speaking of and it is kinda one of those fox loose in the hen house type of things---so speaking of "gotten that high" i gotten myself about 8 floors high, looking over the kentucky river from the top window of some whisky house in lawrenceburg, just a glorified barn, really, some had been built, well one even around 1912 i think. i lost count of how many whisky houses, they had the entire alphabet worth at the main location at the distillery. the first one i entered was a newer one held 56,000 barrels@ 53 gallons each. well that was what the barrel started with but over the eight years of aging they wind up with 36-40 gallons at about 140 proof. they had never ever had an inventory,,crazy eh? well i could still be out there but winter is finally arriving and besides i have a research paper about sartre's Nausea due on the 24th,,,,anyways "with Wild Turkey" i certainly was. i am a jim beam man myself and incidentally the reason i just returned to richmond yesterday isnt for the 50 cent shots of 7 year old jim beam but rather to finish up my research on this fellow sartre and his nausea.. but i even visited Four Roses distillery(a lovely place) and they had Wild Turkey houses there too and even over at camp nelson, more Wild Turkey whisky houses. it was a bit surreal looking out the top floor window of a whisky house looking out over at a national cemetery. and is often the case in kentucky, the union soldiers all have grave sites whilst the rebs were all dumped in some mass grave....so i get to richmond, go to the tavern and the first thing i hear is some tall tale about a Wild Turkey barrel that had been traded for some herb, so not sure if i will ever make it back there, 8 floors up at times in the dark walking on a 2 by 8 enabling my labeling the barrels and it's a curious thing how the old man is still able to out maneuver those half my age, maybe 15 years ago in pinellas county florida i walked on iron beams up high but the only time i ever froze up was in a tobacco barn in woodford county. so to summarize i have been 7 weeks trying to figure out just how many barrels there are and no conclusive answer as yet and the occasional tale of a wayfaring barrel out and about ,,,,,,each rick has about 200 barrels maybe give or take.. well dang it to heck!! i tried to upload a pic i took inside the whisky house but it wont let me,,what the heck, hopefully will add pic of some nice friendly warm barrels

this type of thread used to get a fair amount of commentary on this forum from a basic perspective, basic, which is above my level, and i entered pakua chang play seeking good health and a path to tao rather than martial aspirations, and with less than ten years, quite a bit less, play, take it for what it is. basic. any of the three main styles taiji bagua xingyi, you have developed an internal game hopefully, recognize other center, well acquainted with own center coming from fundamentals. meditation benefits these arts complimentary. from a center to center perspective, xingyi straight up goes for other center. bagua moves own center while gaining angle on other center, taiji is right in front of other but other can not recognize a good taiji player's center. all of these are on neuro level and spirit level, so higher develop spirit holds sway, so meditate and play. from each we develop six harmonies, which could lead one to water boxing. there are others as was mentioned earlier, consider extreme fortunate to have these arts so openly available nowadays.

I have fallen in love with American names, The sharp names that never get fat, The snakeskin-titles of mining-claims, The plumed war-bonnet of Medicine Hat, Tucson and Deadwood and Lost Mule Flat. Seine and Piave are silver spoons, But the spoonbowl-metal is thin and worn, There are English counties like hunting-tunes Played on the keys of a postboy’s horn, But I will remember where I was born. I will remember Carquinez Straits, Little French Lick and Lundy’s Lane, The Yankee ships and the Yankee dates And the bullet-towns of Calamity Jane. I will remember Skunktown Plain. I will fall in love with a Salem tree And a rawhide quirt from Santa Cruz, I will get me a bottle of Boston sea And a blue-gum nigger to sing me blues. I am tired of loving a foreign muse. Rue des Martyrs and Bleeding-Heart-Yard, Senlis, Pisa, and Blindman’s Oast, It is a magic ghost you guard But I am sick for a newer ghost, Harrisburg, Spartanburg, Painted Post. Henry and John were never so And Henry and John were always right? Granted, but when it was time to go And the tea and the laurels had stood all night, Did they never watch for Nantucket Light? I shall not rest quiet in Montparnasse. I shall not lie easy at Winchelsea. You may bury my body in Sussex grass, You may bury my tongue at Champmedy. I shall not be there. I shall rise and pass. Bury my heart at Wounded Knee. stephen vincent benet
