Plasma Dragon Consumes all of the Problems!

"Which state park did you release those cobra into?" http://greatserpentmound.com/ http://www.forgotten...ms/serpent.html http://en.wikipedia....i/Serpent_Mound edit> some folks are aware that this is also a meteor crator having iridium and many rare trace minerals. there is no trace of any folks ever living here, no pottery chards etc. mysterious place indeed. very few know of the "caves" that exist there and these will keep any ectothermic creatures from freezing. http://iccra.org/rep...ion%20Facts.pdf http://www.rense.com/general64/cosm.htm and a mention of the star ancestors. -
Most people are afraid of Void as Void = Death and Loss
zerostao replied to tulku's topic in General Discussion
i agree it is good for one to look and see for themself. in my observations(and you can observe alot sometimes just by looking) the only folks i have ever met who were afraid of death were the ones who were not satisfied with their life. -
ok, i reckon that you are right about being in a conversation.(conversation being a 2 way thing where one listens to(and considers) the experience of those in that conversation) but if you were in a conversation on this thread, you would be conversing with folks who do run their mco. and ones who are sharing from their experience. and trying to share some insight to you so it would not be so much of a mystery to you.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RjWAHX2jsk4 i reckon the new guys still play the old time country. it just doesnt get played on 98.1

what does your experience tell you? you are in a conversation with folks that do run their mco. do you ever use RB when you play your taiji quan?

i kinda liked that "old timey" amy lee that ralis posted. to see her , i mean hear her sing as she is stretched out on a grand piano... i reckon "old timey" means different things to different folks. i have posted some ragtime blues, for me this next one is old timey i remember those old times when america had factories

wasn't there some guy in sweeden, maybe 3 weeks ago splitting atoms in his kitchen? excited the local authorities there for a moment. "it is just a hobby of mine, why all the fuss?" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V6Homj4SU5w gee whiz Machin Shin "How do you do a light nuclear process in your kitchen? Nuclear systhesis of heavy elements into super heavy elements requires technically advanced equipment that is available to the public." EBAY DUDE ebay i rememeber a few years back , just for fun i had ordered 17 king cobras and turned them loose in the local state park. never heard anything more about it. e b a y is the way edit> for a balanced post http://www.youtube.com/watch?NR=1&v=46h096m11fo nuclear kitchen, check , cobras, check, levitation, check ,supply your own bliss -
http://www.thetaobums.com/index.php?/topic/13656-macrocosmic-orbit/ i had been looking at this one, so i thought i would share for the newer bums. for me sometimes what i call breathing or chi kung or meditation does not stay neatly confined to a specificaly defined box. so excuse me for that. one have enjoyed this summer is called 5 gates breathing.

i am also a fan of the eluthero. and also a big fan of notoginseng. i have to import those and gladly do so. last night i was messaged by a well known public TCM personality that i have long respected. anyways he was saying that a good level korean ginseng is superior to what i have and offered a trade of some of his korean for some of my kentucky. its all cool and sure i love trade/trade. but i know and i reckon he does too , that when dealing with the wild all roots are not equal. some have strong magic. cherokee medicine men(priests) have a long history of gathering and use of ginseng. for them the gathering and the use is sacred. depending on the root and its quality it can be called either yunwi usdi(litle man) or yunwi usdiga adawehiyu (little man , most powerful magician) it is spoken of as a person and it is in much cherokee folklore. it is said it can be invisible to those who should not gather it. "it shouldnt be taken by itself" ?? i dont know about that. i reckon one could always soak some primo root in the bottom of a maker's mark bottle.

i am not at all curious as to why we never have returned to the moon. i wonder if anyone thinks about this? -
ChiDragon, "oops.... It just happened a few minutes ago, my bird flew at me, within 5 to 6 inches, and try to bite my finger. Without thinking my reflex was so quick before I realize that I might hurt my bird, it was on knocked on the floor already. Good thing it was a light touch on my part." how did it feel to knock the bird to the floor? i cannot agree that this was a good thing. try gentleness and this in a meditation thread? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NrFCwvlw0cs also just becoz we have not experience skin breathing does not mean that some others have not. all reality is not based on our limited understanding/experience. edit> i thought tai chi develops sensitivity?

the next one is the two poles of xingyiquan 2 poles generated from one qi, are heaven and earth. yin and yang. if we only have yang, we will not live, if we only have yin , we will not grow. when yin and yang mutually brew, then millions of lives are born. this is the natural rule of heaven and earth. the human body is also a small heaven and earth. from 4 limbs, hundreds of bones, every action and every move are distinguished with yin and yang. when yin and yang combine harmoniously then the body is strong and the movements are smooth. when yin and yang are abnormal, then the body is weak and the movments are in disorder. this is because yin and yang are born from "Pre-Heaven Real Sole Qi" however to raise this "Pre-Heaven Real Sole Qi to keep it and protect it you must also start from the harmonious regulation of yin and yang. therefore, whoever practices xingyiquan cannot gain the essence without knowing the 2 poles. i think this one is saying that to grasp the essence of xingyiquan we must know and understand the aspects of yin and yang and be able to coordinate them harmoniously. and all variations and interactions are generated from the Original Qi. every part of the body and and every movement can be identified as yin or yang.
-
i think Lian Qi is referring to the refining, training , and strengthening of the qi. understanding yin and yang and learning how to apply them in harmony . this way you can learn to comprehend creation and variation. in this way we can stop the decline of the aging process. i am thinking of adding about 4 a week , unless there are a couple very closely related to each other and in this case i will add them together. but i think it is good to give some time to chew and digest and not move too quickly. lifeforce i do have the nei gong set from the book you like but i dont have any notes for them.

great that you joined in steve, for me xingyiquan is secondary to my baguazhang. and i have all my bagua bros telling me to forget about xingyi and just do bagua but i do learn something each time i play xingyi. and i agree totally about the meditation and with both the meditation and the practice there are experiences that cannot be described by me in words. ok, so i have 2 different versions of 36 and then 48 bagua poems/songs. and there are the tai chi classics that will be great to explore. i kinda hope we can stay with the xingyi poems/songs for a bit and work our way thru them til we get to marshall yue fei's ten treatises on xingyiquan. a long long ways to go. wherever they come from, to me they sound legit. and yes these are the beginning ones and they get more into the flavor of xingyi as we go ahead. here is the next one: xingyiquan is to use the post-heaven man to train, to comprehend and interact with yin and yang, to combine creation and variation. the desire to turn around heaven and earth, return from post-heaven to pre heaven, protect and nourish the qi, and make possible the ascent to the domain of longevity. therefore, altho xingyiquan has millions of variations, hundreds of marvelous tricks, when we examine them all, there is nothing but "Lian Qi"

idk, i have had asians tell me that the white is better than the red. i wont enter into that debate. however i do know that wild is exponentially better than farm raised. and i happen to be sitting on quite a good bit of wild at the moment life is good in da' woods. i had another file to share but it said "error file was too big to load"

General discussion is not Off Topic
zerostao replied to Harmonious Emptiness's topic in General Discussion
if a topic does not suit my taste or interest i can always find another thread to participate in. different strokes for different folks. -
Mh, Okay. I just want to thank everyone who participated in this thread. I think we did a really good job at staying on topic while there were active conversations going i agree it is a good thread even if this type of thing, "i guess there is a brain its just asleep. what about ghosts? non-corporeal entities?" from a post of anamatva , certainly grabs my attention and i hope for further discusion along these lines as well. but being a little seasoned here, knowing it is a Marblehead thread, i exercised restraint and hope it presents itself in another thread(soon) maybe we can start exploring some of the other taoist classics aside from ttc? (as we have a sub forum for that) has chuang tzu been completely worn out here already?

remember i am not a higher level. but i would echo steve's comment about in the diagonal hands i am thinking the waist should be leading more. i do applaud you for posting the video as i had asked for some taiji players on the forum to post a simple video for world taiji day. there were no takers on that. i hope that more members would post videos in the spirit that we could all give constructive criticism. i think we all would benefit. i should have a camera by the end of september and will put up a little of my clumsy bagua.

thanks for posting. some nice flow. when you are raising your hands(opening) you are doing it much higher than i do. so this is not a criticism, just a difference i notice. i raise mine up to about shoulder height. is there a reason your raise higher?
