hope you like to clip and that it has not been posted yet - of course I do not know if the stuff showed is "for real" but maybe it can give some inspirations to you. I personally like the path the person seemed to have taken: he seemed to first have studies external Martial Arts moving to internal Martial Arts and "Qi Power" moving to buddhist studies. Then combining it all. Very interesting mixture ... Love and peace to all of you! Here is the clip:

jan1107 replied to 寒月 Hanyue's topic in General Discussion
hi, i was thinking if i should write or not since i really dont want to spend too much time discussing in the internet anymore. but here i go ... i will just share my experience with my of course limited understanding. altough i am not a sanyassin or osho - follower i added some of his meditations to my normal pratices some years ago. additionally i praticed some of his meditations on a silent retreat. those i praticed: 1. dynamic meditation ( quite a lot on a daily base for a few months ) 2. kundalini meditation ( just a few times ) 3. gourisanka ( just a few times ) differences to kunlun 1. dynamic meditation has 5 formal phases in which there are 2 phases that offer room to express spontanious movements, emotions, feelings. in kunlun there are no phases except starting and closing down. all phases for me come naturally and can include simliarities to different meditations i knew from the past. 2. kundalini: same like 1. kundalini has certain phases that you follow and within those phases are times where you can express yourselve. the other phases are meant to built up the energy or to become more aware of it. 3. gourishanka. before entering a state similar to kunlun you do certain breathing and a visiual meditation watching a blue, blinking light. after that you have kind of visions and your body might want to move. at least in my case. i think the difference in kunlun is that that there are less formal stages. you go with the flow and in your own rhytm (in osho meditations the rhytm is made by a music that changes or a bell that rings to say: move to next stage no matter what you are experiencing right now). some people prefer to have formal phases and for them it seems to be very good. there are similarities in kunlun to all of the above meditations for me. in kunlun it happened to me naturally. like sometimes this energy would let me do yoga postures, sometimes qi gong, sometimes special breathing exercices that i didnt know but enjoyed a lot, sometimes perceptions of other dimensions or whatever you want to call it ... there is no better or worse. just depends on what you want. i personally like that now i do not have to use many techniques anymore but still have powerful results. with seitai i have not much experience. a friend of mine is a teacher of this art and it sounds very good and interesting to me. but i know to few to give a comparison. it seemed to me it has lots of good exercices. for me personally being a more yang person the last years by doing so much training, practicing a lot it is very good now to just follow the flow and see how fast this leads to changes in my energetic perception. there is a constant vibration now even when i dont pratice. along with other things that amaze me. i knew spontanious movements. they happened naturally but not as strong as now. all of this doesnt mean other systems dont work! of course they do. most important things to see is with what pratices you resonate best to acces the universal filed of energy. since doing kunlun my other things work much, much better for me. it helped me to overcome a time in which i felt stuck in my other practices. transmissions are given in many systems. it mainly depends on how well you resonate with the person giving you the transmission. in my case the transmissions of max happen to really open up a lot of doors inside of me that i couldnt acces as easy in the past as i can now. for me personally kunlun really helped to bring major changes in my energetic perception. for me also very important is practicing the red phoenix meditation along. it seems like this gives the practice a lot more energetic potential and helps me to pratice wherever i am. i had to add: JUST REMEMBERED THAT THERE IS A GOOD BOOK OF A MALAYSIAN MASTER MANY KNOW. HIS NAME IS WONG KIEW AND HE DESCRIBES EXERCICES TO ACCES SPONTANIOUS MOVEMENTS, TOO. very interesting guy. hope i could help. and i hope i can leave this thread, too. otherwise it will be a .... love jan. -
must have been rainbow-day yesterday. one followed my car for a while. i was reminded by that reading your post. wish you a good day, rainbow-friend, jan.

very well said. that is what i had in mind today, too. stick to qi gong, tai chi ... or find a teacher like lin that has experience in both paths. good luck, jan. good to read about your experiences about the pathgate. that is maybe why i stood away from it intuitively quite a while ago. good luck, man!

hi, there is a lama in england who teaches qi gong, tai chi, wing chung, aikido and other martial arts. i dont know if he is any good as a teacher. i heard good things and pretty bad things about him but never met him and most likely never will because i am very happy with what i got. i wont post what i heard because it is not first hand and so find out for yourselve if he is interesting for you. before everybody will discuss if the stuff on the videos is possible or not ... i read in a forum that people called at his school and asked. the answer was as i remember that he only does it with energetically open students. if you want to find a traditional wing chung teacher i guess he his not the right one. he seems to mix, too, but again i do not know because i didnt check him out more closely. just check it out for yourselve if it resonates with you. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cnApFhvV7uA www.pathgate.org good luck, jan.

seriously this discussions really have been going on for so long now ... first kunlun came up and lots of people trashed it ... then the first ones went there and found it great ... then lots of people bought the book, went there and wrote very good things ... some still remaind sceptical and didnt go for it ... which is perfectly fine, too. many good teachers and systems on earth. one good for the one and the other good for the other. then many complained that there was too much kunlun in this forum. "too much kunlun!!". then the kunlunforum was opened and suddenly for a little while there was a big silence here ... then ... some of the same people that before complained about kunlun started threads again or put all their efforts in putting threads alive ... it is like your neighbour that lives a few blocks away annoyes you and you never met him. you just heard and read about him. then he moves away and suddenly there is that big emtpiness ... nothing to be annoyed with anymore ... just you ... what to do with that ... wun yuen gong ... you say you want to protect people from getting false impressions. seriously man .... i definetely respect your points of view and it is good to see both sides. but do not say you just do it for the sake of others. kunlun seems to be your personal obsession ... which is ok. you seem to be happy with your own system. go for it. i saw a video of one of your teachers you posted. he seemed like a good one. why are you so obsessed with max ... let it go and let the free energy flower into something else. if you feel occupied to post a lot of mostly negative things about kunlun then just say so but dont say you just want to protect the others. it seems like a political party ... better to make a great party and put love and energy in your own party than constantly pointing on the others. especially when you clearly see that people of the other party seem to be very happy with it. sorry wun yuen gong when i come across annoyed but sometimes i just dont understand. actually you are a very good mirror for me as everybody else here is . i had a "i dont like this" - thing with another teacher for a while. i came to the point for me that it doesnt matter. just a waste of energy. instead of waiting that the other teacher confirmed my expectations of him i moved on and put my energy into something that made me more happy. i went to this forum because i felt stuck. i have a long backround of dedicating myselve to the pratices i learned before. but for a long time i felt i didnt proceed the way i wanted. i found this forum. i came across kunlun and another thing. i didnt decide for kunlun at first because of the way it came across to me. but i liked the people that presented it patiently. then i decided to give it a try after a meditation time in india (which doesnt mean i left my other things ... they are getting strongly affected by kunlun) .i put away my doughts and went for it. later i travelled to new york to see max. since i started kunlun my inner flow comes back. so many great things happen. so i move on. no need to constantly discuss about the same old story ... peace jan. p.s. i have to add again that i personally think max is a great teacher and kunlun/red phoenix etc. are very good and powerful tools. even just by using the book i had very good results. namaste!

very nice to see some of you people in "real life". thank you a lot. i really enjoyed to connect another way. i see how people can easily missunderstand each other here because they never met. it is much easier to project your own stuff on others when you dont know them. once you see them there is more real connection, understanding ... even a picture helps. or music, or a video. great potential! would be nice if more posts will come. maybe next week i have the time to upload something else, too. god or whatever you name it bless all of you, jan.

thank you, truth! i saw this video already. very interesting stuff! i like it. thanks for sharing it!! love jan.

Is The Official History of Kunlun's Origin Bogus?
jan1107 replied to mwight's topic in General Discussion
max is a great teacher. i remember before meeting him i was also not so content with the presentation but there was always mantra who showed a lot of heart and effort talking about kunlun and cameron & august leo ... people i could relate to and who wrote enthusiastically about the great experiences they had on the workshops. so in my experience ... judge when you personally went to a seminar and met max. and i was really amazed what was going on with me and most other people in new york. i repeat that i never regret to travel so far just to go to the seminar. later when i lived with him here in europe just for 4 days i met a really humble teacher with so much knowledge that it could almost explode my brain. and it is not that i havent seen anything before ... i am on this path for many years and i have experienced my share (and still have to experience a hell lot, too ). he is like a living spiritual library and feeling his transmissions was a very powerful and opening experience for me. if you are interested in this way just go and meet max. he repeats in every seminar that you only need to see him once. the path of no more learning. why would he do that? he could easily (like many teachers do) stretch the system so you unfortunately have to meet him at least 10 or 20 or 30 times. he just doesnt seem to be interested in doing that. he loves to teach and to share. even in his private times i just saw him teach or receiving phone calls from close students who needed help. not to speak of the many times after the seminar he would still work on people. i dont even expect him to do that. just being on the seminar already completely changed my life. even just reading the book changed my life ... anyway ... my personal experience with meeting max is one of the most important spiritual experiences i have. the people i met around him like chris are good hearted and very relaxed. many people i saw spend extra time helping max because they like to support the whole thing. they just seem to like to support him. there are many good teachers out there. if max isnt the one for you because of the presentation just move on and find the right one to mirror you. just make a decision and move on. life is short. i would understand this repeating discussion if people from the seminars would guide it because they didnt like max or kunlun or the whole thing. but they are not here. i guess most people liked it and it changed their lifes. i met or heard many people who were totally happy with what they got. i heard many that were amazed about the new experiences they have acces to. or let us say they found something that helped them to help themselves effectively. and they are free. no more seminars needed. no more teachers needed. and there is a link from the kunlunforum to this forum so everyone can make his/her own opinion. love jan. actually i was taking a vacations from the internet ... so now bye bye again ... hope everybody will find his/her own happiness! namaste, jan. -
great video , thanks! dont know if this one was posted yet ...: http://de.youtube.com/watch?v=lM2mIPHPCMU greetings, jan.

looking forward to the book! ordered a few copies. kunlun is a powerful method if you take the effort and practice for a while. even without going to the seminar you wont be dissapointed. i never regret it. max is a great person and teacher and that is about all i want to add to this (repeating) discussion. i travelled a few thousand miles to a seminar with max and i would do it again. but find out for yourselve (or not). if you want to stick to something else - perfect. peace jan.

follow your heart! sounds very good! make your experiences, that is what the spiritual path is about. good luck!

sorry my friend ... i really am happy that you love dr. sha. it is hard for me to write some things anyway ... i do not want to destroy anyones beliefs. i just share my experience. i will just write what i experienced on a speech he made quite a while ago: after the speech he made he told people he will make a karma cleansing that night (about 900 dollar but that night was a special for "just" about 450 dollar). he told people to meet his student. this student would look with his third eye if people had bad karma issues to be cleansed or just not so bad stuff. the student told EVERYONE almost exclusively bad things. nothing was good at all. just that people have f.ex. murdered in their past life, been greedy and much more. he told more than one person that because of the bad things they had done they would get all kinds of deseases like: "...because of that you will have cancer at the age of XY" "...you will be chased by dark forces...." "...will have heart problems agt the age of YX".... "you will have kidney cancer at the age of XX" really exactly like that. i will never forget the fear in the faces of the people. they were terryfied. of course most of them made the cleansing. maybe some years ago i would have found some explanation for this kind of behavior ... "he is the master and he should know" ... today i dont do this anymore. in my opinion this behavior is dangerous and can really affect people in a very bad way. also he calls himself a grandmaster of i ging, tai chi, qi gong and feng shui. i never heard anyone claiming to be a grandmaster in all those disciplines. i will not write much further. maybde he changed since then. would be good. we are all human. some more, some less. but still human. i personally do not want to make saints out of people anymore. if they help you to help yourselve like dr. sha had in the case of beingbliss that is definetely very good. it shows how different perceptions can be and still everyone can be "right" in his world. i am sure he has good things to offer and i am happy for the people that heal themselves through him or his ideas. just be aware. i am happy i met dr. sha because he taught me to believe in myselve. and to listen to my intuition better and stand more up to that. if i would be there again i would definetely leave much earlier (as friends of me and many other people did). my personal judgement is that it is really not loving to tell people such things. it takes away hope and the trust in yourselve. namaste, jan. p.s. i repeat that i think the book sounds very good. i stopped reading it after the free lecture but what i read until then was good.

i think nobody of us is in the position to say "max, do this or that" ... he put out a really good method. you can buy the book that might completely change your life for a few bucks. i had great times using the books before going to the seminars. also there is this forum to ask questions and share, too. i dont think max owes any of us anything. he already did a lot putting out this method and sharing it. we should appreciate it and respect it in my opinion. some people take the step and go to the seminar. some fly there thousands of miles and save every penny. and many say it was worth it. in the old ways some students took big challenges to find a good masters. today it is more common to think the masters have to please our (fast changing) moods (i am not referring to anyone here). also i think the taobums forum is a big opportunity to exchange, too. i had great inputs here at the taobums before seeing max in person. love jan.

thanks man, awsome photos!!! i felt like writing a short review of "the time after kunlun europe". i myselve am practicing regularly with a very good friend and we will meet with the group soon, too. my friend is totally happy that she attended the seminar and we are having a great and fun time practicing together. many people wrote to me that they are happy to have attended the seminar. for me the time after the seminars is very intense. i really felt today that the amount of energy i feel inside must have maybe doubled since beginning kunlun. i can definetely say that people resonate a lot different to me and to "my" energy or the energy running through me. some of the things i experience now i didnt experience being in long retreats, zen monastary or practicing qi gong and martial arts intensively on a daily base. but i guess the previous training is giving me the roots to what is going on now (would be funny to think all that stuff was for "nothing" ... ). what happens to me now makes me stunned and it feels good to see that there is still such a lot of things to learn. i feel now i have a wonderful key to acces what i need to experience. most important of all: i am far more happy than before. laughing is a daily companion. i feel that this is just the beginning. just some small start. but already it makes me feel so much better! the things i didnt experience or had just small views after many years of hard training now seem easy to acces. naturally. also i feel connected to the kunlunnees in the states like the ones i met in new york. what an honor to meet max. i can still feel the connection to him. kunlun is such a beautiful spiritual treasure for me. i am looking forward to where it will bring me in the future. love jan.
