I'd say that the quote quoted posits that your point is pre-empted...
-
Ok, here is a quoted sentence that is not the final truth according to Vedic teachings, thus it is a claim that can only be made outside of Sanatana Dharma, "The bald truth, the final truth, is ‘No world has ever been created’." So again this is not of Vedic teachings related to creation (preservation and destruction) or emanation...or that which springs from the Self as mentioned in the Chandogya Upanishad.
-
try the Chandogya upanishad which refutes the above summation.

Is non-duality actually a fundamental truth, or just another philosophy?Â

five is a right side up or upside down star, (with all the implications) -
one can't really have all this denial of the important Vedic/Upanishad teachings and still talk of any "Hindu" or Sanatana Dharma alignment with same. Thus another sub-forum should be created for this slant on things.

Hey man no apologies needed, feel free to follow whatever school you best relate to. I will find a few quotes that we can kick around but it will probably not change anything for either one of us...go in peace.

'that last post" was not written from a Buddhist perspective and also unfortunately glosses over or perhaps misdirects on the teachings of the Upanishads...yet I'd say it has a lot of very important points a major one being "soul" which is personal and of the potential of the "Son" or "Christ", who realizes the "impersonal/impartial" or Father through the power of the "Holy Spirit"...which are not exactly kosher ways to use and or stretch those terms but what the hell, I gave it a shot. -
apparently you have missed the well recognized teachings of several Satguru's on the matter or don't agree with them? Anyway such knowing is not mental knowing if that is what you are getting at and if so I agree...the Self knowing the Self is beyond any knowing that any degree of mind stuff can wrap itself around.
-
the Self knows the Self, that is all there is to it regardless of clever or all encompassing sounding pro or con concepts and words on the matter...

if "satchitananda" is an illusion to anyone then they can kiss their you know what goodbye... Thanks God for the joy without sorrow.

the '4th way" really screws people up, as if they and such are profound...

if one accepts that various forms of energy are real although in flux or going through changes yet are all ultimately from and connected through and to the Source of energy then there can be no unreality per-se, including any profound thoughts or shut down of thoughts about it which are also forms of energy bouncing around in someone's brain/mind which is also a form of energy etc...

so what are you getting at? Do you mean the variation was copied by the other group and did the other group break a music copyright?

How I Managed To Cure My Serious Kundalini Syndrome
3bob replied to Lush Lemur's topic in General Discussion
...thanks for sharing. I think Kundalini yoga studios on every other street corner in the USA is a gross and dangerous misuse of that yoga. (along with information given on the internet or books to jump right into it) Btw, I'd say there is only a very small handful of true masters of kundalini in the entire world that are qualified to teach and have students involved with it, In other words a fully experienced/Realized Satguru which is a truly rare, one out of billion beings. I'd also suggest you give referral and mainly basic info about the teacher that helped you instead of going into all the details here - which could also seemingly be misapplied? -

so when can we go with Matthew 6:33 King James Version (KJV): (?) 33. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. and just how fitting and universal is this saying if given some cross-correlation for all the far out, super dude or dudett immortal stuff? -
