Jews are considered Gods chosen children, please disprove this.
-
The Vedas and Upanishads are shruti i.e. uncreated and eternal, ralis please disprove this.
-
What I see here are statements in regards to beings from divine realms commanding adherence to absolute rules for teaching/transmission. Can that be proven, or is the belief in such, blind faith? Can a rational discourse such as what Kabbalists insist on prove the existence of a divine realm that Kabbalists defer to without question? Are the so called divine realms pure myth? These are reasonable questions.

Yes, although I think that having said that there's a a huge difference between those who label themselves as Vedantins and de facto Vedantins - who aren't reliant on double standards.
-
I wasn't specifically mentioning Buddhism when I indicated that Dharmic religions consider it unnecessary to posit a creator god in order to understand the nature of afflictions. The Vedas and Upanishads are shruti i.e. uncreated and eternal.
-
You'd probably end up becoming a "Direct Path Advaita" devotee.
-
Neither has anyone been able to debunk my statement, indicating that Dharmic religions, consider positing a creator god as unnecessary to understanding the nature of afflictions.
-
I've noticed a lot of biased behavior and double standards by gatito, ralis, etc.
-
Bump.
-
I thought this thread would've been pitted by now.
-
Bump.

As of yet, no one has been able to debunk the point I made about Dharmic religions, considering it unnecessary to posit a creator god in order to understand the nature of afflictions. E-prime as a legitimate basis for criticism = paradoxical reasoning.
-
As expected this discussion is full of logical fallacies and double standards.
-
Yes, prejudice which can only be directed towards Buddhism despite the claims of the Vedas, the Torah, the Bible, the Koran being of divine origin.
-
Bump.
-
I hope you admit to your logical fallacies and double standards by then.
-
Some of the other posters weren't being nice when I pointed out that it wasn't pertinent for Dharmic religions to posit a creator god in order to understand the nature of afflictions.
-
I wasn't the one who specifically mentioned Buddhism, when I pointed out that all Dharmic religions, do not consider positing a creator god as pertinent to understanding the nature of afflictions.
-
I'll man up when you, gatito, etc. end the logical fallacies and admit to your double standards.
-
Because they are proving that you, ralis, etc. are biased and defer to double standards.
-
No, only that the criticism of Buddhism from you, gatito, etc are double standards.
-
Then this should also apply to Buddhism.
-
Which should also apply to the Vedas, the Torah, the Bible, the Koran.
-
This applies to the principles of Buddhism how?
-
You should admit that Vedanta is also faith-based like the Torah, the Bible, the Koran.
