Holographic? Quantum Mechanics? Buddhism? What is real and what isn't?

'What is real what isnt?' Who is asking? is the answer. Really . -
This is something I was reminded of yesterday and decided to represent this very meaningful idea of ubuntu .As this idea of interconnectendness needs to be deeply rooted in humanity as a medicine for our well being. Ubuntu {African philosophy) : 'I am becouse you are'- as a root of humanity interconnectedness . 'Ubuntu is a spirit of helping each other, a colourfull practise of putting compassion into action'- Credo Mutwa Personally I feel that this is so important in many ways. Here is a nice video about Ubuntu: http://www.globalonenessproject.org/videos/Ubuntu I am becouse you are. Something I have been feeling deeply recently is that we are coexistant and dont exist for individual satisfaction only. Paying attention and developing healthy relationships with everything and everyone is our responsability and very important. The world is our larger us. We are on the earth to be humans is something to ponder. We are never alone. Even if we make friends with the sky or the earth. Any similar thoughts and input anyone?

Monks and Priests have the easiest life on Earth?
suninmyeyes replied to tulku's topic in General Discussion
True I know few women too who are nuns/sadhus including my mum and very happy about it. I also know one woman who did it as an escape from arranged marriage and is now in her forties and not so happy(actually very depressed) as she only now realsise that she never wanted to be nun forever but it is to late to give up in her opinon as she runs a yoga center and holds a big responsability and etc. Being priest/monk in life can be considered easy if this is a chosen path where every atom of a persons being says :yes this is what I want to do, if not some conflict is there. -
Everything, So what is your thing spiritually? Do you have a practise or like reading about philosophy or exploring or something else? What I am saying employ what you read about , put the philosphy into action. It is like a recipe for living worth expirimenting with. Bubbles explained better than me about benefits of spiritual practise.

You could do that too. What I meant is that with constant practise you learn to follow your intuition well, and clear the mind not necessary through thinking but on psychic level - that is why I reccomended taking on a constant practise daily of any technique of your choice and doing it. Applying what you learn in daily life. This plus introspections is the medicine that does wonders. Also maybe do a lot of physical work or and spend long time daily outdoors could help you. It just feels as the right antidote to your thinking. Sorry if I am totally wrong and sound as if I am talking nonsense. Just to let you know that this is something I used to struggle with till my early/mid twenties and it really was a big problem, for me. Untill I took some spiritual practies up and first time in my life did something consitently and still doing it daily .It changed my life totally ,to unimaginable extent. However you may find something different that snaps you out of your current mindset. Best of luck, sun

Sequential Energy Center Activation, Balancing, & Dimensional Expansion

it was exciting to read this thread -
Take one thing at the time and concentrate on it .Keep it in mind as a must. Choose a practise(qi gong ,meditation..) and stick to it no matter what for 6 months at least.Just always keep it in mind as a must at least for some time a day. If you have practise ,then practise more. Practise through everything like: being fidgety, bored, fed up, stressed, worried, happy, scared... This will give you a lot of motivation, focus and fuel in a long run . I think spiritual practises are great and such helpful as a tool especially when done daily. It is incredible tresure , I am big fan. You can even learn how to remove psychic blocks/obstructions without taking only a psychological route. Otherwise, either you need to really get fed up super properly with the current state of affairs in your life and then you will get motivated or you start paying attention seriously or do whatever you are doing , but keep it in mind as an idea -that way you are planting a seed that will sprout at some point, but you may have to wait for a while though.

Dont make anything out of it or even attempt to do so. Leave it as it is. Dont pick it over and over again, giving it life. I think Apech reccomended meditation on emptiness which is a good suggestion. What you could do IMO is find out why is this happening and what can you do about it.

I saw this chord severing recently around TTB and am not familiar with the concept in this kind of context. Is it something akin to passing through the gates of fear, psychological and emotional ,spiritual detangeling ? Or? What are the chords? How could someone severe it physicaly? Thanks

I have posted a link of the same film in a book forum some time ago. Love this film and Ki duk Kims films in general (than again I like a lot of arthouse ,independent films) . I understand it to be a meditation on life ,time, impermanency/change and stillness, taking responsabilty for own actions and life. Definetly not just beutiful. Unless my version of beuty is much different. The only thing is mistreating of the animals in the film that I might have slight problem with.. -
Ayahuasca master plant teacher for humanity
suninmyeyes replied to Jetsun's topic in General Discussion
Thanks for sharing Jetsun! Most interesting to read. Here is article I have just read about murder of 14 shamans in Peru, investigation in process.. http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2011/oct/06/peru-shaman-murders?newsfeed=true Peru shaman murders investigated Peruvian government sends team to remote Amazon region to look into killing of 14 shamans, allegedly at behest of local mayor reddit this Dan Collyns in Lima guardian.co.uk, Thursday 6 October 2011 18.31 BST Article history Peruvian shaman Pedro Tangoa Peruvian shaman Pedro Tangoa performs a ritual involving the hallucinogen ayahuasca. Some suggest that the use of such psychoactive plants may be one reason the murdered shamans were targeted. Photograph: Reuters The Peruvian government is sending a team of officials to a remote region of the Amazon jungle to investigate the deaths of 14 shamans who were killed in a string of brutal murders. The traditional healers, all from the Shawi ethnic group, were murdered in separate incidents over the last 20 months, allegedly at the behest of a local mayor. No arrests have been made over the deaths, which took place in and around Balsapuerto, a small river port in Peru's vast Amazon region on its northern border with Ecuador, Colombia and Brazil. The prime suspects, however, in the disappearance of one victim and the murder of another are the mayor of Balsapuerto, Alfredo Torres and his brother Augusto. The two men were named in a report from the public prosecutor's office in the nearest town of Yurimaguas, which said seven of the victims had been shot, stabbed or hacked to death with machetes. Local people identified all of them as curanderos or native healers, said the vice-minister of intercultural affairs, Vicente Otta. The Roman Catholic church in the area has reported the death of seven other shamans whose bodies have yet to be found, Otta said, adding that territorial disputes and political disagreements also pointed to the mayor being "one of the instigators of the slaughter". He said that the murder suspects had sought to "legitimise the killings " by blaming the victims for the high level of infant mortality in the area. Torres has denied the allegations in interviews with local media. Calls to his office went unanswered. The public prosecutor's report also details the testimony of a survivor of one attack. Bautista Inuma was mistaken for a shaman and received gunshot wounds and had an arm hacked off before he managed to escape. Roger Rumrrill, an expert on Peruvian Amazon cultures and a government adviser, said some of the victims' bodies were thrown into rivers, to be devoured by piranhas and other fish. He alleged that the mayor, who is an evangelical Christian, ordered the killings on hearing that the shamans planned to form an association. He said the mayor's brother was known in the area as a matabrujos or witch killer. "For Protestant sects, the shamans are possessed by the devil; a totally sectarian, primitive and racist concept," he said. Shamans in the Peruvian Amazon use psychoactive plants such as the jungle vine ayahuascafor spiritual ceremonies. As early as the 16th century, Spanish and Portuguese missionaries described its use by native people in the Amazon as the work of the devil. "Until now the death of 14 curanderos who are the depositaries of Amazon knowledge wasn't worth the attention of the press," Rumrrill said. "That's an expression of how fragmented and racist this country is. A centralised country which continues to look at its interior with total indifference." The National Institute for the Development of Andean, Amazonian and Afro-Peruvian Peoples estimates that there are around 330,000 indigenous people in Peru's Amazon region, about 1% of the country's population of more than 29 million. Gregor MacLennan, Peru programme coordinator for the NGO Amazon Watch, said: "The death of these shamans represents not just a tragic loss of life, but the loss of a huge body of knowledge about rainforest plants and the crucial role shamans play in traditional medicine and spiritual guidance in indigenous communities." -

If you are to do and achieve anything in life you must have power, so it is necesarry. Well mesured and promptly chanelled for the individual and universal wellbeing. Keep the life going on. Physical manifestation starts in the thought, so it is good to think well as to what kind of life a person would like to live becouse that is exactly what s/he will give birth to.
