  1. Falun Gung differences to Daoist methods?

    If it's a wu wei state is the movement spontaneously generated? How to be wuwei in a form? Then again, between the form the transitions creates a flow pattern that turns a general principle into standing and periodic wave patterns. Like a buckminster fully epicote chi dome. A "state" of being.... Thanks TM. That's like mind gung or something. We call it Placing the Crown. Full Lotus is a crazy position. It's like an energetic pyramid. Now the big question, why arrest Falun Gung for practicing in public? What makes them different from some wudang guy doing a chi gung demonstration? No freedom of expression/movement?     Ya gotta do whatcha gotta do. If the compulsions of LIFE hinder your cultivation then change them. My question would be does your compulsion towards cultivation hinder your LIFE? Cultivation enhances life, so you might actually feel MORE, instead of less. Yet how else would one go about building a fire in the furnace with no fuel? (jing) It's a very natural thing. As waxing and waning with the moon. Don't take it to serious, it's only life and death. It always is, even w/ sex, so take it as seriously as you take sex. <innocent smile> You always start where you left off. I think the main "Problem" encuntered here is that humans have a hard time keeping their hands/mind off things for long enough to experience the internally generated patterns that are being externally reinforced.     Get some periodic alone time. Every day, Every Week, Every Month, Every Year. Don't let to much time pass before you reset your brain. Living in cities sets you in motion at a certain pace. This pace (and information overload) is important to get away from periodically. Like I said, it can be small, like once a day morning or night, forget about time, return to origin. Or a long hike once every year or something to clear the air. You have to define your space clearly and defend your boundaries when people cross them. Spectrum

    Food <shrug> Gotta live with it. Eat Rice was just another way to say eat things that make your body feel good for more than the 15 minutes it takes to eat it. Regular exercise will regulate your metabolic cycles which is grounding for the other fundamentals of air, gait & food. Spectrum

    Eat Rice= Quality Food & Train= Physical training is grounding. Chi cultivation training w/o a ground is ludicris. It breaks the ground rules. There is a logical sequence to training that involves what some call "foundation" or what I was taught is "wuji". It involves the cross latched support of meditation, circulation & physical grounding. Eventually and Ideally these are done simultaneously, but at the start they are seperate while we discern energies. I have been quietly observing Cam's dialog. Not to critisize, but to observe an awakening/hack process. Reason why I call it a hack is that it seems non-traditional in the sense that the safety nets usually in place for individuals on the path have been improvised or removed. I think your hack out of the matrix is resourcful, however risky because if I am correct in assuming, you're not exactly living outside of the normal realm of societies influence. I am also assuming your putting GOOD fuel in the furnace. IE : Brown Rice! Once you change vibrational state the food you eat and the water you drink will make a HUGE difference in how you feel and your circulation cycles. Routine exercise is of utmost importance. When I first started training my teacher said to me that I was going to need to relearn some things I took for granted. How to Breath. How to Walk & How to Eat. So Simple, so profound. Why? Eat Rice.     Have you found an instrument and started playing? That might answer some of these question/statement/paradox realizations your halving. Ionized water also responds well to more organized vibrations. Smaller water clusters. Super Hydration? Good for the kidneys. Since it seems like you're in a heightened state of awareness as of late I would bet you would easily feel the hydration effects. Spectrum
