  1. No man's land

Ok, but that would be someone going somewhere...
  2. Hello SereneBlue, My hearing is shot from working around industrial equipment, my eyesight is ok for long distances and the time I have available to digest and or comment on long Tao Bums battles like these is limited, then again I'm looking forward to reading the next Terry Brooks novel; how about you or may I ask what are some of your favorite fantasy novels? (a subject which could be moved to a seemingly separate but still dependently originated string where it might be empty but hopefully not blank) Bob
  3. Ah, and the silly stuff the North Carolina guy sometimes says...
  4. The Prophet by Kahlil Gibran Eating and Drinking "THEN an old man, a keeper of an inn, said, Speak to us of Eating and Drinking. And he said: Would that you could live on the fragrance of the earth, and like an air plant be sustained by the light. But since you must kill to eat, and rob the newly born of its mother's milk to quench your thirst, let it then be an act of worship, And let your board stand an altar on which the pure and the innocent of forest and plain are sacrificed for that which is purer and still more innocent in man. When you kill a beast say to him in your heart: "By the same power that slays you, I too am slain; and I too shall be consumed. For the law that delivered you into my hand shall deliver me into a mightier hand. Your blood and my blood is naught but the sap that feeds the tree of heaven." And when you crush an apple with your teeth, say to it in your heart: "Your seeds shall live in my body, And the buds of your to-morrow shall blossom in my heart, And your fragrance shall be my breath, And together we shall rejoice through all the seasons." And in the autumn, when you gather the grapes of your vineyards for the winepress, say in your heart: "I too am a vineyard, and my fruit shall be gathered for the winepress, And like new wine I shall be kept in eternal vessels." And in winter, when you draw the wine, let there be in your heart a song for each cup; And let there be in the song a remembrance for the autumn days, and for the vineyard, and for the winepress". Om
  5. got my pills now

well I got my organic Acai and herbal anti-inflamation pills in the mail today... that should help the old guy. Cheers
  6. I could be dated, (lol) I'd guess being a "leading authority" doesn't turn him on much, me neither since I have enough on my own plate to deal with. ;-)
  7. got my pills now

So what is anyone else using for inflamation and how are the results?
  8. All exists here and now

that is also here and now
  9. Opinions on nessesity of Masters

"I did not ask for guidance from them, each time they smile, I smile, we bow our heads then continue on our paths". and why is that?
  10. He seems like a decent enough guy but apparently coming from a quasi-Buddhist position of some kind(?) yet posted here in the Vedanta section?
  11. You probably don't know (as you put it) because you apparently have not done the research.
  12. I don't mind a fishing expedition to a certain extent but you have enough information to land your own fish and eat it to... (btw someone relating to Osho with words around enlighenment and dropping mantra is also "powerful" as you put it)
  13. ? Are you playing some kind goofy role here? Who cares what I think, such is a very tiny grain of sand; while the subject matter is something bigger.
  14. What was said: "in looking into the eyes our own potential demon such is revealed..." simply meaning that at some point one will meet the potential 'eye to eye' inside of themselves of becoming demonic like and falling to it, or in overcoming it; further when we wrestle with our demon like potential the same reveals some of it ways and means to us, ways and means that are not very picky about or exclusive in their negative effect on human beings and thus can often be recognized. (aka "judge the tree by its fruit")
  15. that was still not said, (obviously) go fish.
  16. how sophisticatedly brain dead of you after the fact... btw one of his closest companions and lover or whatever he used her for, (?) killed herself after their falling out. (among countless other destructive relationships, thus rememberences of sitar stories don't mean a damm)
  17. in looking into the eyes our own potential demon such is revealed...
  18. Anamatva, I'm glad to see you have done some research.
  19. That would be kinda of funny except for the suffering he brought in the false use of various truthful teachings.
  20. Consciousness is Not Eternal

mind is some-thing or all-things, no-thing is not limited to mind yet it knows mind beyond any knowing of mind and is happy and the True.
  21. lose attachment, then is freedom, then is joy, then is dance. No-thing (same word with insert) points to loss of attachment or the freedom of not being stuck to things or the limits of identity as this or that thing, thus not nothing per se.
