R_V i sense that you innately understand also when i said time is art ? i think an artist can truly create in whatever they are doing as opposed to simply manufacturing. example i used to have a job title of "knitter" but where i was merely trying to produce for more pay. and this motivation had me putting great effort into that. still it was never close to a level of art that you are experiencing.

no hero here..the thought of mastery over my heart and understanding the "science of emotions" are concepts i cannot grasp.almost finds my fear.(does strike fear) controlling emotions? or suppressing emotions? probably not best. but i dont want my emotions controlling me either. this thread has gems sprinkled all thru it and i really liked the opening post. for me ART is so much more than some contrived gimmick/device employed to trigger an emotion or emotional response. that is child's play and so many do it. art and entertainment are 2 different things, right or no? i hold art to a higher ideal & standard than craft. relativism is unavoidable for sure. what i call art does change my awareness profoundly. is it rare? yep, that is what makes it art. does the tao care about art? there is one book i read recently by Chang Chung-Yuan called Creativity and Taoism. back to the original post and the question which sage advanced in spiritual journey has conquered his emotions..that is close , right? my imagination shows a seasoned xingyiquan purist who has attained the essence of the art. great thread, i need to stay away from emotion/heart threads or practice my sword forms to the point my sword is so sharp it can cut away the clingings of emotions. my guess is i will be practicing as long as it takes you to crack mystery. time is art

s this post woke me up like a strong pot of coffee. the dragon visitor i had was bluish gray. i hope i am not quite ill but i feel as good as ever etc. there was also cobra visitors that i had not mentioned to anyone before but after your post here, it has me wondering. the cobras were actually above my head. just being there, i did sense they were very alive. kundalites would be kundalini yoga? i have heard of that of course. but idk anything about it. i just do some basic qigong, meditation, been practicing some basic baguazhang. how would one go about getting to a more personal level of aquaintance?

beautiful emergence. there are doves, cardinals, bluejays,finches, sparrows, some type of wren,2 towhees, a squirell in the back yard now munching down on seed. yesterday a hawk stopped by for a minute and they all scattered except the squirell, it just froze. the hawk just looking at it. no eventuality occured but had to be interesting moment. the whale /dolphin/bear morph seems cool too. the only whale i have seen live was in captivity. i have crossed rare paths with dolphins and bears. do you think this is about dna? becoz that had been suggested to me before .

i agree about the plants for sure. it is a nice arrangement in they like your CO2 and give us O2. i particulary like trees. evergreens.

in peru we have history of civilizations going backwards from inca,tiwanaku,moche, and a recently discoverd caral supe which timeline wise was around the time of the pharoh khufu. all had eleborate and complex archetecture, flourishing communities,highly skilled artists ,,goldsmiths etc. and they all have one thing in common other than being in peru. none of them have any evidence of a written record or written language. i find this curious as other anicient civilizations that i am aware of all had some form of written record.

SJ in my off topic re-direct thread in the basement. i put some images with notes. one reason i put it there was i had to combine from 3 different images.

the final image i present is becoz of the frill/crown. it is not accurate to size. i would say my visitor's frill/crown was roughly 1/3 size of this ones. however the shape of the frill/crown is very close. my visitor was a bit larger than me. however i know of many humans bigger than the visitor. and he stood straight up, much like we do.

here i give a profile view. and i must point out i saw the visitor head on or face to face. but i present this to give more of an idea about the shape of the face and head. it is what i think the profile would look like in regards to dimension.

i found this guy not by searching for a dragon image but by trying to find sth about dragon's breath which i had mentioned early in the thread. i really couldnt comment directly about it from the source i learned about it becoz. the guy who taught it at some point had a change of heart about it and decided it was not a good thing to have guys in a small kentucky town (bible belt) being able to demonstrate about it. one example is guys putting a candle flame out with their palm at 15 '. yes feet not inches.but i really couldnt find anything on the net about it.the teacher has strictly forbidden any of his students to continue its practice. anyways.. this image represents the darkness and general structure of the head/face. it was bluish /gray as i said b4 but in a dark way , not faint. disregard the horns/frill on this one as it does not match my visitor. but the general shape of the face not being pointily triangulated as many other dragon images i have viewed on the web recently. not square but the trianglular shape is somewhat more squared tha usual. the image here is from dragon's breath bathory. i chose to mute the song actually.

TF, nice point. many of these masters say they can take you to the next level up from where you are. and i am reasoanbly sure that they can. i probably invested about 100$ to get my mco going on. 3500$ i am thinking i can go up more than one level. i am in no rush anyways to jump ahead. i do think GM Wang Liping is probably a fantastic GM. but in either case i am priced out being able to meet him.

hmm, i did look thru 1000's of images of dragons today. maybe now i can imagine what it would feel like sitting in a detective's office looking thru mugshots,trying to pick the individual . but this dragon i am trying to identify is not a criminal that i am aware of. so i kinda have mixed feelings about it. i could never finger (rat out)a friend. there were 3 diferent images and while none of the 3 is an exact match. if i took parts of each i could compose a single image that would be very very close. i dont know how i could do that. maybe i will have do some sketching. i did run across this
