AYP - Please tell me about your experience with this method
mike1234 posted a topic in General Discussion
I've been to the AYP site many times over the last several years, but I've never tried their technique. Please tell me about your experience using this method, and please compare it to other methods. Is it safe? How to make it safer? What are the risks? Does it work? What are your complaints? What are the benefits? I've been keeping it simple for the last few days with just doing: Spinal Breathing I AM Mantra Are those two technique enough to get things flowing over time. I also do the root lock and the mudra for the 3rd eye, but that's it. Thanks. -
I've been doing something similar around my prostate for pleasure. It gives me several orgasm. I just put my attention on my prostate and feels energy through out it. I also do the same thing with the nerves around the perineum and inner penis. Self-Sexual!

I had mine circulate on its own after doing anal breathing. I got an automatic -- dot dot dot jolt jolt jolt from the tailbone to the top of my head, but it didn't flow down automatically...

There are people we like before we even get to know them because their personality and joy just explodes out from them. When I think charisma, I think George Clooney's poise and charm, and Julia Roberts smile ala 'Pretty Woman' era Julia Roberts. When I think presence, I think of Clint Eastwood, Denzel Washington, Morgan Freedman, and Daniel Craig. Joy + Confidence + Fire = Boom!

Your negativity isn't any better than the arrogant Christians! -
I hate to seem argumentative, but I grew up in a fundamentalist household, and I know for a fact that many Baptists and other Christians would be turned off by any mentioning of Monastic practices, Church Fathers (A true fundamentalist will tell you that there's not father, but God They would not be happy about hearing anything that's based on Catholicism or any sect that isn't their own. If it ain't in the King James version of the bible, then it's a false doctrine Just speaking from experience. Your second half was spot on, and a first meeting isn't the place to get into religion. If you don't want to delve into a religious discussion, then just tell them so. You will be fine.

I have experience with NLP and minored in communications in college. What you said will come off as being patronizing in that situation. There's a more skillful way to do what you suggested, but it would need a better explanation than what you have given. Matter of fact, I suggested that method as a possible technique that singer Chris Brown could use when hounded about his felony battery charges against a woman: Yes, what I did was awful and I never expect her or anyone to forgive me... I don't even forgive myself, and I will never live what I have done down. I am a broken person with plenty of faults, but please allow me to share the only thing of value that I have with the world --- my music. I use such techniques everyday in my marketing business... Except I use people's faults and insecurities against them. I call it Hurt Marketing

Any examples that aren't just coincidence or a confirmation bias? One of my core beliefs is that I can conjure any type of mental emotional state that allows me to transform myself into the kind of person that can achieve my goals. I prefer this to throwing spirit darts out into the world, and waiting. I can't approach the world as a beggar.

You seem a little selfish:) You are smart and capable, yet you choose to only work 20 hrs/weeks, and you plan on living off of government programs (foodstamps), and private assistance programs that should help people that are truly in need. Your plan is to become a parasite on need based programs, and to take someone's spot who truly needs help. Please tell me that I misunderstand you!

Taomeow's #1 is very patronizing and might make them angrier. Just tell them that you do not want to discuss religion, and that you respect their beliefs and would like it if they would respect yours.

I don't know if it works or not, but I'm sure that any success from such a thing is rooted in common sense: Constantly focus on exactly what you want, and take action. I don't believe that you can just send something out into the universe and sit on your butt.

I'm doubtful that that kind of knowledge can be found in a book. Super powers escape us for awhile longer. I guess they really are one in the same because I remember offering him a way to hedge his financial risk of having received a fake, and he ignored me. We could have made it so that he would have recouped most or all of his money from the purchase of that manual. Who wouldn't accept that offer?

I haven't been here in months--- Did you guys ever do the group buy or something and people got burned?

I can't even do a good half lotus. My groin/ hip sockets are inflexible, and I have a bad knee from running into a pole on my bicycle. It will probably take me 5 years to train myself to sit in full lotus. I practice doing a low squat to limber myself up.

Rickson Gracie Yoga and energy breathing practice

No matter how you label it, fighting comes down to punching, kicking, kneeing, stomping, biting, scratching, elbowing, poking, pushing, and wrestling. 99.9999999% of internal martial arts do not incorporate any kind of sparring, and do not foster the violent intent that is needed to win an altercation. MMA/BBJ are often taught as a ring SPORT, so these guys are use to the whole *preamble* of a fight: They are use to squaring off and agreeing to fight --- This is not what a true self-defense practitioner trains. The pluses for the MMA/BJJ group is that they spar with violent intent--- NO they don't kill each other, but it's none of that pussy-footing you see in a lot of traditional martial arts. Another major PLUS is that they are conditioned to FIGHT. In times of stress you rely on your training. If your training only consists of some sloppy drills with out any violent intent or sparring--- Good luck. My theory is that TMAs are meant for self-defense, not the ring. This means that a self-defense practitioner avoids the whole preamble of a fight: Preamble is described as trash talking, squaring off, taking a stance, and agreeing to a fight. Side stepping the preamble means that when someone becomes a threat to your safety in ANYWAY you take action--- You take them out without any hesitation-- No preamble! Self-defense doesn't mean you wait for the guy to throw a blow, if he/she/it approaches you in a hostile manner (invades your space) take them out! A couple of states in the US have now extended their laws for self-defense to include any kind of threat. Good guys don't start *hit, so normally their fights start with someone attacking them in some way-- Don't wait on the attack! Get your arse out of there are stop the BG before he has a chance to do anything. That's my theory of self-defense-- Most martial arts work great in the NO PREAMBLE system of defense, but not so well in the ring or in extended agreed upon fights. I believe that the OP with the super secret external qi enhanced fighting style was able to beat his opponents because MOST people do not know how to deal with a sudden flurry of strikes. The same kind of attack would probably wouldn't work within the preamble nature of the ring or agreed upon street fight. -
I wonder what are the implications of energizing the testicles on procreation. Good or Bad? Encourage your best swimmers...

Licorice ROOT (not the candy) is a great replacement for the modern toothbrush. It's gentler, it polishes the teeth better than a standard toothbrush, you don't need to use toothpaste because it is an antiseptic, and it makes your breath very sweet and fresh. I always get comments on how white and shinny my teeth are... It's also gentle enough to brush your tongue with. You can also use apple cider vinegar as a mouth wash. It's acidic enough to kill most bacterial.

There's a lot of power in the "WAY" (what Jesus actually taught). I can't promise you chi balls or jumping over houses, but practicing as Jesus did helped me completely destroy a tumor. -
Anger is strong with this one. I've been in a month long FTW funk. Too bad apathy isn't listed.

I also like the idea that a highly advanced master can be more than a hippie tofu eating veg head. I've read countless posts on this forum where people get angry because they are expected to pay for training, then they chime in with all the wimpy attributes they expect from a master. It reminds me of a yogameditation (Wan Qi) [smart man, but not a master] video where he was selling a Ferrari, and a lot of the viewers cried that a spiritual person shouldn't own that kind of car. For some, poverty and being a pushover are prerequisites for spiritual attainment. -
I don't know if I believe in magick, but I know that it's possible to project energy into people. I was watching a Santi remote healing video last night, and the healing energy jumped right into my enlarged clavicle, into my shoulder socket that has been causing me pain for over a year, and down my arm. It felt similar to how it feels when a doctor gives you a shot in the ankle to relieve the pain-- It hurts and feels like you are being pumped full of liquid. I'll let you guys know if I receive the 1 million dollar prize that I've summoned to me.

So you are looking for some taoist answer to why you failed at running a cafe, why you couldn't make more money with a medical assistant diploma, and why you've average 8k/yr over a 19yr span... Your situation isn't special, and it is not beyond the common sense answers that were given. Good luck-- Let's hope that the next 19yrs will be better.
