  1. Benefits of Kunlun Practice

WYG stop being a douche. i don't like reading your posts when you get so defensive and sarcastic, frankly its annoying and doesn't belong on this forum. if you have a problem take it to PMs, but when you post on a public forum with all that aggression it really ruins the harmony it's ok to ask questions, but don't get so defensive. who cares what Cameron says? no one reads his posts anyway
  2. Secrets of Female Formless Awareness

i get the feeling that you do most of the talking whenever you're in a conversation
  3. Benefits of Kunlun Practice

he means other energetic practices. i'm not talking about that.. and the other things he teaches i don't know about since i never took a seminar, but i can only guess that they supplement kunlun in someway
  4. Benefits of Kunlun Practice

i agree that practicing chi gung doesn't make you spiritual, and that kunlun isn't the end-all spiritual practice although it is great but is best coupled with studying spiritual philosophy and practicing it

  7. Secrets of Female Formless Awareness

thank you for explaining your view. i appreciate it and i respect what you're doing, but its not my style. i love music and have played guitar since i was very young, but have always had trouble with systems, math, numbers etc. so i barely learned any music theory and much more preferred just improvising and being in the moment. i felt theory to be too limiting for me, it takes away something.. the spontaneity. i'm sure that after you learn a lot of theory and do jazz improvisation that you forget the theory since its so built in, but i just could not force myself to turn the guitar into a mathematical machine. i feel the same about spirituality, its just not my road. i prefer to feel it, not analyze it. i wish you luck though on your discoveries, i'm sure it will serve you and other people well
  8. Trip to India...

i'm going to be studying abroad in india in the fall. when you figure out where to go i'd love to hear from you. i'll be in bangalore but will be traveling. i won't be able to study anywhere yet but definetely want to see some sites
  9. Secrets of Female Formless Awareness

you talk about the microcosmic orbit being a secret of india, i've studied yoga and pranayama (spinal breathing) is pretty similiar to microcosmic orbit but not exactly. energy is brought from the sacrum up the spine straight to the third eye, then back down. it is not brought down the front. there is more emphasis on the spine in indian yoga than in taoist yoga.. and the front is worked on by doing different bandhas or body locks also you never answered my question. what do you get out of mentally masturbating all of these numbers facts and equations
  10. Secrets of Female Formless Awareness

i dislike math, and i dislike all this talk. logic, facts, numbers, equations. not my style. what do you get out of studying this? seems to me like mental masturbation.
  11. sex - the secret gate to eden

mantis, don't be so gullible trust those who have experienced kundalini.. mystics like the ancient indian gurus, Robert Bruce, Gopi Krishna, Swami Muktananda, etc. sex is only one way, not the only way. i have that video it's pretty informative, its by samael aun woer, a gnostic. its an interesting take on myths and legends pertaining to mysticism. in the video he states that sex isn't the only way, pranayama is also mentioned. the methods of kundalini awakening seems very accurate to me based on what i've studied. the indian gurus have studied the subject for thousands of years, kundalini yoga isn't that different from some taoist practices. the microcosmic orbit essentially is pranayama. bringing the sexual energy (jing) up the spine to be converted to a more purified energy (chi, shen) essentially is what kundalini is. although its much deeper than that but on the surface thats what it is
  12. that is limited thinking. we are not all only human, that sort of mindset just gives you excuses to be inferior and not live up to your true potential. Alan Watts never claimed to be a guru and should not be treated as one. he was an intellectual with great understanding but did not live it. a real guru is a realized being, the key word being realized. there is no danger in following a guru but there is danger in following a fraud. if you follow your heart and use reason that will not happen. actually, there is no danger in following a fraud either. everything in life is a lesson.
  13. The Water Method + Kundilini Yoga

sure why not? i like to mix systems too, but i think once you start seeing real results, its best to pick one system that you like best and stick with it
  14. here's an excerpt I typed out from Shadow Strategies by Glenn Morris dealing with the 'void' and how to get there. anyone have an experience of the void?

  19. water fasting

how do you guys feel about fasting 1 day a week? is there any benefit in this? or should I save my energy and fast like 5 days every month?
