I couldn't make it better myself:

Hey, it perfectly explains my subway trip to work everyday. It's not so crowded where I'm standing.
-
Interesting... Does it still apply to living in the 21st century?

Thank you for your views, Mak Tin Si. To me, the taoist way of belief is just one of many. The Fu dog I have is a dog (I will have to take a picture tomorrow). The reason I chose it was because of a beautiful spirit inside, and the shopkeeper gave me a good price. Not many stones or statues are occupied by spirits, in fact it takes fate to find the right one for yourself. It cultivates by example and all the books around it. Worshiping it is like worshiping any spirit- pointless. Eventually one would have to look within to find their own truth and beauty.

Window of Opportunity: Q & A from a member of a Ruling Bloodline Family

I hear you. Still, would you think even if he revealed himself people wouldn't believe him who he is? And he is not the only saying there maybe a number of possible outcomes of the "future". Many masters say this because the human collective consciousness is so powerful. Nothing is certain. The way I like it. -
I just started using "View new posts" because of too many good posts being pushed out from the front page.

Fu dog (Foo dog). If there is a statue of a fu dog and no taoist around to look at it, does it still exist?
-
I have one big stone fu dog who has a beautiful spirit in it, and I meditate some times with it. Bill Bodri has a whole bunch of Buddha statues/stone etc. (over 100) and most of them have spirits of different power.

Stop using cayenne and sea salt, and switch to diluted baking soda + olive oil. Or buy a bar of Dr. Bronner's soap and brush with that. Or Tooth soap.

If it sounds too good to be true ... it probably is.
-
True. Some call it "Unconditional Love/acceptance" You have to have your "inner eye" open to see it. That also corresponds to having enough merit.

$10 from me.

You are right. The compassionate attitude would be for me not to allow them to joint the class, so all the other people don't have to suffer through constant interruptions and irrelevant, self-absorbed questions. A teacher has to have his wisdom-eye opened to see the correct path to take. The rational mind may see it cruel and unjust but they simply can't see the Mt. Everest of karma right in front of their face. Smile, Mak Tin Si, etc... We all have problems we need to work on. You are being very kind for pointing this out. Now that you did, time to work on your own.

Thanks Mwight. yeah, it's too much to bother with and my security is top notch- it has to be as I frequent lots of Russian forums/etc -
The irony is that every time someone comes to him for help with spirit possession, he always convinces them they should integrate it into themselves. My good friend had that experience with him, and was really hurt in the process. All he did was to use her later to get some information from the spirit about his future. *shakes head* He is not a bad guy, though. Just there are moments of being extremely irresponsible and careless.

MWight, you are right. Unfortunately, I use video/graphics software that Linux can't handle well with emulators. -
Actually, if it was me, I would decline, but depending on the energy of a person, the treatment could be free. It's a matter of tradition, and not a matter of money. The fee has to come from a ready student. If the student is not ready for whatever reason, then they are not ready.
-
From my healing and teaching experience, about 80% of the people who asked for a fee to be waived for whatever reasons were really screwed up mentally. They also have an amazing ability to disturb a class for other people.

Actually AVG is not as good as Antivir. Still, you Windows is safe if you set up your physical and software firewalls correctly. Get a router and a good anti-spyware/malware/virus/firewall software. I recommend Norton Internet Security 2009 as they fixed all their previous problems and now it's very fast and takes minimum resources. Read more about testing different Antivirus software and the results here. -
How about confirming with Mak Tin Si first if this is acceptable. It may not be just about money but about a person being ready with his heart... and his finances. I will donate if this kind of thing is appropriate.
