  1. Jung Personality Test

Got INTJ for I don't know how long but took the test again today and it says INTP.
  2. Got Any Fiction Recommendations?

I went on a Vonnegut binge but I'm pretty sure my first book of his was Breakfast of Champions.
  3. What is your MBTI type?

    INTJ
  4. Tai Chi Foundations

Mike Martello has a bunch of videos up on his channel. The jibengong and New Mexico seminar footage are both CRITICAL to developing a martial arts/qigong lower body. A lot of Western practitioners do not have the lower body foundation to practice any Chinese martial art properly and these exercises are often ignored but are the very basis of practice. http://www.youtube.com/user/mikemartello/videos?view=0
  5. Tai Chi Foundations

Simon Thakur is an Australian teacher of movement therapy and a Gao bagua practitioner under Luo Dexiu. These Feldenkrais inspired exercises are excellent for assisting in creating a taiji body.
  6. Tai Chi Foundations

Charles Tauber has an excellent series of 10 videos in which he explains many of the foundations of taijiquan. Charles has studied Chen village lineage taiji and has recently started studying under Chen Zhonghua.
  7. I dated a girl that was very drawn toward Wicca. It was a bit of a sore point for me, I think that its history is bogus and her practice was shallower than a kiddie pool. Still, she was beautiful.
  8. You're going to need in person training, particularly for the massage and moving meditation.
  9. cant access general section

Runecats Explorer crashed on Windows 7.
  10. How to Learn a New Language

It depends on the person's age really. The Rosetta Stone program is great for CHILDREN up to the age of about 12. For adults I highly recommend Fluenz or Pimsleur. Also, empty your cup, foreign languages can have concepts that are completely foreign to your native language. Languages within your native tongue's linguistic group should be easier to learn than those completely outside.

  12. Tensed

I'm right there with ya, there are some muscles I've got that are always tense. A lot of it has to do with my health issues. I've found the body scanning from B.K. Frantzis' Water method material to be quite helpful. If you're looking for something without Señor Frantzis then I'd say Feldenkrais Method or Hanna Somatics (pretty much the same things) would be the thing to do.
  13. capoeira

I love capoeira but I am physically unable to play it. It looks like a blast. I have a Floreio instruction video collection off of Ido Portal's blog. He makes it all available for free. You can probably find a torrent of the whole collection.
  14. I would be most appreciative O Moderation Team.
  15. Hello

Remember to use the search feature. We have a lot of great members that aren't active any longer and many of the older threads are more helpful IMO than a lot of what currently passes for knowledge...
  16. Internal Martial Arts Resources

RSF is where the cool kids from the OLD Empty Flower hang out, smoke cigarettes, and drink rum behind the bleachers.
  17. Bagua and Taoism

    Wilkommen!
  18. Thank You Snow Jesus.

I am so glad it doesn't snow where I live. Perhaps one day a year we'll get a sprinkling that melts rather quickly.
  19. Internal Martial Arts Resources

I would ignore Tadzio's site. The fellow tried to organize a seminar and screwed over a lot of people without any communication afterward. Also, his style tried to make a good example on a kung fu reality TV show but one of their "masters" tried to have a good bout with a rather junior wing chun fellow and never landed a hit really and the wing chun fellow was better off in the fight by just backing up and keeping a closed guard.
