Look at the stuff I have underlined.Whilst reading it I thought of 'prana pratishta'.'Prana pratishta'is a Hindu ceremony of instaling life into a statue.Invoking presence of a certain diety .Making the statue alive like,this is possible to expirience even today. It is a common ceremony and most pundits dont really know how to do it ,but some people are there that still know the real thing. That would be one way of making tecnology alive.Twisted as it sounds but it is a posibility. Archons ,will google those,never heard of it before.Am courious. It is very inspirational to hear what you do on the personal level ,I love to hear this from people as I am always looking to get even more inspired and learn. I got my first computer(ever) 2 and half years ago(I am 37 years old),and have a cell phone-becouse its cheaper than land line.And there is a washing machine where I live.Thats all technology in my life ,I bycycle mostly everywhere for past 12 years at least 1 and halfish daily up to few hours if going out of town(like today swimming in the lake ). It is admiring that you have not harmed animal,plant or human that you are not going to eat.Wish I can say the same I used to be such an ass at some point in my life. @SteveYes my friend awarness kciks butt to all those nasties!

Hello Adishakti, I was just reading responses since I was on the therad last and your saying 'Technology brings fear' made me want to write few words as I am passionate about uprooting fear . In my opinion technology is made becouse of fear and in a way it is a fear of nature. It is a way to control nature. But technology doesent bring fear.Ignorance brings fear. Technology is what 'you'do with it. We have choice to use it or not.And if used to be aware for what reason. A question for everyone: What is the soultion considering technology ? What have you done so far on the personal level?What is your plan for the future(if any)for the betterment of our existace here on earth? Becouse actions talk louder than words.And it is important to do something instead of only talking.

The way I see it is that we have almost destroyed ourselves becouse of the technology and with the technology(this humanitys learning curve is /was almost leathal,but hopefully we are learning a lot on global level about curiosity and disrepecting natural laws). On a global level we seem to have come closer more than ever before . For example 80 years ago who cared or ever heard of people in Namibian Desert having hardly any waterfall?Infact in UK there used to have signs freely posted on the pubs 'No blacks,no,dogs,no Irish'.Or how many people were disturbed by cutting down the rainforest in Amazon? There are a lot of things like that where we can clearly see that humanity as whole has made an improvment and become more tolerant and acceptable(of course the situation is not ideal but slightly improved on many levels)of each other. This makes me wonder if we could exist with majority of people in the synch with nature?Yes ,but that would also be a part of circle and would have to pass in order for life to go on. Here is something that illustartes well what I mean,from Zulu mythology narrated by C.Mutwa: '..And since that time there is eternal battle of Fire and Ice,of light and darkness throughout the universe.(...)And the Wise ones know that this battle must always be fought but never won.(...)May the Spirit of Life grant that this one Great Battle go on.It is a Great Struggle on which all Life depends.'

Oh I am with you on this,meditation on beach is so heavenly .Beach and sea and ocean is just the best and so fullfilling.The sound ,the sight ,the smell,everything.It is my goal to live somwhere warm by the beach in the years to come...

Hi mewtwo, I am a bit rusty with all this new games ,I know of chess out of all you have mentioned. For me all of life is like a game anyways so I am busy playing it and pretending.Most complex uncomplex game ever. OK if I had to invent something I dont know..it would be something funny,like seemingly impossible accomplishments(this makes sense to me ,but am not sure if it is articulated well),where players would have to have a go at what is required of them to accomplish no matter what the outcome is.

Do you think we are alone in Universe? Of course not,it is common sensical to me.(yeah I know not to everyone else -we will have to agree to disagree ). You are asking if there are any lifeforms and how far away.Maybe even here ,maybe different shape that most would never even notice or consider as a being. Or maybe not.hahaha I have no personal expeirince that is for sure. Travelling to the other planets ?That for sure is possible without the spaceships as well. Are we better off today,becouse of technology? In many respects yes.Look at the internet for example . It is amazing ,it connects people that would never have opportunity to connect otherwise in 'old days' and helps creating and raising awarness of many issues.Connecting cultures in ways uninmaganable years and years ago. Of course it has its many downfalls too and communication is definetley metamorphosising very fast this days on many levels. Is it for good?Who can tell.Life has to be kept alive. However ,'good old days'are gone,and different tune is playing which only means learning a new dance.That is all.That is why I am not a believer in good old days. Keep moving while anchored in stillnes. As far as foul language is concenrned I use it sometimes too . It doesent faze me too much as I never was too plush and spent a lot of my life around streetwise people,outcasts of the society and many passionate artists .But do try to keep inner core,my home-my heart always shining. and that is what counts. I agree with Sloppy that people will be saying same thing again and again in years to come.

Well I think she didnt get them ,but rather discovered them possibly becouse 'getting ' got too strenuous. Trying 'to get' is a learning curve most of us take due to mental/emotional conditioning contegionesly prevalent in this age. I love those three tresures (I have learned about them here on TTB ),simple and profound.

For me self awarness is a background and self consciousness arises like a wrong tune making me feel as if I dance wearing an iron suit. Being fed up has been a great motivator in my life.Once discomfort is noticed for what it is and I start being fed up with self counsciousness -it goes away.Fed uppnes is a powerful force and if used properly mixed the more constructive thoughts it can cause transformation fast. To answer your question I suppose there is a useful amaount as it is an indicator(a sort of alarm system) of common sense and of what is sociable acceptable. The closest it gets to being able to explain natures purpose would be something like (IMO)expression through creation and destruction. Our purpose is exactly whatever one does .So if a person feels s/he needs to balance earthly and heavenly purpose or find enlightemnt or watch tv all day long this is exactly how nature wants to express herself .Everything is important. As nature is multidimensional on some level we appear to exist and have this seemingly complicated life ,but on the other more cosmic level maybe we are just like electrons or blood cells. For me here comes the question about the free will,which (however paradoxical it sounds)it seems to exist and not exist at the same time(and time should be underlined here as this is the key to the paradox). Survival seems to me just one aspect of nature .

Steve,I dont think we have lost our way back to nature. This is yet another example of masculine and not uncommon form of thinking ,it suggests feeling of being separate and that there is somwhere to get to. Our mother is holding us tight ,but some of us might be having a nap. Anyway ,very nice therad.

Becouse the world is overmasculinasied(I made up a word again)and out of balance. Most of us have learned(almost took for granted as the most important way of learning) to get inspired primarily by words and pointers . Forgetting feminine way of reading the nature, her patterns ,feeling interconnected with life,paying attention and deep listening which is a very different way of learning. The word itself is masculine.It defines and points.It aids linear thinking which is again masculine by nature.These things are taken for granted and a norm and are so deeply ingraved that it is almost impossible to to see , feel and enjoy things any other way. That is why. (When I mention masculine it has no gender .)

I have just been reading about contemporary yogis and practicioners and there is a bit in it that mentiones about an Aghori Tantric and his sadhana and consort where they materliazed a house in a place of shack .And some similar practises involving matter manipulation ,metamorphosising etc. So hmmmm..maybe someone is out there playing? I dont necessary believe whatever I read about ,but I dont necessary disbelieve either. It is an intersting find,cant guess as to what and why and if.

There might be a slight misundrestanding here. As I do believe that a guy sitting in the boiling oil probably had done a lot of energy work or something(if the oil is really boiling and its not all a set up),but what I am saying is that energy work can be used (and misused)for different means,different reasons depends where it is chanelled.That is why mind cultivation and honest reflection on ones own humanity is very important. As for the first video with people breakdancing in the air,I am not so sure about energy cultivation..

Who are these guys in funky outfits from the boiling oil video?What kind of practise do they do,do you know? I wouldnt be suprised if Indonesians are very good in dealing with black magic,as cursing and putting spells on each others is somewhat of a national sport over there. Whereas Chinese orientate more towards healing and similar( as far as I understand) which is a slightly different category. Just assuming,dont really know much about this stuff.

I was in Nepal not too far away from Bara District when he just started to meditate for few months.And there were big posters hanging in some places of him in Kathamandu. Some people pronounced him Buddha which he clearly stated he is not ,others ridiculed him. People in these areas (India including)can be very sceptical and or jelous and will do some strange things to practicioners at times (this is not a rule of course just something that has been known to happen).Either to tease or test. Even to extent of giving lethally poisoned milk as was the case with one yogi.Just to see if he is the real deal. So yes,probably he the boy was just taking care of himself.Hope that he is left alone.

Hi Jetsun, I hear you and here is what helps me is- Shifting the view. There is a picture within the picture.A world inside of the world. A symphony with all diferent kinds of notes ,that when gathered together produce a masterpiece called life.Allowing whatever theme to be played out ,giving away only what I would like to reiceve,but not minding if I dont. Anger and bitternes managed to piss me off too much as well.All they offer at the end of the day is some short burst of righteous satisfaction with a horrible long aftertaste.
