  1. Something about reincarnation...

Agreed.. Reincarnation makes sense to me and i trust the masters who say its true, but i still wouldnt try to persuade anyone, as i don't have direct knowledge of it myself.
  2. My Buddhists workmate

I find that very peculiar. Even if they arent aiming for the highest they could still get a lot of mundane benefits from doing short practice.
  3. Spiritual Teachers...

If they havent got the experience but are trying to teach others, then yes i think its morally wrong. However if its like sharing between aspirants rather than a master/student relationship then i would think its ok.
  4. Third Eye

Alright alright no need to get irritated, maybe you focused on your heart point too much? LOL. No i wasn't "trolling" (you should look up the definition) jade pillow energetically is like the entrance to the brain, bringing too much energy there for obvious reasons can cause problems. Same thing with the point opposite heart.
  5. The front channel of the MCO.

Whenever i've had some sponateous activity in the central channel, there's also been some strong connection to a flow in the leg channel -> yongquan on the sole of the feet. Maybe feeling this out a bit will help to ground the energy causing your heart to race.
  6. Third Eye

Be careful about advising people to focus so much on point opposite heart and jade pillow, these are sensitive. Can cause issues for heart/brain.
  7. Excellent Thanks so much for posting
  8. Zhan Zhuang (站樁)

Did you invent that "perfect" form yourself? It sounds incorrect & possible damaging according to what i've learnt.
  9. From my reading of various Daoist texts, I often read how "this is a path of Great Dao, there are many side paths, but they dont lead to authentic spiritual realisation" - paraphrased of course but im sure many of you have read similar stuff. They also say the side paths can have quick "progress" and develop powers, but don't lead to proper liberation. How can you know what's what? So there are quite a few paths that have just one or a few methods & practices, which it's said thats all you need. Now this seems fine, but then you have the other neigong paths for example Master Wang Liping and Master John Chang which have succesive stages to the practice, and certain levels/attainments. So why make it so complicated if there are these other relatively simple methods which can get you to the same place? Are the "simple" paths an example of side methods? Im interested to hear what everyones views on this are.
  10. A vicious frog

    Hahah its so cute!
  11. ....

Oh yeah a cunning dog too with that screen name
  12. I wrote it down already Muahahah :ninja:
  13. Higher Spiritual Attainment

Good points from all, I think. I reckon you just have to go for a practice that honestly makes sense to you - not through egoic desires but geniunely from the heart feels right. Also the master should be an embodiment of the path/result that they are teaching, this will give you as a student a much much greater chance of success. Then its just up to you and how much you can give to this journey.
  14. In my opinion you should seek out a qigong system that has the effect of healing. I wouldn't mess with any alchemy or power building stuff quite yet. Some excellent methods i have experience of are Sifu Wong Kiew Kits cosmos qigong & Michael lomax's stillness movement. You can read about the success of a Stillness movement practioner and his medical qigong on here, his screen name is Kempomaster. I believe he does distant healing, so that could be an option.
  15. Sinfest Goes To White Castle

There can be good pain as natural part of your progress, there is also bad pain in which your body is telling you NO as you are harming yourself. If you are regularly causing yourself pain, i would stongly advise you to honestly look at what your doing and if it is helpful.
  16. Generally in proper alchemy systems, just visualising the orbit is seen as "empty water wheel" (water wheel = MCO). And generally is said to not accomplish anything, or even does some harm. If you feel a strong urge to practice it - then be practical and assess whether it is doing you any good, what do you want to achieve with it? Otherwise the MCO is supposed to start on its own, it's the natural way to refine the elixir that you've formed at the dan tian (dan = elixir , tian = field ) So once you have the foundation and have formed the dan, once the time is ripe it will start to move through the Ren and Du channels naturally, when you have this then circulating the MCO can be used as a practice. The reason you have so many questions, is because you are gathering info from many different sources and schools, whos methods all vary. I would advise you in general to understand what EXACTLY you want, then go and find a teacher who can help you, you then practice THEIR method and progress accordingly. If you want to dabble, finding the system you like, then go ahead and try out some different stuff, this is by no means useless. Best of luck
  17. It's a long shot, but...

I recently got a blocked ear, was reading about it and this seems to work for some people; 1. Breathe in through your mouth 2. Pinch your nose shut 3. Breath out your nose (still pinched shut) 4. Then release the air Supposedly it unblocks the eustachian tube of the ear.
  18. Amazing video - Guo Shifu

Thanks for posting the vids, indeed he reveals the "secret"; practicing the foundation excercises for hours and hours without ceasing, theres no way you can build that level of internal power otherwise. I'd love to experience being uprooted with a gentle turn of the arm, seems like some people in other arts love to act this out when none of them actually have the internal skill to manifest this ability.
  19. New healer on the scene?

Bahaha greedy greedy! just kidding Well from his site i wouldn't have believed him straight off, but considering your experience, sounds really awesome! Good to spread the info of capable healers / teachers.
  20. I would say seeking out pain, just as chasing after pleasure, would be an incorrect method. However under the guidance of a teacher pushing past barriers can cause pain, in which case you don't let it halt your progress.
  21. Yeah im off too, far too much time being wasted on the net in general. Its time to make some progress. best of luck with your path.
  22. Foundations

    1. Relaxing 2. Being present 3. Focus 4. Determination/perseverance 5. Stability of mind If we're referring to some traditional Taoist alchemy then as an achievement it could be returning all your prenatal jing/ chi, and reaching stage of non-leakage
  23. what is "red Phoenix"

Interestingly, this morning i had an extremely vivid dream, in which i was at some kind of kunlun seminar. It was funny, in the dream i exclaimed how i had no idea how i'd ended up here, i felt i'd vaguely signed up for it but i didn't remember anything leading up to the seminar. If i get to that level of questioning in a dream i usually realise it is such, but man this one had tricked me completely. Well some cool stuff happened, makes me quite a bit more interested in this school now, as i hadn't seriously considered learning it before. Could be a sign that Max is coming to the UK??
  24. Tenaga Dalam/Lin Kong Jin/

I would seriously question any system based around lin kong jin as a core. Especially promising that you would get this kind of ability. From my sources and understanding you may only get an inkling of this kind of power through 10-15 years dedicated training of certain chi kung (nei kung whatever) methods. Even then im gonna go out on a limb and say this kind of thing can not be achieved by just anyone, especially in modern times. Not everyone has the in built capacity to become an olympic athelete or reach the higher levels of academia. Some masters who may have had this kind of ability were realised as very talented from a young age and have trained intensely since then. Still if it's what you want to train i would say go ahead - But expect to invest ridiculous amount of time & effort into it - or risk becoming delusional like the vids of the yellow bamboo people..
  25. Confusing experience.

Yeah good point. Ive found an excellent way to do a "fire" practice is in a water way, i.e deeply relaxing, deep state of mind and really getting into it, force without forcing.
