i dont look at it as a military takeover as much as i look at it as the military stepping in on behalf of its people. i would almost remind our military that they took an oath to defend the constitution and the people. didnt you take an oath like that?

fulcrum could speak better than i can about the arrangements made in virginia. as he was initiated in 2009 and i think he is the one handling it from that end this year. last year there were 22 i think? initiates. and it was held in a wing chung studio. one with alot of Taoist flavor. and they did an excellent job of it. 91?! wow, my goal in organizing a future event in kentucky or anywhere would be around 20

neiye in some ways is my favorite ancient document. i have taken time, from time to time, to ponder on it , since manituo took it up here on ttb. and i hesitate to speak much on it, even if i agree it is intriguing. it is definately a personal cultivation text. from my perspective in considers Te as "power" and as in a "moral" type of thing. and thru Te one can attract better qi i also think it is saying that shen is indeed spirit or a spirit consciousness i would like to hear others thoughts especially on chapters 8 & 9

ironic, isnt it ? that speculative thought is what avoids the tedious, boring, mindless, covering of the same old worn out ground and thus avoids the biased idealism inherent by such limited way of thinking, and it is the speculative thought that allows one to think in true concrete terms about how things work in the real world. the "logical" thinkers dont recognize logic of what it truly is. the "logicals" get lost in simple paradox and fail to understand how we can preserve and change simultaneously. this is the effect of the self imposed limits they have artificially imposed upon themself. for sure there is cause and effect. a bit of synchronicity going on in a delightful way really
