  1. Thoughts on vegetarianism?

    Vegetables in your diet is good.. Only vegetables is bad if you don't have enough fire. So say if your doing ALOT of chi kung.. Or Doing moxibustion and chi kung, then I would say go vegetarian.. Otherwise your not helping yourself to much, maybe just your beliefs. Meditation Teacher
  2. Choosing a Practice

    Well.. it took me about 2 years and a half to get the methods I needed to actually progress well, before that my methods were pretty scattered. I would say.. Do anything that keeps your emotions/mind/body at ease.. If your tense most of the time and on edge your probably not doing the right practice. Use basic meditation, clear your channels as maintenance, then use other methods to actually build and store energy.. If you lose your foundation you will eventually lose your progress. Most of all find what works for you. Meditation Teacher
  3. The LDT and being sick.

    I don't know why but whenever I have a feeling im getting sick or am sick, if I focus on my lower dan tien it gets worse. It can sorta've intensify it even. Its very confusing.. Thats the only place I can think to put the energy to feel better, then I end up feeling worse and sometimes dizzy.

    Hm no, I usually dont do a massage before horse stance so it may be a good idea.. Also tension in the shoulder may be it..

    I've been doing horse stance for a few months now.. on and off. But later in the stance.Say after the shaking begins and I keep going eventually I start to get a pain in the jade pillow area. Right side more then center. In the stance it can kinda've be unbearable. I do visualization with it to hold it longer. Not sure if im just moving to fast or what.

    Well before all this I diden't ever ignore my emotions (not that I do now). I felt them out thoroughly for own personal reasons. I was just saying with them manifesting at 4th chakra level I can easily/feel/observe emotions and not be so paralyzed by them. Like studdering and it being hard to speak.

    Thanks for the input, just I've always felt it at stomach level I just have to say its more like im observing the emotion at the 4th chakra and im not so stopped in my tracks when I get worked up/able to put it more aside and act.
  12. So recently I've been feeling all emotions at heart level, including the butterflies in the stomach feeling. Would anyone happen to know why? Is this normal?
