The guy wrote Eric was undergoing chronic depression or something like that? I thought that was on a sympathetic note? Knowing that could be a useful thing - especially if this is a result of his practice path or something?

Seth Ananda, did you find Falun beneficial? Would you mind sharing why you stopped it? Thanks!

I have heard/read about Wang Liping, John Chang, Chunyi Lin (that's how his name is spelled I guess?), but who is Santiago? Any link to read about him?

Someone posted this on another forum. Thought that's relevant.

Any one knows how to practice Sah Breath meditation? http://pyramidtexts.com/ C J Harvey has some vague details but not clear at all. Not sure if his book Short Path has details, but its too damn expensive or mostly out of print.

Most Underrated Systems, Teachers, Books, etc
Kunlun Enthusiast replied to Sloppy Zhang's topic in General Discussion
Anyone still practicing Falun Gong? Had any benefits out of it? It's free and all that and so if it's good, that would be awesome. Has any one compared it with any other type of Medical qigong, better, easier etc.? Also, anyone practicing it along with other qigong or internal arts? -
Can you please talk about Volumes 6 and 7 also?

Thanks! Sarcasm duly noted and appreciated

Oh man, dont even mention of that site. Like I wrote in another post, none of the instructors in California respond or are teaching even Kunlun. Jenny Lamb is the only option I think? Like two guys wrote in this page, I doubt anyone in that site responds at all, and if they do, want to teach somethin else but not Kunlun or what you ask, one guy wanted 600 bucks without red phoenix wtf. Sorry bro, just plain frustrated after listening to Max's interview where he said "he has good people out there trained to teach, this is water path where you see the teacher once and the practice balances itself, its a safe and self-paced gentle practice" etc. etc. None of the instructors on that site agree with Max. At least the one's in California don't, have given up teaching or are greedy and don't care a shit. If you look at meetup groups and other such sites online, you see more complaints on these guys monopolizing the practice. Dunno if all are like this or California is really the land of the devil. I've just given up on this Kunlun thing and gone to Primordial Qigong and SFQ. I don't care for such teachers no more. If they got certified but turned up like they are, the practice is no good?

Tenaga Dalamm Breathing Techniques?
Kunlun Enthusiast replied to enouch's topic in General Discussion
Thanks for sharing! But this looks pretty much like one of the Pranayama exercises I learnt during Iyengar yoga course. What is special or secretive about this? -
Lol! Either more Buddhists than Taoists here or Buddhists talk much more than Taoists. But it's all good, I guess.

Anyone has any experience with healing music? Something that can be heard on youtube, myspace or can be downloaded or bought would be great. I mean music which can heal and not simply relax. I've been told Akshara Weave has Reiki energy encoded in it. Anyone knows other such music that encodes healing? Thank ya ll http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GmqZqgjELBE

Question for Dukhrod and others. I have been reading Nan and William Bodri's book today and they say, watch your breath and everything will happen. I guess the mind can be purified or real nature realized etc. through this insight practice. But does simply watching breath help in healing physical issues as well? I am checking if anapana meditation can completely substitute qigong and tai chi altogether. Bodri seems to think so. I also saw a video Spiritual Reality which someone recommended on another thread. The video says the same, that once mind is thoughtless, energy is scuked in and all channels open. Enlightenment etc is not my current goal but stress relief, healing, health etc are. Any suggestions?

Mal, what is this exercise? Where can I learn it?

GARY CLYMAN DEMONSTRATES EMPTY FORCE!
Kunlun Enthusiast replied to enouch's topic in General Discussion
Scotty, exactly my sentiment! His web shop lists $ 800 for an year of Tai Chi training with him. And this book alone is 800 bucks. Not even sure if one can practice from the book. No listing of the contents of the book, what's expected of it etc. I have seen some power chi kung courses and stuff like that sold for 300 bucks online but this guy beats them all. -

GARY CLYMAN DEMONSTRATES EMPTY FORCE!

http://www.chikung.com/shop/ I was looking at his products to see if I can get something. That's some real expensive shit man. -
Scotty, Still using the gadget? They had a big sale and I got one. The manual seemed difficult to follow, but they have some youtube videos. I still didn't get a hang of it. So I breathe in - till whatever point I hear a ping....and then start breathing out - for an extended period of time, which they ask us to keep constant. I tried meddling with how long to exhale and still can't figure that out lol! I try to do like 100 breaths but after 25, run out of breath. At that point, I start breathing in and out of the mouth and nose like in kriya yoga and then go back to breathing through nose. I somehoe make those points but my back and tummy hurts! The manual says - no need to breathe deep, just breathe slow. But if you don't breathe deep, how do you breathe slow and extended? I don't get that! And does someone have any idea how to combine this with dan tien breathing or some meditation? I might as well use this time for that. Some tips on how to use Stress eraser would be totally helpful.

Any good source to buy Kombucha on the internet? Its pretty damn expensive in one Chinese grocery store near my place. A friend said its cheaper on internet with free shopping but dunno any good brands. The ones sold on amazon have real bad reviews.

Scotty, thanks man. I heard many good things about it. But here's my problem. Apart from some Kunlun and Spring Forest, I don't know no complicated Taiji or Chikung. I don't think I can get some really hard forms lol. Is this form easy to learn - let's say I get the video? And, you dont see any issues doing it with Kunlun? I am trying to do the standing forms, golden flower and kunlun 1 these days. You dont see any issues combining this form with them? Thank you!

Anyone here who has spontaneous movements without taking a class with the teacher? I am doing it from the book and no movements. What am I doing wrong?
