  1. Masturbation and the Law of Attraction

Or are too unaware to notice, especially when it is part of the culture to overly sexualize people. One can offer the orgasm/ejaculate up to the goddess and see the pic as a representation of a goddess form.
  2. Masturbation and the Law of Attraction

these people are usually pretty young who are the objects of fantasy so there probably wouldn't be to much of a visual pic. but look at Britney Spears as an example. All that energy projected on an image of her in a fantasy multiplied by thousands of masturbators. To say there would be no effect on her is not correct. She had a very public meltdown a few years ago but has seemed to pull it together some. As a whole, celebrities don't seem to have their lives together otherwise we wouldn't have such odd things as entertainment news.
  3. Masturbation and the Law of Attraction

mutual consent wasnt considered here. This is a layered issue. I do think having fantasy sex in your mind involves intention. Diety yoga is something that involves sexual energy.
  4. Sifu Dan is an example of someone who diligently practiced qiqong and studied with excellent teachers who now teaches and heals. These three videos are meant for the beginner. I recommend his videos and if you live in Michigan he is a very accessible teacher. A good man. He has a tremendous chi field. I have benefited personally from his long distance chi transmissions for healing. s http://www.youtube.com/user/DevelopYourEnergy#p/u
  5. Seth Ananda please teach me about kundalini

I used to take a hand held set of chimes with me when I taught until the cat chewed up the mallet. They look like this. http://www.amazon.com/TreeWorks-Chimes-TRE420-Wooden-Mallet/dp/B003EUMPCE/ref=sr_1_5?s=musical-instruments&ie=UTF8&qid=1301932484&sr=1-5 It's a great way to show and feel increasing sensitivity to energy. I stand at the back of the student and hit one of the chimes and move the chimes up and down the spine. Usually from about 6-12 inches away. Most will start shaking and bouncing as the sound waves hit their energy fields. Some actually have had a little orgasmic burst. Before the class they never would have believed they could respond to energy. This really helps show them that they have developed sensitivity and it's not just their mind playing tricks on them. I use it to show them their progress. Some like one specific chime note over another. Some like to "steal" the chimes on break and run up behind their friends and make them shake with a surprise chiming. I do this after about 4 hours or so of training. energy is so much fun. s
  6. Should some arts/info remain secret?

Yes. I thought so too. It is the practice that one does that prepares one for higher learning and the ability to understand what is learned. Much can't be absorbed, even if someone was to tell you straight to your face, unless the ground has been prepared with practice. Many people ask to satsify their curiousity but have no intention of acting on the info. It was a hard lesson for me to learn. I have people come back to me 3-4 years later to tell me, "now I understand. I didn't get it back then. Didn't seem important at the time." I once heard a story about little kid and his dad standing on the platform waiting for the train with a big piece of luggage. The little kid said, " I will pick it up and carry it, Daddy." The father said, "not yet son, it is too heavy for you to carry right now." I can't make people absorb stuff, no matter how much I want, until they are ready. s
  7. Chi Kung Q&A with Sifu Dan Ferrera

Any worthwhile teacher continues to study until they die. There is never an end to learning even after you die. What I don't know about this Universe and how it works is far bigger than what I do know. Teachers know that about themselves. Also I always recommend good teachers and healers to others, especially the ones I have experienced personally. I get transmissions from Sifu Dan because they feel good and they are very helpful. Dan knows his stuff and we do trades. He is a very generous and loving person. I have read here enough people ask for basic explanations of chi gong so I thought I would share Sifu Dan's videos. He is authentic and a great healer. I know I don't fit into your paradigm about what teacher/healers should and should not do but I am sure out there in the world there are many who do. s
  8. Seth Ananda please teach me about kundalini

When men learn how to sit in Consciousness/Shiva...it becomes quite a blissful experience for women to sit with them. Pure consciousness delights the energy of shakti and draws her in. s
  9. from one of my teachers, Sifu Jenny Lamb: At this moment in time, what we saw happen in Japan should be a mirror to all of us. How fragile our lives are. No matter how much you possess, how powerful you are or how famous you want to be, everything can be destroyed in the wink of an eye. A catastrophe can happen to anyone at any time. As an individual, we should not let the grief or fear dominate us, but should let it help to liberate us from greed, hatred and delusion. We should learn from the phenomena of nature to restore our spirits with compassion and loving kindness, to share every moment we have with others, whether they are human beings or a life of another kind. We should work together to protect our planet with love and wisdom, and learn to share and live together in peace. May this disaster awaken a resolution to be a better person living in the world and take on our duty to make a great contribution to humanity! May those who lost their lives be reborn into a better world! May purifying our hearts be our primary practice, to illuminate our world! http://www.easterninternalarts.org/
  10. I would second that. Great pain reliever but jeez can we talk about hallucinations and visions...o.m.g. I could not believe it was uncontrolled and it is given quite often to the elderly. I have used it for pain control myself and found out these wild side effects on my own. s
  11. I work for Kaiser too. I once had problems with my hand getting stiff and numb about 4 years ago not related to surgery though. I went to my acupuncturist who put needles in all the joints (knuckles) of my hand. That was about 14 needles. No pain since then. s
  12. I have looked through the other responses. I can speak as a nurse, medical qigong practitioner, energy healer, and hypnotherapist. Less than 30 days post op you will still be having significant pain but it should be lessening over time. If not, then you should be talking to your doc. Tell us how goes your post op rehab. Was that prescribed or were you pretty much left on your own? If you are not going through a rehab program for your shoulder that borders on criminal. The exercise protocol link below will kind of give you an idea of where you should be and what you can be expected to accomplish at the stages of your recovery. Exercises Regarding brownie vs Vicodin. Personally, Vicodin doesn't affect my chi level at all, doesn't make my pain go away but just makes it less noticeable because I am kinda high and apathetic. Never used marijuana for pain myself but it is very good for pain. Colorado is using medical marijuana now. So response, as you can see, is individual. Acupuncture, medical qigong, hypnosis, etc. can all help to some or great degree. I would just find something that works. Does your wife know how to do Reiki? (Sex/orgasm is also a great painkiller and healer.) That can help relax you. Remember that when a shoulder is replaced, muscles, tendons, nerves, other tissues are cut. It takes a while to regenerate so that is why you have numbness. Nerves take a while to regenerate but things like reiki can really help because it stimulates increased blood flow which encourages healing. If you can't run energy have someone run it for you. I have often run different orbits for clients as they lay on the table for them because it seems like the body needs a 'reset'. Or you can have someone long distance do it for you. As far as addiction goes, nurses have been trained to be discerning in giving pain meds. If you need it for pain control, you need it. If you want it for other reasons lets talk about other alternatives. Pain is really subjective. Can you make up a pain scale for use? For example, 1-10. One being pain is almost non-existent and ten being OMG I am gonna die. Then assign what will you use at what level for the pain. 8 would be vicodin time (don't want to let the pain get up to a 10 because then it is hard to get control/ahead of it.) for example. 1-4 would be Reiki, qigong time and 5-7 maybe MaryJane's time. Figure out which is bearable pain and stay around that area. Pain that gets too severe and chronic will disrupt the immune system and retard healing because natural steroids in the body get released because it perceives the pain as severe stress and threat to the body and ignites the Fight or Flight response. People in severe pain have been known to go into shock and die. I tell you that just to give you some perspective on the continuum of pain. Just some thought, s I just wanted to add you can also alternate pain relief choices. For example, take Aleve or some other anti-inflammatory about an hour after you take the Vicodin so you are taking your pain meds in a stairstep type of approach. The strategy is to eventually be on primarily the less powerful meds with using the heavy duty stuff for breakthru pain. Also know that the more tense you are the more pain is perceived as painful.
  13. Michael Lomax

I am about the third of the way through the Light Warrior book. Love the story. People miss a lot by not letting the story speak to them. Much teaching and transmission happens in a story. They probably don't think it's true. I keep trying to write my story but.... I share some similar experiences as you do. Not the exact story but similar realizations and understanding. s
  14. Michael Lomax

I would like to come someday too. My form ain't the greatest, ask Snowmonki LOL, but I can really tap into the juice and let it flow. Sometimes I have found that using exact form is a hindrance to flow and I let the energy create the form. s

Try this: The Tibetan Book of Living and Dying: A New Spiritual Classic from One of the Foremost Interpreters of Tibetan Buddhism to the West http://www.amazon.com/Tibetan-Book-Living-Dying-Interpreters/dp/0062507931 It's very readable and written with Westerners in mind. It's on my shelf and itsa keeper. s
  16. getting older

Hi sirius, I don't have time to read all the responses so I am just sharing based on your post above. I know what you mean. As I get older the Yin nature gets very strong. As an older woman I crave Yang for balance. Men as they grew older get more Yin. It makes for interesting relationships. I worked with Dr. Glenn Morris the grandmaster of Hoshin and KAP, before he passed at the age of 63. His last wife was about 24 when he died. Relative to each other she was much more yang than he was. I was more yang than he was he also felt. He said he always felt energized after spending time traveling with me. It is an individual choice here but young women are more yang in comparison to older men which might account for some of the attraction between the two. This is the same for older women and younger men. Dual cultivation can be fun and can be done in a non-sexual way if that is more advantageous to you. If this is not attractive to you I would suggest you spend time around young men and women where they are very active. What you have to offer is that you are an elder with an elder's wisdom of a life lived. The good ones will crave that from you for balance. You have a lot to offer. Dr. Morris used to tell his students, "Take once, Give back twice." It is something to be discerning about. Dr. Morris used to ask me to take him home early when he was around really yang males for awhile for it exhausted him. It is all about balance and what works best for you. My recommendation besides all the health, good nutrition, meditation and physical stuff that should be common sense is this: Look now at cultivating yourself as an elder and leaving a legacy. namaste, Susan
  17. Michael Lomax

That was very helpful. Thank you. It would probably be OK with a good portion of our students, but some, not so much. s
  18. Michael Lomax

Hi Susan, Mjjbecker's description says it all about the facility but to the other part of your question, I don't know if I have met any nicer folks anywhere; just fantastic vibrant good people. It was like meeting up with old lifetime friends - the good ones - the ones that you keep. I had a whirlwind trip with almost no rest but had a fantastic time. Got to sample real London Pub cask ale (Thanks, P.), yummm. Brett and I met some years ago and we have become fast friends. We have actually met twice over in his part of the world and spent some quality time together. He has been one of the brighter, sweeter lights on my journey. Definitely someone I can depend on to be always straight with me. Yes, good quality people over there...the ones you keep. I would heartily second that. Good on you, Susan
  19. Michael Lomax

I just downloaded the book onto my Kindle. I love reading about people's stories. Did you have a good time in England with Brett and the rest? How was the site you had for practice? Would you recommend it for a weekend group? Namaste, Susan
  20. Keep Getting Horny During Meditation :(

When the kundalini began to rise through my body. It spread out thru the chakras, dantiens, meridians, nadis, into the cells, into the places in between my cells. It filled my bones, my organs, my breath... My kundalini process and meditation was ALOT of fun and very pleasureable. YMMV s
  21. Keep Getting Horny During Meditation :(

I had lotsa spontaneous orgasms in my early days. Sometimes they were continual, 24/7. They happened so much my body would start to ache from all the pelvic rocking. I would stay in my apartment because I didn't know when one would "go off". Eventually, I learned to channel and diffuse that energy through my whole body and then offer it to the universe and the earth for healing purposes. I had time to figure that out by my self because the orgasms would last for hours and hours. Good thing I had no job and I had only a couple of classes at art school. Now, almost 20 years later, those days are long gone...i kinda miss them to tell you the truth. Now, in it's place the whole universe has a blissful hum that I can feel in my body 24/7 which I can amplify or diminish at will. love that, s
  22. Internet Generation and Tao Training

Much love and gratitude to you Sloppy. You have great insights. It is people like you who drive me back to my teachers of many different ages to learn how to be of greater service to people just like you and NOT like you. One of them is still in his 20s as he trains me to be wise in my finances. Awesome experience. I can't spend much time here these days to be here because I am in transition but great thread. s
  23. Has meditation really changed me?

this gentlewoman asks: What do your family and close friends say and think? s
  24. Kunlun Book

I can validate this as I was sitting with her in seminar a couple of weekends ago. She was adamant to us that her qigong was about spiritual growth and that good health was a side effect. You must look deeper in awareness. love her... s

I just want to add, any teacher who helps, guides, or awakens a person's kundalini has a LIFE LONG responsibility to that person. This is my decision. Even if that person were to come to hate me, and that has happened, I will never turn my back on them. Sometimes they return and sometimes they don't. That is part of the responsibility. If you can't handle that then step away. s
