I just learned from More Pie Guy that As for contacting him you might be able to through googling John Chang and finding his school on the 'net if they have a web page. I dont have any contact information in my rolodex (yes i still have one laugh it up ) on John Chang but I believe I have brushed shoulders with him in the past. So he doesnt know me. Im a nobody really.

Hmm I know the forum tries not to judge instructors but I havnt heard of anyone by that name. Doesnt mean that hes not legit. There are quite a few who have made long distance trips to renowned masters to learn. I dont know all of them. Asking a high level master might not be a good thing here in the forum (asking about other masters). But you could ask for a referral in the taoism discussion forum from someone who it seems is making a lot of progress, but sometimes it is hit and miss. I dont know of anyone who actually does training over the internet who still does anymore, may not advise that type of thing. It has been my experience that the right teacher tends to either fall in your lap, or if yopu make the effort to travel you usually find the right one or if its not meant to be it doesnt happen. Great post. I especially liked this quote. Pink Light works wonders. Maybe next time you see the same model car, it might mean something similar for you? I have some similar experiences but recently I saw a lot of Hummer2 vehicles then it didnt mean anything. Sometimes the physical signs are weird that way. Some time back I saw or notice a lot of a certain model of vehicle... next week i almost got run over on my bike by one of them. Maybe it also could have meant to buy one, they were on sale at a particular place. I agree.

I have two books and a Movie to share. Shaman of Tibet by Winged Wolf is about a man who becomes angry and vengeful. He learns from an evil master to take out his vengence. Later he begins to change his point of view and leaves the evil temple. Very good book if you are open minded. Darth Bane: Path of Destruction is a story about Dessel who lives a life of pain and misery. Having a natural affinity with the dark side of the force he narrowly escapes death and injury many times. A story of oppression, finding a path, becoming lost and finding yourself again and being able to transcend the limits of others. Depends upon if you like that kind of thing or not. National Lampoons "Stoned Age" Rated R in the U.S. This movie is not about getting stoned. In fact the original name offended someone wo was Christian so they had to change the name in the States. Abroad it is called "Homo Erectus". It is about a caveman "Ishbo" who has new and innovative ideas. But because no one is willing to try new inventions or test his new ideas he has developed eventually they try to kill him. For the open mined and yes there is nudity if you have issues with that kind of thing. Hope you enjoy these, but I may be wrong. Some us have issues with the accumulated destructions caused by the american government over the last 215-220 years. There is no denying that fact, and my research into many large scale land forming projects in the 1800s and even hush hush ones in the 1960s has not increased my confidence in current societies condoning those acts. Though I cannot directly speak out against those who have been the cause as their counterparts are very politically aligned today and have noting to do with the current administration. I can say that belief sometimes poisons the minds of the weak. (If someone should point fingers in this topic, may he/she be the one to blame.) The dark side. It is not one sect. It is not one religion, class or distinction. It happens when one uses religion or politic'ing to reach or bring people under someones control or goals. A good example would be an appeal "god would vote this way". When in reality the person is a member of a secret group that does things against your current american christian religion. There is no room to talk about the dark side here. I am certain any type of talk about the darkside here would only allow people to create fallacies about you or me or others just because the dark side is talked about. Hence never again for me in public on this forum. People who practice the "dark side" dont talk about it. Why should they? They are too busy spreading their lies.

Its just been my experience that in talking with people, you may have developed spiritually to a point. Then as has been my experience in a few different places on the 'net they ask who you teacher. Then they find anything they can wrong with those teachers. This leads me to believe there is no common brotherhood among Taoists, and that for the most part the great majority are fighting and killing each other. What does this mean? Why all killing and make dead?

Maybe. I predict one third of the oceans will become tainted by oil (blood) first. Then after they finally do something about it... The resulting madness will cause people to become emotionally angry and bitter (hence all demons released). Fun stuff to come I guess.

Very good CowTao. My end of High School was a blur to me but I was required to take Psychology my Junior Year in Lansing at the time. Im kinda a drifter I suppose that is unimportant. But I believe back then it refered to something called "Maslows Heirarchy of Needs". I became so fond of this and found it so intriguing I researched the author who was fond of Taoist philosophy. Under Maslow's concept needs never go away, and needs are a part of the ego. Therefore it is pointless to try to eradicate the ego. We might forget to eat, or drink water and then pass on before we are ready.
