Well I think we could borrow a saying from Christianity along these lines although not of or in exact context, namely: "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you" Matthew 6:33 Thus and in correlation to certain paths and we could say something like, "first seek the core meaning and truth then kundalini shall be added to do its work in a spiritual context.

CT and others, I believe that in a certain way or analogy one could inter-change the K word with Dharma... having said that I think only a misled person could believe that the Dharma could be raised only for themselves.

I consider gender comment rules to apply to all members, thus not special treatment for any one member to be pointed out in the way it has been above? Having said that I will tend to point out any form of obvious pretense and or manipulation by any member that indulges in such and any member should feel free to do the same if they sense it from me or others. Of course we need to remember there are certain rules for pointing out certain things and unfortunately such rules or ethics may be crossed from time to time being that we are human, but imo and ime that does not mean we should be walking on egg shells concerning such matters, for if we are then that is forcing membership to be fearful of commenting on any forms of pretense or manipulation... which I hope is not the majority vote in favor of such from this sites management?

Her song reaches from above to below and from beyond to inside although such places are only apparent, She never mutes her voice for humans or anyone else for if it was she did she would be un-done and so would we, thus in hearing her sing the ears can not be broken but hearts easily can.

I also agree, except if or when something like that is used as a pretense

Where knowledge of things end true faith begins - for the "universe" per-se or of things is bound by knowledge which will never be enough in and of itself; also if a certain knowledge or to whatever degree of it is gained only for oneself then that will soon turn to lead.

"...in Buddhism these qualities are less conceptualised and obscure whereas the Hindu traditions personify these qualities into the God's and Godesses as a means of making it easier for us humans to connect to them, but they are still ultimately talking about the same thing if you get down to the root of it. The ultimate reality isn't always just an empty void, it emerges as a loving embrace of compassion or the Divine Mother, as well as the destruction of impermanence or Kali, as well as all the other ways it seemingly manifests." By Jetsun Is that so? It sounds like you mean well but you are also taking certain liberties on both sides of fence which is why I was saying earlier that such is or can be dubious either way. On the other hand if you, me, we or "they" define things in some type of universal view or teaching that is borrowing from other traditions and coming up with something of a composite, then what you've said above could be applied to same.

At the pure Spiirt level there is only one will, thus not many wills in divergent activities such as those taking place in spun-off and more limited levels and or realms, so whatever is letting things be done to "her" is not at the pure or quintessental level since if that was so then forget about unified Source staying or being of unified Source.

an anthro morphing into a what...?

Spirit (gives) unto Spirit, and in such giving is a command although not a heavy handed or forced command but an inherent and lawful action, thus forget about any stuff that is associated with attempted ego manipulation of kundalini, which is akin to attempted ego manipulation of pure Spirit - for it just doesn't work that way.

I occasionally make a foray into the Buddhist sub-forum which is somewhat dubious on my part... I also find it can be somewhat dubious when Buddhists make an occasional foray into the Hindu sub-forum... having said that I have no desire to control the forays of anyone going anywhere - although I do find it somewhat presumptuous if Buddhists related meanings to "emptiness" are bandied about here... just as Buddhists must find it somewhat presumptuous if Hindu related meanings to "eternal" are bandied about in their sub-forum...but what the hell as long as we shoot for "Right Speech"...

If you're asking...My answer is think twice before becoming a nudist, for what you save on clothes will have to be spent on sunscreen.

Umm, even a blind ground hog can find an acorn once in awhile and enjoy it, and only a fool would turn down a true oceanic gift horse no matter how it came to them! As for being holier than thou about not being holier than thou, that's odd... Btw, I'd give those fish, (as aspects of ourselves) no matter where they may be or not be one hell of a lot more credit than you do! Other than that you do have some points about the pit-falls of being misled or a fake.

Steve, The way I see it there is a problem associated with that line of reasoning in that the concepts of emptiness and eternal-ism are both rafts... (which granted have their purposes but are not to be attached to, thus various and profound like summations are more or less fair game and to be honest about it pending until one has the nitty-gritty, brass-tacks personal proof amounting to more than fine rafts, even though they can still not prove a thing to anybody else - (except and perhaps only at the level of mind powers which is not the point anyway!

yep, for an H2o related ocean - if that is the only type of ocean one is pointing to

Ok, btw I don't have a problem with "eternal-ism", as in "the soul of the soul".

"we get this impression that if we make certain changes we will transcend samsara overnight and find nirvana. It simply not true, as long as we live we are subjected to ups and downs, the struggles and pain, we live in samsara". By Steve Hi Steve and others, I pulled this quote out your earlier and fine post. Samsara as you are apparently using it above sounds like, or could sound like its something, someplace and or some-time that is solid in and of itself, or real illusion - but as we know, "samsara properly seen is nirvana" (or something very close to that quote per certain Buddhist teachings) thus there is really only samsara-perception and or complications to be cleared and not some kind of real samsara to reject for nirvana-perception to then dominate, btw, the historic Buddha described such as the "Wonder of wonders".

I'd say that sounds like a strange thing to say Taomeow considering you were giving us some good reminders about water recently... for there is an ocean inside an ocean inside an ocean and while swimming there one will not come across negative or positive water for its all one pure ocean. (and its ok to go skinny dipping once in awhile without all our baggage on)

some of those sages not only have clean mirrors but also movie cameras that playback a whole big scene un-edited.

perhaps, although and maybe - just to be definite about it

ultimately there is no such thing as negative energy just negative forms or types that energy may get bound up in.

NiveQ, There is this saying form the historic Buddha that you may have read? : Udana 8.3 "There is, bhikkhus, a not-born, a not-brought-to-being, a not-made, a not-conditioned. If, bhikkhus, there were no not-born, not-brought-to-being, not-made, not-conditioned, no escape would be discerned from what is born, brought-to-being, made, conditioned. But since there is a not-born, a not-brought-to-being, a not-made, a not-conditioned, therefore an escape is discerned from what is born, brought-to-being, made, conditioned". ...one of the things the Buddha also said about this was that in this sense (per the mahaparinirvana sutra) there is the self, which btw may sound counter to all the talk on "emptiness". (and which can then blow the "mind" with mind being of problematic definition depending upon its usage or meaning)

Seeker of wisdom did have a fair point on an important point thus I have edited most of my previous post #32 and offer apologies to RyanO for my side-tracking of that important point, namely the inspiration to seek and study.
