Where do you think wise humans go to when their physical body dies, and depending on your answer is all that wisdom then lost?
-
...has such been so for you? Further, I wonder about these sayings of "impersonal", "impartial" and "unkind" because when such unconditional love takes place it has aspects of the personal and of kindness although not of mushy-gushy type. Om

same here, and if the post is deleted why does a trace remain?

"Ineluctably", frankly because of my limited education I had to look that word up, and it's cool. ...another thing about domestic cats, they may battle each other rather fiercly and wound each other but I've never seen them fight to the death, has anyone here ever seen that take place? (although in the wild bob cats and mountain lions may get into fights to the death with their own kind, I don't know?) (btw, domestic dogs sometimes fight to the death)

Hello Zhoupeng, I'd say energy masters in the sense that they don't waste any energy, and are deeply in tune or aware of energy around them while doing what they need to do in relation to same. As for power they are a little warrior/hunter which it takes many aspects of power to be. And no matter how tame many cats may get around the home when you look them eye they know who they are and what they are about, which includes the warrior/hunter spirit that is in them, backed up by their choice to use their claws and teeth or to withdraw same as appropiate.

...most cats are like little energy masters, and they don't take kindly to being victims like you mentioned. They can be a living example power in your own home.

ok, what i should have said is that you are apparently ignoring what many people here are saying even if you have read every post several times, although that's only my opinion. so what about a cat for you?
-
If you do not already have a cat go to the animal shelter and get one, and if you are fortune enough to really understand and be friends with a cat then you will learn something of power. (since you apparently ignore most people here...)

There is a secret about the flow... ...and what if the waves never weaken, just as the power that drives the universe never weakens?
-
Yes - Well said Marblehead - True freedom is the deepest joy that can not be corrupted, or cut apart!

Hello Santi, When you said flow is important it brought to mind for me a quote from Allan Watts which is not exactly in context to this string but I added some blue colored inserts to the quote below that I feel speak of an important or related tangent to this string: "...Consider life as a revolving wheel set upright with man walking on its tire. As he walks, the wheel is revolving toward him beneath his feet, and if he is not to be carried backward by it and flung to the ground he must walk at the same speed as the wheel turns. If he exceeds that speed, he will topple foward and slip off the wheel onto his face. For at every moment we stand, as it were, on the top of a wheel; immediately we try to cling to that moment, (or to the power) to that particualr point of the wheel, it is no longer at the top and we are off balance. Thus by not trying to seize the moment, (or the power) we keep it, for the second we fail to walk on we cease to remain still. Yet within this there is still a deeper truth. From the standpoint of eternity we never can and never do leave the top of the wheel, for if a circle is set in infinite space it has neither top nor bottom. Wherever you stand is the top, and it revolves only because you are pushing it round with your own feet." by Alan Watts

I'd call it his human backgroung that happened to be related to Hinduism which just as easily could have been related to Buddha-ism, if that term had been common. As I'm sure you know, such rafts serve a purpose but are not carried ashore after that purpose is served. Hanging around beating up on rafts is ultimately counter-productive compared to sailing on.

"The mundane isn't the problem..." S.Z. Actually the problem is that there is no "mundane".
-
Righto Blasto, Although orthodoxies (being the nature of the creature) come in every shape, form, and formlessness, including those in Buddhism. Btw, I'm sure he was very thankful for his "Hindu" background related teachers that helped him attain the many liberations on the head of a pin.

An interesting and convoluted game, one variation of it can be called "pin the tail on the donkey" and one is blindfolded when they you do it, thus no telling where the tail will end up.
-
Very well said Santi.

True, instruments can see into the sub-atomic particle levels, but this is still cutting things in half, again and again so to speak... but where the cuts end is the beginning of where instruments can not and never will see, for if they could then corruption could also reach there.

Yes, amazing! Thanks for the great link.

Thanks very much for sharing that Taomeow... your hard earned insights from experience! A moments reflection if you will, The infinite Power of relentless truth and its inherent intelligence is the force that makes the correct choice or takes the correct action without failure, we only make preparation to meet it which entails both learning and unlearning and a measure of faith to match up in principle to it on our small scale; thus if we always pass that test then it can always use us in whatever scale is needed. In other words Spirit then has us - together with it as that which we really are - and not that we have it for any motives or purposes separate from what it IS. Om

There is no amount of manipulative power at any level of the mind that exists in the universe that is enough to make anyone truly happy!! Only the deepest purity of Love and Spirit are enough, ...and that is seeking itself. Om

Righto, only absolute can know absolute, or only Tao can know Tao, everything else is to slow (so to speak) to keep up and spins out into time and space. Chapter 21 alludes to me of a catching-up if you will. (terms wise) Om

ok, but the little furry guy was fun. Buddhist practice ... well the Buddha gave direct witness to various god type beings, was that also an indulgence? beans and rice with some onions and tomatoes...
-
Blasto, What happened to your little flying furry guy? (replaced by the Hollywood model) Is your soul and human beingness just some type of metaphor or more than that? Anyway, some gods and goddess are also in fact souls, existing long before mankind as a different order of Beings than humans. (and not just as basic elemental forces) As for the gods that humans made up, well there are some of those also. Om
