  1. Thanks for the reply Michael, Sounds like both practices would get along fine done at separate times. I'll keep a look out for any workshops in the UK Andy
  2. Hi Folks, Must say I'm pretty intrigued by whats been said about Stillness Movement Neigong and I'm thinking of getting the book to get a taste of it. I enjoy vipassana meditation and wondered if the two practices were similar or compatable. Best wishes Andy
  3. Verdesi, SFQ...guidance?

Hi Astral, For the reasons given already I reckon stay away from Verdesi, he's always changing his far fetched pitch to attract new followers, read carefully anything about him on the net before investing youre time and money. Just a suggestion if youre interested in powerful mystical paths with love, morality and compassion as the basis then you might look up the six yogas of Naropa. This series is taught widely by many authentic tibetan lamas, tho it is often taught in a three year retreat. Many similar practices, that have signs of accomplishment, are taught by the palyul Buddhist orginisation at summer retreats, all the infos on the net. Best wishes Andy

  7. acid/LSD question

Hi Hyrdo, Please be very careful with LSD, mushrooms are a better choice and can be a much smoother experience. If you choose to use hallucinogens then only take a very small amount first to gauge your sensitivity and make sure your experience is in a safe quiet place with someone you trust. If you're after spiritual experiences that will blow your mind, then why not try a retreat. A ten day vipassana retreat wouldnt disappoint or any spiritual retreat would be worth considering. Youd have a much cleaner/higher experience this way and it would most likely enliven any spiritual practice that you do. Just a suggestion Good luck Andy
