  1. free will is worthless

Ramesh says in the video is that the free will exists but the results of the outcome of the actions undertaken due to free will are beyond our control -therefore free will is worthless. Here is what Huang Po ( Chinese sage)says in similar tone: 'If you would allow all matters to take their own course throughout the day as if you were to ill to bother, without specified desire to be known or unknown to others, with your mind like a block of stone that mends no holes, then the Universal Law would deeply impregnate your understanding.' Personally I like this type of passive approach, even while leading an active lifestyle .
  2. free will is worthless

Hi zanshin, In my life hope has proven to be the devil himself. I dont want to hold anything.
  3. free will is worthless

You are on the wrong web site lerner. Try some of the SM ones might have better rate of succes.
  4. free will is worthless

Thanks for the link Lucky. It seems that he has some adultery charges too after him. Another one. Oh well.. Just to clarify I am not his follower, just agree with some of the things he says and thought this could be provoking enough topic to hear some interesting opinions. What I underlined. He is not denying free will ,he is saying it is there but it is worthless. There is a difference. For me free will is worthless in larger symphony of life, on a different note free will is da king.Queen that is. All notes are important and if they are not there the symphony wouldnt be a symphony as there would be a note missing. Dont know if this analogy makes any sense to anyone.
  5. The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali

Fancy stuff ! Good idea Steve. Yoga Sutras were a big inspiration at some point of my path.
  6. Calm Spaciousness

I am doing sound meditation too! Nice to hear of your practise de paradise. That is may main thing daily already for almost 13 years. The way I do it is by listening to the sound within. That is all. If there are more sounds , I pick one and stick to it. Music can be heard (literally) when one starts entering more of a heavenly levels of being. Listening to where the sound comes from. I love it. So much can be learnt from it. It is like learning a new language and reading the life by listening to it(sound wierd but thats how I feel) , becouse everything that exists is made out of sound patterns . Dissolving beyond sound and ALL mainfestation as you mention, that is a cement wall indeed.hahaha I agree that one needs to be in a good meditation state already, so some other stuff , maybe some energetic practise is good to do before or as well for most of people. Or finding someone who can make 'you' hear the sound , transfer the ability - there are practicioners who can do that.
  7. I dont know as I havent reached enlightement ,dont really buy into a spiritual concepts of 'reaching' or attaining in general. I do believe life is unique and everything is possible, the only rule is that there is no rule.
  8. How do you do a all-nighter meditation?

Just sit and sit and sit through anything and than sit some more .Keep on sitting like this till morning.
  9. How do you guys do it?!?!?!?!

Hello ARAB, When I was 18 I sold the diamond ring I was given for birthday and went on the road. I had a crazy time, enjoyed myself and would like to think have lived my life quite fully without so many regreats. For me enjoyment was always first, feeling comfortable, there is and will not be any must in my life. Everyone is uniqe and has their own way. My advice is to follow your heart , that is the only security there is.
  10. Sensation of rotation during meditation.

Informer, I am not sure how to formulate this , but I will try. First dont try and spin anything , rather watch where and why this is coming from that way you will come to understand a lot. Hope that this comes across well intentioned. Someone before me mentioned 'stay centered',that is a good advice. Astral realms spin ,we are spinned into being in some way. I feel this spinning from universe entering my being with every breath . Sometimes I sit and also like you spin and spin so fast , waves and waves wash over me ,transforming, chaniging, I am opening up more and more ,asleep in body counciousness and awake in different dimension. Sometimes I also become disorentated while sitting and it has happened that I forget that I have a body at all ,so when I am returning and thoughts come back ,I think where is my body ,is it on the chair? Or is it sitting on the floor? Or when I start feeling my bum on the chair I think ,ah here I am . I went through a phase some 7 years ago when I was literally reeling while walking from this spinning sensation sometimes ,this was due to me starting to adjust to different frequencies during an instense meditation period.
  11. Minor Electric Current?

It seems that you are rewiring to a different frequency. You have mentioned that it is really uncomfortable , pay attention if that feeling has a place and how does it arise. Trace it to its root and uproot. I find that this often means changing attitude and the way of realating to 'yourself' and the world in a more acceptable way. Unless you have had a physical injury of some sort which may be the cause of your discomfort.
  12. A Thought

Ah all right then. Shame though, I fancy a bit of gossip.
  13. A Thought

I am concerned , either you have gone zen or it is that music you listen too...
  14. what god do you worship?

I dont worship and dont think sun is god, but I really do love sun so much since I was a child. Since always. It is a special connection.
  15. If I've gone crazy, I never want to be sane.

Freedom is when understanding comes that there is connection between all of us and there is no way you can ever stand apart, becouse there is noone to do so.
  16. question prease

I was just passing by and saw you mentioning mudra with the tounge connection.. There is Kechari Mudra, bringing tounge behind the uvula. It is one of the hardest to accomplish but most rewarding yogic techniques by which one pointed concentration is achieved and amrita(yogic nectar) is activated, which leads to the states of samadhi. The success in practising it/achieving can only happen due to psychological maturity and certain realizations/understandings.It has to do with subtle changes first occuring of in mental/emotional body that affect physical body. Some people cut the bit under their tounge which IMO is unadvaisable and unecesarry . This is Kechari Mudra:

  18. death

Hello, nice to meet you Mrs Vj , Here is a poem for inspiration. A poem for opening to love affair and friendship. It is written by one of my favourite poetresses Rabia of Basra : Die before you die Ironic, but one of the most intimate acts of our body is death. So beutiful appeard my death - knowing who then I would kiss, I died thousand times before I died. 'Die before you die'said Prophet Muhammad. Have wings that fear ever touched the Sun? I was born when all once I feard - I could love.
  19. The tao always laughs at itself.

Laughter is a tonic indeed! Getting another life is an interesting concept Marbs ,do you just go shopping for one or order it from the Universe ,make one up..?
  20. The tao always laughs at itself.

Yes laughter heals and vitalizes. I havent had problems with loosing energy through ejaculations yet , but also think it is similar to the laughing from the heart. In fact this concept of doing 'from the heart' can be applied to any situation ,to whatever needs accomplishing, whilst dealing with people, while waiting at the bus stop(although I try to avoid that and cycle everywhere)or bank... and a person can feel vitalised and empowered most of the time. It is one of my favorite tools for going through the day at work coupeled with 'not taking things personally'.As well as learning to 'pick and choose' my emotions and actions to get the best results for the enviroment and myself.
  21. Some Things I learned Over the Summer

Nice to read your post Lucky. I am totally with you on taking things slow and watching in laziness and whatever is occuring instead of pushing and trying and demanding. Taking it easy is the way and not taking things personally . I have allowed myself so much rest and put many interests on hold in past year that at some point I was wondering if that is OK ,if it is OK to feel so rested and well? Shouldnt I be doing something productive instead of sitting on my ass and looking at the sky in my free time or staring at the wall for 30 minutes just becouse it feels so good or stopping to look at the ants that I saw on the way home. Conditioning runs so deep. You have mentioned forgivness to yourself. This is so important and fundamental ,it feels just so right for me. Forgivness is change of heart , an opening .Feeling okay with life as it comes even if it is not okay .
  22. The tao always laughs at itself.

I have read here on TTB few times this winter that laughing is not so good becouse you loose jing . I wonder how does that work for Tao if she laughs a lot ,is Tao going to become jing deficiant ? Is this something to worry about or leave it to Tao ? Ah, life ...
  23. Chakra and Micro cosmic orbit

As far as I am aware root chakra is at the base of the spine or coccyx ,not navel. Navel chakra is in the navel area. Prana in the body is distributed through nadis(energy channels),wherever they cross there are chakras which act as sort of 'directors' for pranic distribution, so there are loads of chakras everywhere. Main chakras are the ones you have mentioned and they closley related to glandular system. Yogic systems of working with breath and orbits(which are not called as such in yogic system) recgonise that breath is closley related to the mind and studying its connection should deepen understanding of whats life all about. There are various yogic methods of running the circuit through the chakras which is ment to aid energy/prana distribution, which in turn aids emotional, mental and physical well being(ideally that is lol). I am exploring how dantien works these days having taken tai chi practise and still figuring out the similarities/differences myself.
  24. The return of the body light

Thanks for anwsering it kind of makes sense more intuitivly as to what Magic Gateway is. The fact that hagar found sense of contentment and ease speak more than enough about his practise moving in the right direction and that is what is important.
  25. The return of the body light

Hi Hagar, OK , I thought that you actually see the light. I actually see it in my body ,sometimes with my eyes open and outlining everything around me. This is happens more often depending on how much I practise or how open/sorted I am. I think different people have different abilities awaken through meditations and cultivation,so some can see the light and others feel it.One light. Your expirience makes sense . In my expirience light needs to fill up whole of the body , than something turns upside down and permanent change occurs where the system starts to function differently and I feel hooked up with my surronding and univerese and I feel as I am not breathing ,but I am being breathed through the whole body .The light is pouring in .This has been a little confusing for me and has caused some uphieval in my system ,but I have learned not to resist the change by dealing with my mental/emotinal responses and ideas.Did anything written here make any sense I wonder.. My use of language is my own as I dont know all this terms.I like to practise, but am not so much into study (got other interests going on). Thank you very much for sharing.Actually I would love to see more post of this kind where we share and exchange personal expiriences openly with different practises etc.on the threads and not only in personal practise forum. Just read your last post to exorcist. You definetly didnt come across as bragging to me. And I am looking forward to your next thread of this kind again!
