Master Nan & Bill Bodri - circulation being a waste of time
Sunya replied to nomad's topic in General Discussion
nomad, you have a car and you need to get somewhere. do you play around under the hood trying to make it the fastest, safest, and more reliable car? or are you more concerned with the destination trusting that the car will be ok? thats really what it comes down to. some will say its a lot faster and safer to play around with the car, but many have merged with the Tao without any doing any conscious energy movement. why not a balance of both? i don't think theres anything wrong with doing energy work unless you are feeling ill effects. its a meditation in itself so supplementing with deep meditation is a good idea. key is not to get attached to the body and the phenomena that can occur -
i got the first 6 levels (there are 12) of Holosync off the internet, love bittorrent. PM me if you'd like the links and instructions. 6 months each level, so thats 3 years right there if you stick with it. as far as I know gamma is meant to build compassion or something. though i think holosync might have gamma tracks its mainly aimed at deep meditation which is theta/delta. there are also tracks for alpha if you want to study or something. but the main focus of holosync are The Dive and Immersion tracks. the first you listen to for 14 days then after that you add Immersion so its a total hour (30 each) of meditation. i've only tried Dive from the first one, Awakening prologue, and it rocked.

Is The Official History of Kunlun's Origin Bogus?
Sunya replied to mwight's topic in General Discussion
Namaste Satyalok Yogani of Advanced Yoga Practices and Chrism of Kundalini Awakening Systems both were asked about Kunlun and both said that it is kundalini, obviously. what else can it be? there is only one evolutionary divine force in this world lol. many months ago I posted about this. i think its time we put aside the words and phrases and realized all practices lead to the same goal, all deal with the same forces. the Taoists knew about kundalini and have methods that have made the process much smoother. thank you Taoists! keeping the tongue on the palate for example, though i don't know if thats part of Kunlun system. the spontaneous movements and bliss is a dead giveaway that kundalini is involved -
there is a kunlun forum, go there. http://www.kunlunforum.com/

i tried Holosync Centerpointe Awakening prologue which I downloaded in FLAC format. man it rocked. totally knocked me out, my body was vibrating like crazy as I was shifting into subtle state awareness. 30 minutes later the track ends and I felt stoned like a hippie at woodstock. good stuff

Eckhart Tolle is new age? get real. she makes people question their fundamentalist christian beliefs and to view Christ in a different light. away from meaningless worship and more to realizing that Christ is within. if thats New Age than sign me up. I guess anything that wasn't written on a scroll in a cave by some unknown monk is considered New Age. I think most "New Age" material contains more truth than a lot of the parables found in old scriptures which only few can understand. I don't get this fetish people have with ancient knowledge. it's like learning to cook from a book written 2000 years ago, as if more practical methods haven't been invented.

wow this thread got totally off track hahah I found an article written by a teacher of mine that talks about the "death of the ego" i think what he said is on par with what Hundun was talking about in the initial post http://www.kundaliniawakeningsystems1.com/...ath-of-ego.html what do you guys think?

Bringing together the tuth of tradition and religion
Sunya replied to Ascalon's topic in General Discussion
check out Ken Wilber, he fused East and West quite well into an 'Integral' approach that is digestible for the Western rational mind. I loved studying eastern philosophy but it was the dogma of the traditions that held me from pursuing any specific paths. i agree with you though, there is an Outer ring of tradition/ritual/dogmatic beliefs that are different in each path. but the inner mystical core is the same. the difference lies in cultural interpretation of non-dual reality using language, a dualistic barrier. many get caught up on the actual finger pointing to the moon instead of the moon itself, which is mysticism. there comes a point though where you gotta give up all the beliefs, concepts, and intellectual 'knowing'. put the mind aside to truly experience that which is beyond mind. this is why all traditions have a form of meditation/contemplation/inquiry that is meant to stop the mind and go deeper Indeed i agree entirely though I think ego must be clarified, I think that it never truly disappears. only attaching to it does. ego is necessary to live, socialize, and be in this dualistic realm we are in. i think of ego as a lower self that is trained on the spiritual path to surrender and make room for the higher divine self to shine and be -
That is true. but that is still cheaper than the 99 I see them everywhere else.. but this company I don't think offers the money back guarantee. to get the 90 day money back guarantee you gotta go to the main site and order there http://www.q-linkproducts.com/ if you want to help support Robert Bruce order through here, but they only offer a 30 day money back guarantee.. http://www.glidewing.com/astraldynamics/q-link_home.html still not sure where i'll get mine, i like RB but 30 days may not be enough for me to feel it out
-
Q-Link has a 90 day money back guarantee.. so if its bullshit I can get a refund. i think even a month is long enough to tell if its legit or not. score! interesting video here that 'proves' the qlink actually works http://www.emf-health.com/ EDIT: found the cheapest deal for new Q-Links here http://www.healthnstuff.com/QlinkOnSale.asp 75 free shipping cheaper than ebay, and no risk of getting a fake.
-
well it isn't ironic. its that if i get a QLink and decide it was a waste, i can resell it on ebay. if I get the Tachyon thing and decide its a waste, i'll end up giving it to the next homeless person i see
-
maybe i've watched too much Star Trek TNG but the word Takyon sounds like teknobabble hehehe thanks for your response though. not sure if i'm ready to dish out 100$ if i can't resell it since nobody knows about it, incase i don't feel anything. i'm a skeptic, a poor one.
-
have you ever personally tried the Q-Link? how do you know that the Takyon thing you recommended is better? It could be possible that the two do the same thing, and only clever marketing separates them, no? I don't like how the site you gave seems like it was made in 1990 and the only way to get one is to send him cash or a check to a PO Box
-
well im convinced that it does have some effects after reading experiences here and other places, and that Robert Bruce supports it. though i'm still surprised they cost so much. all of these 'tools' are so expensive and i'm shocked people pay so much. but that's capitalism for you, its too bad that spirituality and capitalism have to mix. i want to try to get one, but still thinking whether its worth it. i can always sell it back on ebay I guess http://www.q-linkproducts.com/p_gold.shtml this one is beautiful costs a grand though. lol, oh my

after scouring the net I found that the best introductions to wilber's work are these http://www.amazon.com/Brief-History-Everyt...f=cm_lmf_tit_10 book http://www.amazon.com/Wheres-Wilber-At-Int...3839&sr=1-3 book http://www.amazon.com/Kosmic-Consciousness...3857&sr=1-1 Audio CDs (found a torrent for this one)

hey guys any of you meditate at certain times which are known to be more beneficial for meditation? i don't quite know much about this, would love to hear some experiences/thoughts on this a friend recommended that i start waking up at 3am everyday to do 5 Tibetans (yoga exercises) and then meditating here's what he wrote about 3:00AM
-
so you guys that have meditated at 3am/4am, you notice a difference? thinking about starting this.. though i'll have to get to bed atleast by 11, stay up 3-4.. and then i have to wake up at 10 for work. i'm sure this will also help in my attempts to project out of body since many say waking up in middle of night has helped them. though theres still the issue of fear for me. couple days ago i felt myself coming out and got so scared that it was actually happening that i immediately flew back into my physical body hahah
-
hello i think you should evaluate why you read so much. i have that affinity as well, and when i look deep at it.. its just the ego wanting to 'know' everything, for security, which stems from fear. fear of not knowing. but books can't provide you anything except hearsay. its experience that provides truth. books just give you intellectual knowledge but only when you transcend the mind can progress be made. thats just from my own experience, maybe you're different. listen to Hundun he knows what he's talking about i personally have found energy work to be beneficial, though deep meditation is key.. and constant awareness of emotions/actions/desire throughout day. energy work is great as another form of meditation, it silences the mind, and like Hundun says clears blockages and as Emily said helps with meditation. Hundun knows what hes talking about when he says that many get too attached to the phenomena of energy and don't progress. i posted a long post about this a while ago but before you decide to do it or not, i suggest you ask yourself why you want to do energy work, why you read all those books, and why you're into spirituality in the first place welcome to the board, hope you find what you're looking for here mikael

A Free Gift To Aid You All In Your Qigong/Neigong Training

yeeeeeeeeeeeeeehaw ! party time when i do breath awareness my breaths are pretty quick because i don't try to force it, i try to let go and let the body breathe.. relaxing more and more will make the breaths longer and less frequent right? or do you have to consciously slow down and breathe deeper? -
but the orgasms dude! shooting orgasmic bliss light out the third eye into females and making them squirmmmm, isn't that enlightenment? spiritual progress is measured by your flexibility, anyone who tells you otherwise does not read enough books.
