  1. Do you have a source for this? This sounds absurd. This is a classic rhetorical device: you take a criteria, elevate it to the point where its required to belong to an elite class (in this case, Taoists), and condmen those who disagree with you to a non-elite status. It sounds to me that just because *you* like astrology you elevate it to a point where people who don't agree with *you* aren't real taoists but *fake* taoists. This is the ultimate test: does it work? I suppose most people have not had a Chinese astrology reading done by an expert, and thus, most of us will be unconvinced.
  2. Well, I'm intolerant of intolerance toward intolerance... Ah, heck, I give up. It will be interesting to hear your take on the Lama Dorje phenomenon. Lin, Good points, but can you feel my headache? Sure, we're all one, but there is a separation. I can see my thoughts, but I can't see your thoughts. I feel my headaches but I don't feel your headaches. Maybe on some philosophical level there is no separation, but how does one make that more than a nice theory?
  3. Uhhh... Can I get the Cliff's Notes Version?
  4. Reptilians?!

This makes me think of the book, Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain. It says the secret to drawing isn't how well you can use a pencil, but how you look at things. You break images down to shapes, angles, and lines. I've always thought it would be cool to learn to draw, and at the same time, break down your perceptions.
  5. Practical Observations of Daily Practice

Do you taichidos do anything with the life gate?
  6. Smile, Trunk, et al. What do you feel makes Kulun different from the other practices you've tried? Is it the procedure? The transmission? Did you just reach a critical mass on your own? It's interesting because people seem to say that Kunlun is succeeding to a greater extent than (given the breadth of experience of the Bums) almost anything else. Do you also feel that Kunlun will give the same wisdom, as say, prolonged attention to the workings of oneself (as can be case for Vipassana)? Kunlun reminds me somewhat of Sifu Wong Kiew Kit. He teaches spontaneous chi kung and people have strange reactions at his seminars (yelling, throwing selves against walls, etc.). His techniques for spontaneous chi kung are deceptively simple--- let everything go and just flow.
  7. Thunder and Lightning breathing or Meditation

Wait...is this the same Sean Denty who said Kostas Danaos was the real deal? Or who thought Mantak Chia was the real deal? Or who thought Indian yoga was the real deal? Or who thought Tibetan Buddhism was the real deal? I suppose Foundation is the real, real no kidding I mean it this time no seriously deal.
  8. Reptilians?!

This is nice armchair philosophy, but what is this actually based on? Have you had these experiences, or is this just idle speculation?
  9. Reptilians?!

What in the heck are you talking about? You're just putting a bunch of words/ideas together that make no sense. Sort of like crossing the axis Mundi of Edenic proptoplasm getting into the ventricular ambiance of the masses!!! Or is this some secret speak to throw off the Reptilians? The whole thing about this Reptilian-conspiracy-Freemason nonsense is that its just another ego trap to keep us oriented to the external world rather than cultivating the internal world. There is a conspiracy, but its not about a new world order: its about habits and patterns of thought that keep us trapped in our own illusionary universes. When you've looked at your own mind long enough, you don't need KA KA brain junk to weird yourself out.
  10. Reptilians?!

You're Reptilian meat, that's for sure.!!! HA HA HA! I mean SLITHER! SLITHER! SLITHER!
  11. Kunlun Level 1

NOOOO! Not a reptilian eye! NO! Help! Reptilians... must become their friends... before they... conquer earth... Just kidding. Its good to share your experiences, goes into the online Kunlun data bank.
  12. Reptilians?!

Black triangles? Advaita zombies? Circular houses destroyed for square housed war mongers? Come on people! What happened to common sense?

  14. max and the SF kunlun workshop

Great questions. I would hate to see them swallowed up by the infinitely long posts (Do we really need to quote a fifty page post in order to respond to it? ).

Here seems to be the story so far: Max says some crazy things (reptilian races, immortality) but people are having actual reactions to him. However, whenever some one says something bad about Max, there are ad hominem attacks on the person. Would a Bodhisattva's students react to criticisms of their teacher this way? I have seen a lot of talk about energy, but little to no talk about developing compassion, virtue, or spiritual wisdom (same goes for the movie and the website). It all seems to be about power and impressing people with how much power some one has. And if some one disagrees, it is not handled with skillful means, but like a bunch of schoolyard bullies. That's what ego does: it lashes out if something disagrees or challenges it. Just because some one has power doesn't mean either 1) they are truthful or 2) sane. Max may be a miracle worker, but that says nothing about presenting a valid spiritual path. Mantra and Cameron, if Max is the real deal, who cares if people criticize him? The word will get out. You're reaction to criticism makes me, a neutral observer, think you have something to hide. Huh? This is the point of being online: to get all views. No one has time/money/resources to see all the teachers out there. We need to weed out the crooks and the crazies and find the gold. You only do that by sharing information, bro. I would like some one to explain about these reptilian races!

Reptilian races? Like David Icke "Children of the Matrix" reptile races?
