  1. Women's health, women wisdom

The tao comes naturally more to the female than the male. Because they embrace the yin and are naturally passive, opposed to the male yang that wants to compete/argue/fight.
  2. Inked...

Agreed. But i think it all depends on where the tatoo is placed. EX: Bicep w/tang top to expose it is obviously a tatoo for other ppl not ones self. EX: Inside of the wrist w/ a long sleeve shirt is for ones self.
  3. Inked...

The word TAO in the form of the yinyang symbol (hard to explain). EX: Each letter is formed from circles with the yinyang.
  4. Avoiding re-incarnation

Agreed.I wasnt looking for a defenitive answer, just wanted to spark conversation on the topic and pick ppls brains.
  5. Avoiding re-incarnation

A)Enlightenment is tricky...in essense enlightenment is just a spiritual elitism. Its born from the intellect. I personally feel u can go beyond enlightenment. B )...Meh i think just the opposite. IMO its de-evolution. Ur going backwards persay..like u flunked a test and have to repeat it. Those who understand that nature is the manifestation of the godforce become infinite thus theirs no need to re-incarnate them.
  6. The intellect clouds the tao...I see it merely as a tool to survive/means of income. Alot of great minds died bitter men, because they dwelled in the intellect far too long and needed everything to have some sort of rational. The majority of componets that make up the intellect are our own meaningless manifestations ex: cocept of time/date,language,etc.. are all things we created but are not pre-concieved to believe as real..they are learnt behaviors.

  8. Hey!

I began getting into taoism a few years ago and i find my self taking bits and pieces of taoism,& buddhism that resignate with me,and applying it to my everyday life to the best of my ability.I often find my self letting the "10,000 things" unfold without interuption and practice nothingness.Although it can be difficult to do so as you get older because the economy was obviously different B.C ,than it is now lol.Anyway this seems like a cool site hope to be here for a while! ttul
