  1. Ghost immortality

Is any of this connected to emptyness practices? Like where one is supposed to 'go into the emptyness'? 8)
  2. Six Healing Sonds and exzessive Yawning

Yawning happens when we aren't getting enough oxygen to the brain. If qigong is stimulating this, that suggests that maybe there's a blockage or the O2 is being directed elsewhere. Or it might be connected with reverse breathing. If so a good idea is to return to deep normal breathing. OP, where did you learn the six sounds? How has your experience been working with them? 8)
  3. What is the nature of doubt?

    I doubt it. 8)
  4. an example of "a religion of peace" sect

Lets remember that Muslim, Christian, and Jew are NOT races, but categories of belief systems. Being anti-Islam is not racism. Its on par with being anti-communist. There is no communist race, for example. People, esp the MSM, seem to continually conflate this, esp regarding Jews. 8)
  5. an example of "a religion of peace" sect

I dunno. Do ISIS and their ilk think they are fighting a global jihad? Are they really divorced from concrete political circumstances? If so then they are really dangerous because theyd be driven purely by freefloating ideology.
  6. an example of "a religion of peace" sect

Why? What would be the driving cause? These things dont happen without a cause. Terrorism as we know it is the only route left for an overwhelmed party to combat a larger force that they cant actually fight in open warfare. Why Paris? I dunno, maybe its most convenient, or maybe the powers behind it all feel that the French will be more inclined to start accepting totalitarianism in the name of security. I mean, my impression of French politics is not good. As for sources, just look at the Quran. The basic message is peaceful slavery to God. Spreading the faith by the sword is not really a mandate. But, have Muslim groups always adhered to this? Did Mohammed? I'm sure a case could be made against it. But the Quran doesnt implore Muslims to violently spread Islam, or really to proselytize at all. And, terrorism driven by religion isnt a proselytizing act meant to bring Islam to kaffir. Its a response to being under attack by foreign forces. Religion is a prop in that response. Even western powers arent trying to kill Islam, just to control resoucez and spread unrest in order to gain resouces. But somehow the fight becomes religious, partly because Islam the spirituality cant be divorced from Islam the political system. I dont think 'religion of peace' is a good source of information on this. Better to read the nonsense in Islamic discussion forms. 8)
  7. What is the nature of doubt?

To know doubt is to know the opposite of doubt, which we usually call 'certainty'. Being certain is not itself a thought, but a corresponding feeling attached to a conclusion or assertion. The degree of vivacity or intensity of the feeling attached to the assertion is its degree of certainty. Doubt, therefore, is an assertion with a very weak feeling of attachment. Something certain is associated in our mind with a high truth value. Something doubted has a low truth value or might even be associated with a complete suspension of a truth valuation (in logic this means holding or asserting A & -A simultaneously). Doubt as a feeling is a reflection of a distance created by the symbolic actions of the conceptual mind. The further away we get from the concrete, the more layers of 'meaning', the greater number of iterations away from immediate sensation, the greater the doubt-space. Thinking about it now, doubt and certainty as feelings are one and the same--just an intensity of feeling attached to a belief. One can be certain of a doubt. There is never any 'real' certainty because no thing can be 'known'--there are only degrees of belief. However, I certainly doubt this post. :0
  8. Now that the lie of Christ Mass is over

Anyway, the 'real' Jesus was a mushroom, so if you want to converse with him, get ye to the cow paddies, collect the flesh of God, and start trippin balls.
  9. Now that the lie of Christ Mass is over

Jesus said he came to bring war not peace. He also encouraged people to sell their stuff and go buy two swords. Meanwhile, if you believe like the contrmporary Christians (falsely) believe, then Jesus IS God so whatever He said in the OT is all part of the same series of acts by the One God. So I reckon turning the other cheek was a change from the old way of slaying every man woman and child of the enemy. 8)
  10. an example of "a religion of peace" sect

The general law in Islam is do not fight unless provoked. Otherwise, for the individual Muslim, life is pretty peaceful when following the religion. One is focussed on one's relationship to Allah through one's works and deeds (according to the path laid out in the Quran). Islam is not naturally imperialistic. So we should be asking who is kicking the hornets nest? The answer to 'terrorism' is for foreign western powers to stop mucking around in the political and economic affairs of other nations. Terrorists have a cause rooted in very specific socio-political circumstances--they are not just following some vagua globalist agenda rooted in pure ideology (unless all these 'terrorist' acts in the west are actually false flags--then the true culprits are someone else). Eliminate the cause and bye-bye terrorism. Trump asking what is going on is a joke. He knows damn well what the problem is. People are being played on both sides. That being said, I still cant get behind Islam because its full expression is political in nature, and it simply doesnt fit in a truly libertarian humanist civilization. Unless, like the mormons, they get their own planet somewhere. 8)
  11. UFO Thread - Sightings/Information

Of course not! Everyone knows that advanced physical beings either come from the center of the earth or transdimensional portholes. Lesser races send robots into space, a la 'greys', cause they havent figured out how to warp space and can only operate on the wagon train to the stars model. 8)
  12. Now that the lie of Christ Mass is over

Yes, Yaweh LOVES killin'...as much as him loooves roastin' sinners in hell for all eternity...and Christians meanwhile revere blood and torture. Thats their symbol ffs!!! They crave armagedon and terrible global bloodshed. I mean, if it werent for roasting sinners, how would the golden city be heated?? Certainly not by good intentions!! Merty Christmassextinction indeed!! But I loves the pagan trees!! 8)
  13. A message of hope from our Queenie

'The lizards are here...its been this way for years...theyre mean and green..take orders from the queen..remember the third reich..dont you read your David Icke??' 8)
  14. A message of hope from our Queenie

Wouldnt it be nice to hear 'the queen is dead; aristocracy has been abolished'? I heard the French did something like that. Paved the way for socialism. 8)
  15. A message of hope from our Queenie

'The reptilian overlord is dead! Long live the reptilian overlord!!' 8)
  16. Now that the lie of Christ Mass is over

    Gnostic!!
  17. What are folks' experience with the five animal sports qigong? Where did you learn it? On its own or part of another system? Any benefits from practice? Is it an accessible qigong? Easy to learn? Is it formalized or more spontaneous? Whats the energetic goal? Is it similar to 8 Brochades practice (baduanjin) as a popular qi-calisthenic? Not too much on this in the forums, so I'd love to hear from anyone who makes this part of their daily practice. cheers, 8)
  18. an example of "a religion of peace" sect

Oh no, theres plenty of room for improvement, but on the relative scale of justice we here have little to complain about compared to most places in the world. At least here there is the appearance and expectation that we can evolve our judicial standards to meet the changing times, even utterly transform them into something else. We are not hamstrung by adherance to a religious text or code that in itself cannot be changed nor evolve (and in the case of Islam 'progression' or 'innovation' is codified as sin and is forbidden--hows THAT for an institutionalised status quo?). 8)
  19. an example of "a religion of peace" sect

Anyone who complains about western justice ought to go live in Saudi. You cant argue with religion, you can only destroy and remove it. Until that happens the world will continue to see abuses. We here in North America are quite lucky to have the system we do...not perfect, still corrupt for some, but a far cry from the bullshxt underpinning so many other nations, be it rabid religious or political extremism. So are we going to bomb them back to the middle ages once the oil dries up or continue as a race to tolerate inhumanity in the name of fantasy? Either way blood with continue to be spilled. What other route is there..? 8)
  20. an example of "a religion of peace" sect

But you tolerate 'medical professionals' that kill people inside planned parenthood clinics? Well everyone has their biases I guess. 8)
  21. Vulcans vs Klingons

Hers a link to that script, called 'Coda': http://www.roberthwolfe.com/Coda/AndromedaCoda.RTF 8)
  22. Vulcans vs Klingons

Each solar body had a consciousness associated with it that could also manifest as a physical being. They often had strange powers and insights and were fairly mysterious to other races. They could wander off and 'forget' their original source. The main character, Dylan Hunt, spent some centuries stuck on the event horizon of a black hole. It gets revealed that during that time he was entertained by the black hole's avatar who fell in love with him. Its later revealed that one of his new crew members, Trance, is also an avatar, and she undergoes a transformation to awaken herself. In the script I mentioned the avatars called themselves 'Lucifers' and their desire to bright light to the dark void is the initial cause of suns igniting. 8)
  23. Vulcans vs Klingons

The thing I loved about Andromeda was the idea that solar bodies had avatars associated with them. What a cool concept. There was a great script/short story that the original producer (I think) released that told the story of the universe from Trance's perspective through a cockpit dialogue with Harper. It was great but never made it to the screen. Too bad! Also season 5 sucked, esp the origin of the Nicheans. 8)
  24. Do we live in the matrix?

All the moreso because history, indeed all phenomenal events, is not some 'thing' out 'there' in the distance, but a part of the complete body of reality that exists right NOW. We dont need to ask 'but what about the pyramids???' if we understand the phenomenal manifold as pure information because depending on the narrative being 'read' all that 'backstory' comes together as context for the current chapter. In other words we should not bother looking at causal timespace connections, but logical connections uniting First and Final causes. A book has a first page and a last page that all come bound together as a single unit. You can open it to any page and start reading, but the narrative flows unimpeded from first to last with the paper and ink being relative delivery media blended them together. You want an insight into history? Better grt a clear view of your face before you were born! 8)
  25. Do we live in the matrix?

All this argument about 'history' is a joke and a waste of time because none of it gets to the fundamental metaphysical root of the question--is phenomenal reality essentially just information? Because if we say yes to this then all the 'facts' about 'history' and all comments about 'scientific methods' supoosedly revealing them are nothing more than literary critiques, dealing solely with the linear arrangement of a narrative and never the origin of the book from the pen of the author. 'Information' is non-spatial, non-temporal. Timespace is a projection of the event of 'reading' but not something that 'contains' information. Looking for a medium is just more page flipping through books. The idea of reality as information goes beyond any particular narrative of how phenomenal events unfold and manifest a 'world'. And since information in this sense is beyond timespace, there is no burden of having a 'thick' ontology because data 'space' is not required because the concept of storage doesnt apply to the Possible. All possible narratives exist. Every type of unfolding phenomenal manifold is real. Reality is not burdened by this. There is no competion for being. Besides, if you allow a purposeful controlled matrix governing our existences, there is no way out. Its 'Inception' again because it invariably leads to an infinite regress. The only 'out' is the absolute negation of all information--the complete stopping of all 'readings'. Whether the info comes direct from the infinite source or from Descartes' evil genius, the only way past it is to stop 'listening'. No amount of 'clues' in the matrix can lead you out. Its an endless whirlpool leading nowhere. So arguing about history is pointless. Youve already accepted this particular narrative so youre trapped. Even worse, its just narratives nested in narratives that lead nowhere but back to page 1. Even within this narrative we cant possibly KNOW anything about distant timeplaces. Lol we cant be sure of events unfolding 7 days ago let alone 700 000 years ago. Its worse than reading 'The Return of the King' and intuiting the plotline of 'The Hobbit'. Or better yet, watching 'Return of the Jedi' in 1983 and intuiting perfectly or even remotely the plot to 'The Phantom Menace'. History is another diversion enjoyed by people of abundant leisure--interesting and engaging but ultimately empty and irrelevant (to the BIG questions). 8)
