  1. Introduction to Chinese Taoist Medicine DVD

What a great opportunity to add a Taoist Neuroenergetic Balancing Case Report. It seems these cases always come in bunches and is sometimes difficult to remember on that would mean most to those reading so perhaps i will offer more than one case report. Case Info: Approx 5o yr old male client - occupation - Western Trained Medical Physician. The client called me requesting help for a pain syndrome that he was currently having. (Note: previously I had treated the clients daughter successfully for asthma) The Doctor reported that he was having severe mid-back / thoracic to cervical spine pain with burning sensations that travelled across his scapula (shoulder blade) as well as numbness and burning pain that travelled down his left arm and affected his forefinger and thumb. The doctor also noted that he was having pain travel down his left leg - consistent with the bladder channel and was having cramps in his left calf muscle. Treatment: Taoist Neuroenergetic Balancing along with "Off-Body" Qi projection techniques from the Stillness-Movement Lineage. Treatmentime approx 1 hour and 15 minutes. Throughout the treatment the patient would complain of "Hot Spots" along the spinal nerves and he would fall into various states of deep sleep. During the treatment I monitored the entire body and noted a continual eruption of "Sick Qi" being displaced from the body. Typically when I hit a "hot spot" I would continue treatment on the spot until I felt the time to move on..and throughout I would see the "Sick Qi" coming out the bottom of feet, side of the leg, finger tips, and top of the head. After the Taoist Balancing I did approx 15 minutes of Qi projection to Triple Warmer, Small Intestine, Large Intestine, Lung, Bladder, Kidney, and Spleen. Results: The client reported being very dizzy following treatment - 1st had to calm the dizziness. He then tested to see if he could move his arms and back freely, rotate his neck side to side, and walk thoughout the room with the calf muscle locking up. His response - WOW Brion , you did it! I can't believe it! The pain is gone - no more burning sensation, no numbness, no muscle pain, nothing. Pretty cool results - I suggested that he take the time to get a bottle of water and run some water through his system and take a minute to sit and regroup before seeing his patients. He also admitted that he had been under a great deal of stress lately and when asked about those concerns he mentioned that he felt like the weight had been lifted off his shoulders. Follow-up: I asked for feedback over the next several days - so he could let me know if the pain syndrome stays away - if not we may need one additional treatment. I will personally follow-up with the doctor on this upcoming week. As of yesterday and today he was extremely satisfied with the results. Thanks, Brion aka Kempomaster
  2. Gift of the Tao II Neigong Movements

I just got back from a trip to the beach - Hilton Head Island, South Carolina and I feel the need to report on practicing G.O.T 1 and 2 on the beach. Of course Hilton Head island is a very unique beach in that during low tide and in sime places even during high tide there is a huge expanse of solid beach available to walk on, run on, bike on, etc - by huge during low tide most areas of the beach offer several hundred yards of well packed sand until you get to the waters edge. It seems to me to be more beach space than any other beach that I have visited. So every time I visit this beach I practice a great deal of Stillness-Movement both in the condo I stay in and on the beach. However, the G.O.T. movements on the beach seem to be different than any other area that I have practiced these movements. The Qi gets extremely thick - very fast. For instance during G.O.T 1 by the time I am doing the "Wall of Qi" the Qi is beginning to get so thick that it is as if my hands are pushing through a very thick paste then as I grab Qi from the earth with my fingertips and pull it upward and then float down on it - it's more like I have to push my hands downward. This is incredible stuff - as I shift dimensionally very quickly and thank goodness no one stops to talk to me they just observe as I am not certain that I would be able to talk. Now I have been practicing G.O.T. 1 and 2 for some time - I attended many workshops and supplemented with the DVD (G.O.T. 1) - I found the DVD to be very helpful in that Michael broke the moves down and you can study 3 at a time. That way you learn those 3 moves and then go on and learn additional moves (3 at a time) and eventually you can put it all together. The G.O.T. is much simpler to learn then many of the Martial Arts Kata that I have learned - several of the Kempo Kata have 75 - 100 or more moves in the Kata. By comparison, The G.O.T. 1 has about 18 moves and G.O.T 2 has a few more when we consider the Sequential Energy Center Activation Sequence but both are something that you can achieve by attending a workshop or two and by supplementing your study with the DVD. Then when you think you've got it -- maybe attend one more workshop and fine tune things - then they are yours to practice whenever you want. Now - G.O.T 2 on the beach. Well I think there must be a huge energy vortex at Hilton Head - the Qi gets so thick with G.O.T 2 that it almost hurt my shoulders to push the Qi and I again shifted energetically very quickly. To try to compare this to my home practice - I like to practice the G.O.T each one in series of 3. So I do each one three times. However, on the Hilton Head Beach - once was enough. As I said - it would have been tough to hve a discussion with anyone and I could feel this huge surge of energy and CALMNESS. I was so Calm - my wife saw me afterwards and said - Damn, what have you been doing? Just some Qigong! Are you going to answer me or not? I thought I did....followed by a big shhhew - me releasing air. So I highly recommending learning and practicing either or both of the G.O.T series as i have never found any other Movement Qigong to come close to giving me the buzz they do. Also if you can practice in Nature - you will doubly enjoy it. The trees will begin to get involved, birds come over to see what you are doing, on more than one occasion I have had a hawk appear overhead and swirl in the Qi that I was working - pretty cool stuff. What about Stillness- Movement on Hilton Head? I will tell you about that soon -- as well as the group of horses that lined up for some Taoist Medicine.... Thanks, Brion aka Kempomaster
  3. I want to echo Michaels words - "Joy to Have" "Joy to Witness" - what an incredible workshop as i witnessed so many people have an awakening to Stillness-Movement and begin to get a peek at what they can become with this amazing Lineage of Qigong. We started the workshop with some excellent introduction to the 8 Pieces of Brocade and several taoist Qigong practices then moved into "The Gift of the Tao". I saw so many of the students het that Oh...now I understand expression on their faces as they had been working the movements as a result of having received the DVD and studied diligently. However, once you attennd a workshop and "FEEL" the movements and "FEEL" the Energetics then you begin to understand the potential of the movements. I love seeing the looks on everyones face as they begin to learn the meaning of the moves and begin to expand the potential of their energy body. Later on the 1st day - Sitting Stillness-Movement. 22 people in 1 room bring in Light , powerful, bright, Golden-White, Purple, Blue, you name it filled the room. Michael - projected energy to each person and began to transfer the Energetic Lineage to each student. Dantians heated up, students heated up, the room heated up, many of us had experiences like we have never had. What a tremendous introduction to High Level Qigong. I think that many were actually transformed on the 2nd day when we did Standing Stillness-Movement. It was at this point that I noticed how most were beginning to let go and let the energetics take over. Student after student had been able to stop the chatter in their mind and allow this wonderful lineage begin to induce changes in them as the energy flowed into their bodies - they shook and swayed about letting the Energetics open them up to many new possibilities - and perhaps kick some stagnant/sick Qi out of their body. Afternoon of day 2 - we practiced Tree Qigong. We were headed to a certain tree that Michael had practiced Qigong around/with but another group was still with the tree, so I made a snap decision and we headed to a big Warrior Tree. Everyone greeted the tree with respect and our friend (tree) reciprocated by opening up his energy field and expanding to welcome all of us. I believe all of those in my group had a great experience with the tree. One young man wasn't quite feeling the Energy and we re-approached, then suddenly - bam - he got it! We were all very pleased with our interaction with the tree and hated to leave but we needed to get back to work on additional movements. Lucky for me that tree is just around the corner from my Martial Arts/Qigong studio and I can walk and visit him and maintain the friendship. Day 3 -- kind of a blurr for me - Everyone got a chance to be introduced to Medical Qigong - we used Water Fu, Direct Qi projection, and later were introduced to Taoist Medicine. What amazed me was how well everyone took to the Medical Qigong. Several people that I worked with were either attending their 1st workshop or had been to perhaps one other workshop - yet their Qi projection was very good and they were willing to take direction and showed the serious attitude/approach that one needs to have in order to work as a Medical Qigong Practitioner. I want to thank everyone that attended - I know it takes time and effort to organize your travels and it takes time and effort to earn the money to pay for your trip and the workshop fee. I believe that everyone would agree that the 3 full days of the workshop were a great return for all the effort to get to the workshop. I want to give a special thanks to My Friends from London - Brett and Sing -- it was a special joy to have you come and visit with me. I especially enjoyed watching the transformation of both of you as you practiced Stillness-Movement and G.O.T. movements and began to get a deeper feel for what these can do. You are both doing excellent with your Medical Qigong - just keep at it. Practice! Practice! Practice! You'all will gain the confidence you need to be very successful with this lineage. Thanks again, Brion aka Kempomaster
  4. Who to train with?

If you truly want to learn Qigong and yourself become an accomplished Medical Qigong prctitioner then you need to invest your time and effort studying with a legitimate Qigong teacher, Michael is knowledgeable, compassionate, and extremely Talelnted Qigong Master. The beauty of studieng with such a talented Teacher if that your learning can be a vastly incredible experience where you will want to have the weekend las a month and be dissappointed that it is only a three day seminare. Facts are facts: You simply can have a DVD or book take the place of the teacher. The teacher has gained valubale experience from their teacher{teachers} and so. We cant begin to measure the ability that Michael has , with some of his visionarie ability when he works with pts and can tell things that happened in their past that shaped their lives. Almost like a psychic! But he is correct over and over! The value of training with a teacher is that you get the inside look into their Qigong system - they help you to understand the material, Let you see how it can be useful. Teach you how it can be useful! Whereas, the limitation of a DVD or book is that it can share theory and ideas but the book/dvd can't always help you put into action from the material you are reading or the DVD you are watching. The support materials - dvd, books, etc are there to do just that - support the system, not train someone how to do the system. In Michael Lomax - you have a Master that was trained by a Master of taoist Medicine and you had asnother Master of Chinese Medical Qigong that also trained Michael for many years. These Masters in response to Michaels time and effort, his morals, and his calmness chose him and trusted to have him represent Stillness-Movement and Taoist Medicine in the West. That is High Ranking Masters - endorsing , trusting, Michael to bring the Limeage to the U.S. and share it with those that wanted to learn it. So, if you are wanting to make an investment in Qigong -- to be a Healer -- make an investment that you will be proud of ---Choose to attend a Michael Lomax Seminar, while there come and talk with me about the new skills you have developed and you will be glad that you chose to learn from the Master and not a book or dvd. Sure Michael offers books and DVDs but these are supplements to the in-person learning and never meant to take the place of class time. If you are curious about the different healings - I have made several post of case reports - I post the case reports to allow others to see what type of issues need our help and you can get an ideas of the kind of Medical Qigong ability that you might develop with your sincere time and effort. I would suggest to click on my name - Kempomaster - and then scroll through some of my comments but spend extra time reading the case reports. And of course if anyone has any questions I will be happy to address them soon. Thanks Kempomaster
  5. Who to train with?

I am a senior student of Teacher Michael Lomax and would highly recommend his Stillness-Movement Qigong. Prior to training with Michael I have had many years of Martial Arts training with many highly regarded Masters of various Martial Arts (Masters, Grandmasters, Professors etc) and over time I believe I have developed a working knowledge of what a great teacher is. Michael Lomax fits into the category of great teacher - he is very real world and does not insist that his students call him master just that they be respectful. And in terms of the Power and simplicity of the system -- I couldn't imagine that any other system could be a better fit for someone looking for an excellent Qigong system that is not overly complicated to learn. Yes - as in anything worthwhile you do need to invest time and effort to become proficient with Stillness-Movement, but, you don't have to learn a complicated set of movements to become good with Stillness-Movement. Now, Michael also teaches a "Movement System" - "The Gift of the Tao" and these movements are based on the energetic patterns from Stillness-Movement Meditation - but, the Meditation is the foundation of the System - Meditation and the Qi projections that Michael does at seminars to begin transferring the Lineage to the student are the basis of the system (Lineage). So, the movements are purely optional and are complimentary to the system. The Git of the Tao 1 has 18 movements that do take some practice to learn, but, a person could learn the 1st three movements and then practice them after they have practiced their stillness-movement and get plenty of benefit from those moves and then take their time in learning the rest of the Gift of the tao moves. I usually practice the Gift of the Tao moves when I may have 15 minutes before I have to go somewhere or before leaving for work - I find that the movements put me into an extra calm state and may help me to think more clearly. They are great to practice anytime -- had a tense morning -- practice 10 minutes of the Gift of Tao at lunch - you will feel better. What is particularly amazing about Michael and his seminars are those that are interested in becoming healers usually have some ability to heal others after the 1st seminar. That kind of ability is almost unheard of - after 1 weekend. Now what I have found is that Stillness-Movement is a "True Lineage". I have had the type of patient directed to me that I could handle at the time - based on my previous healing experiences. For example - after the 1st weekend seminar I had small issues that came my way -- people with headaches, minor body aches etc and i was able to practice the healing techniques that I had just learned. So, I spent more time practicing the S-M meditation and paid attention as it appeared people were being directed to me for healing. The more treatments that I performed the more were directed my way and typically the more complicated they became. But, my success rate started and has stayed at close to 100%. Truly amazing stuff. I have learned to embrace the system - dedicate myself to S-M lineage and dedicate myself to putting in as much time and effort as I possibly can. How much time you put in is up to you. and Likewise what you get out of the Lineage is up to you. I believe a person is better off studying one system - give it time to gel - 3 months, 6 months, 1 year. Then determine if the system is right for you and by doing so you will benefit more in the long run. So, what happens over the course of a weekend at a Michael Lomax seminar? The 1st two days are what I like to think of as energetic days. We spend time practicing Stillness-Movement Meditation (sitting, standing, etc and receiving energetic projections from the Lineage Holder - Michael) and will spend time learning Gift of the Tao movements. We also (weather permitting) will take a walk and practice Tree Qigong (interaction with a tree - not taking energy from a tree). So the 1st two days are spent cultivating Qi and usually we'll have a demonstration or two of the use of Medical Qigong. Then the 3rd day is dedicated to learning Medical Qigong techniques from the S-M lineage and introduction to "Taoist Medicine". So what you get from your investment is incredible and the more time and effort you decide to invest - well the greater your return. You do gain additional ability by returning for additional seminars - Michael will work with you at that point that you have achieved - teach you new techniques that you are ready for, help hone your skills on the movements, and yes - the foundation - provide you with additional energetic projections to share more of the lineage with you. Lastly - Michael is available to you after the seminar - if you have a question or a need you can call him and he will call you back. The best way to find out if this Lineage is right for you would be to attend a seminar - then invest some time practicing - I think you will be pleased with your choice. Thanks, kempomaster
  6. Studies document energy coming from trees :)

Michael Lomax has taught Tree Qigong at his seminars for some time now. However, the interaction with the tree is more of one of mutual respect. We will typically practice Standing Stillness-Movement in the aura of the tree -- we do not take energy from the Tree just as a person would not step up to another person and tap into their energy, rather in our qigong practice we envelop the area in Qi for us and the tree to benefit from. We have gone back to areas that we practiced Qigong with the tree(s) for a follow-up visit 6 months later and found a previously injured tree from perhaps a harsh winter to be thriving and looking incredibly healthy. We greet the tree as we would an old friend - some of the extra large "Old Warrior Trees" are not always interested to see us, but, most are curious and begin to open up as we share our energy with them. As we bring in Qi for us and the tree - the tree's aura will expand and typically other trees nearby will also begin to expand their energy field. It is great to practice Qigong outside - bring in the Qi for all to share - I have had flowering trees that also had been injured due to ice storms in winter - that flowered up beyond imagination following lots of Qigong near the tree. Thanks, Kempomaster
  7. The following article appeared today in my local paper it came from wire services out of New York. Painkiller sales Soar around U.S. "Sales of the nation's two most popular prescription painkillers have exploded in new parts of the country, an Associated Press analysis shows, worrying experts who say the push to relieve patients' suffering is spawning an addiction epidemic" The article goes on to describe how the DEA figures has shown a dramatic increase in the sale of OxyContin, Percocet, and Percodan from the year 2000 to 2010 with some areas around the country seeing a 16 fold increase in sales. Other areas of the country are experiencing a significan increase in the sales of hydrocodone the ingredient in Vicodone and similar products. This increase in sales has also coincided with an increase in overdose deaths and pharmacy robberies. The article maintains that according to the Center for Disease Control that these products accounted for 14,800 overdose deaths in 2008. So with so many problems arising from the use of extremely powerful narcotics do we have such a problem getting mainstream acceptance of Medical Qigong and Taoist Medical Application? Obviously - Pain is and has become a huge problem in the U.S. and other countries. One physician that I spoke with today described the problem of treating patients for pain syndromes as being very complex. He stated that he feels the need to address their pain issues but does in fact wish he had alternatives to pain med's that are highly addictive. He added, that in todays society he is afraid that if he doesn't address the patients pain and prescribe something for them -- they may try to sue for malpractice, yet, if he prescribes pain med's for all that seek pain med's then the DEA will come to pay him a visit and may revoke his precribing priviledges. So, he is forced prior to initiating treatment to have the patient take a drug screening test to see if they are currently on legal or illegal drugs and this just adds to the cost of treatment for those that are legitimately suffering from pain and need help with their situation. Knowing that this problem (pain med abuse) will continue to grow in our society, I suggest we do more to inform the Medical Community and the Public regarding the use of Medical Qigong for the treatment of pain. Previously on this forum - I have presented many case reports on the use and success of Medical Qigong for pain. Tell me what you think of this growing problem and how best to inform the Public about Medical Qigong.
  8. Pain Killer Sales Soar - Why not try Medical Qigong

Steve - thank you for stepping forward with your comment. You are correct that quality outcome based studies are needed before Medical Qigong is more widely accepted as a complementary alternative for patients. In addition, it will take many years IMO before Commercial Insurance carriers decide to cover this type of treatment. Even though Acupuncture has had more acceptance in the Medical Community - few Insurance Carriers will actually cover an acupuncture treatment. Now - this may be changing, and some Insurers may be willing to cover an acupuncture visit with limitations as to the number of visits and amount reimbursed which would be reasonable. However, many still choose not to offer coverage in this area - may be optional for the patient to purchase such coverage in the future. Patients as you know can be funny -- we had a patient at a seminar that had a long laundry lists of health problems. He mentioned he had been trying acupuncture and his insurance would cover it at a co-pay to him of $20. When asked if he thought the acupuncture was helping his health problems - he replied - No. We spent approx 1 and 1/2 hours treating the individual and addressed all of his complaints. After the treatments - the patient was asked how he felt post treatment - his skin color had improved, his eyes were much clearer, and he commented that his gut pain was settled and overall he hadnt felt that good for over a year. Sounds great - his next question was - Will insurance cover this? The answer - of course - not yet - but you could receive the same treatment from an Experienced Practitioner (me) the same one that treated you - but for slightly more than your current $20 co-pay. He opted to stay with the treatment that he stated didn't work because it was only a $20 co-pay. I know I would be happy to volunteer my services to be used in an outcomes based study. I know also that these studies can be done multi-centered so if it is arranged in several states there could be less travel. Big question though - is who has the ability to organize such a study. Set parameters, recruit patients, etc, etc and PAY for it. I think we need someone that is wealthy that wants to help further Medical Qigong and has some connections that can help move this forward. Any ideas -- would be welcomed. thanks, Kempomaster
  9. ............

How can we understand what a persons pain is to them? If we haven't felt that pain? Good God nobody would be able to deal with anybody else issues, Doctors couldn't treat patients - no I haven't had Parkinsons yet, psychologists couldn't treat manic/depressive - no I see spirits , but, don't have wild mood swings -- Wait let me go out and get in a train wreck so I can understand how you feel... of course these are dramatic examples but you get my point. We don't have to physically experience the issue to have an understanding of the problem. No you dont have to have had the identical experience at all. You gentle reader, should actually attend a Medical Qigong seminar and begin to learn about healing. The more Healing work you do..the more time and effort you put into practice..you don't have to have had the same hammer hit my toe so now I know how it feels to have compassion and understanding for a persons pain or other dis-ease state. When we become Talented Energetic Healers our knowledge of each situation develops - as I have said before - such that we can feel what the person is feeling -- even at a much deeper level than my toe is throbbing -- we feel their hopes, fears, etc so we know we are treating more than just a painful shoulder or whatever may be hurting. Many times our path to pain wasn't just a simple I dropped the heavy crate on my foot and as such I have pain - but that can be the case. So as a healer we develop a deeper understanding of these issues and as such - treat the whole person -- mind, body, spirit! Kempomaster
  10. Pain Killer Sales Soar - Why not try Medical Qigong

I want to add that if you re-read parts of my post(s) I in fact said that I would like to see Western Medicine and Medical Qigong partner - not compete against each other. The patients that we typically get are those that have been to several Medical Doctors and tried a variety of Medicines as well as physical therapy and have many times been told - we have done all we can do - we will try to use Med's to help you cope with the pain. Now a legal factor that many may not have thought of or about: What if you are taking a Controlled Substance for you chronic pain issue and you are pulled over for speeding or some other issue and the police officer decides that you might be under the influence of the controlled substance? Does the fact that it is legally prescribed to you keep you from being in BIG trouble? The answer is no! Don't operate heavy machinery etc including your automobile while under the influence of these med's and God forbid you are involved in an accident, it is your fault, they do a blood test and determine that you have taken pain killers (schedule 2 or 3 narcotic). Many local governments have made these arrests become big business for them. You will need to hire an attorney, you will probably have to attend Narcotics Anonymous and Alcholics Anonymous meetings - go to other counseling, lose your drivers license for at least 90 days, and the grief goes on. So - yes it can be difficult to find a Medical Qigong Practitioner that can treat these chronic pain syndromes but when you consider the grief you might suffer in the above mentioned case perhaps it would be less grief in the long run by searching out and trying a Medical Qigong person. The NQA is what we have at this point for Certification - I don't know how many members they have that have attained the position of Medical Qigong Practitioner. But, I would assume as with most groups/organizations that you have talented individuals and you have not-so-talented individuals and that the overall numbers usually follow that of a Bell-Shaped Curve - with extremely talented being at one end and not-very talented being at the other and a variety of abilities in-between the ends. This is true in almost every profession though - you have Medical Doctors that are members of the AMA and some are extremely talented Medical Professionals and there are others that barely skim by. I will say that most of the individuals that I have met at the workshops I attend are all pretty talented individuals in regards to Medical Qigong. Yes - some more so than others - but time and effort is important and so is attending a quality program. I bet we have people on this forum with a diverse amount of talent and abilities. Some, probably have the right connections to get a Medical Qigong study funded, organized, and initiated. Others have expertise in communications and could get Medical Practitioners interviewed on Public Radio to help educate the public on this amazing medicine. What is your talent? How can you help? Thanks, Kempomaster
  11. Pain Killer Sales Soar - Why not try Medical Qigong

To get Medical Qigong more mainstream -- we need for Qualified Practitioner that have also taken the time and effort to enroll in and complete a Medical Qigong Practitioner Certification program. Then, their efforts aren't quite complete yet - they need to take the documentation of their certification and complete the application and then be recognized by The National Qigong Association as a Certified Medical Qigong Practitioner. By doing this we can help get Medical Qigong on the map as a legitimate treatment that is available for the public. Massage - many years back was not thought of as Massage is thought of today. Massage is looked at a therapeutic option that can help people with many physical problems that they currently have. Such recognition is because of the certification has been somewhat standardized - may vary from state to state - but most recognize that a student must complete a study of 500 hours in a Certified program to be able to apply for state license. The National Qigong organization - recognizes several different levels of Certification - their highest level is a Level 4 Teacher certification. Many of the Level 4 teachers then offer a 500 hour Medical Practitioner Certification program that in turn the N.Q.A. will then recognize the students completion and issue certification upon completion of application and proof of malpractice insurance. Why is it important to be certified? Well if we want acceptance by others as a legitimate practice then certification is needed. Yes - I have seen many capable individuals that have attended 1, 2, or 3 or Michael Lomax's seminars be able to be very good healers. But, if they or anyone else wants to open a Medical Qigong Clinic -- then I think certification is needed. Through certification - perhaps we can bridge the gap between Western and Eastern Medical Qigong. I don't think it has to be one or the other. It's not a competition there are plenty of people out there that need help. I think we can join forces - so to speak - and together do what is best for the patient. I have opened the eyes of many Medical Doctors throughout the area that I live. My "day job" has me in these Medical Practices daily and I have talked the language with many Medical Doctors and treated them and their staff. Now, many call me when they have an issue or one of their staff needs treatment. As one person though, I can only achieve so much....I have seen attitudes in these medical practices change drastically though -- from the 1st time I offered my services - I usually get the look - "quick nurse, go get the straight jacket" to wait a minute, how did you do that, are some kind of magician? No I explain, I am not a magician - just A CERTIFIED MEDICAL QIGONG PRACTITIONER! Getting certified takes commitment! It isn't easy working full-time, have a family, attending to a 500 hour program, treating patients to gain experience (sometimes 10 - 15 per week). But if you are supposed to be a healer -- you feel it in your heart, no - you know it in your heart....then you should investigate attending a Qigong seminar and investigate enrolling in a 500 hour Practitioner program. I would suggest Michael Lomax's program -- I have learned so much from Michael and through his program and i always pick up something new at the next seminar. Take the time to investigate - then enroll your time and effort and see if you can make a difference and help bridge the gap to gain wider acceptance of this amazing stuff - Medical Qigong. Thanks, Kempomaster
  12. Pain Killer Sales Soar - Why not try Medical Qigong

Well first I want to address the comments made by Jetsun - regarding the verbage used to describe some of the Medical Qigong. "Sick Qi" "Non-linear" "Listening" To make an acurate call on these words - one must have some experience with Medical Qigong. It does sound as if you have studied with -- is that correct -- as opposed to read material by - Mr. Bruce Frantziz (spelling). Most Western medical terms have come from Latin words or Greek that highlighted the body parts or condition as it related to the human body. Let's look at the term - "Blood Poisoning" Webster says this is a diseased condition of the blood due to microorganisms or other poisonous matter; septicemia. Then consider the term - "Sick Qi" which seems to me to accurately describe the condition of sick - diseased, of sickly color etc, etc and then the term Qi - which I am not finding in Websters. I have also heard/seen the term "Stagnate"- foul from lack of movement; and "Turbid" - muddy, cloudy, dense dark clouds of smoke. To those of us that have seen "Sick Qi" expelled from the body I think we'll agree that any of the terms used above will be adequate to describe "Sick Qi". What perhaps is more important is trying to bridge the gap with Western Medicine by explaining to patients and Western Medical Doctors what we mean by these terms. I have treated numerous patients that have said - "something just ran out the bottom of my foot , and wait a minute, now my pain is gone"! Ah yes, sick qi has left your body! I am certain that most of the Latin terms used in Medicine were unusual to the public until they heard them many times. Then they learned how to speak the language - isn't that what we are talking about. The Medical Qigong Terms get repeated often enough by Skilled Practitioners that people become comfortable with the language. Consider some of Western Medical tests - CAT scan - Why do I need a cat scan, I don't even own a cat? Magnetic Resonance Imaging - we are going to try to hold together two magnets over an image and... I don't get it. We need to run some Labs - I prefer English Setters. So let's not get bogged down in the language. We can try to get a more thorough understanding of the language used. As I pointed out the meaning of "Sick Qi". Let's move on to "Non-Linear" - which Linear means in a line, measurement of length. In otherwords often in Western Medicine - take this medicine - lets say antibiotic - take it for 10 days - you should start feeling better in 3 - 7 days. If not better in 2 wks call and we will try a different antibiotic. So a time line is in place - most of us understand this form of measurement and the measurement has built-in limits - 3 pills per day, take for 10 days etc. Now - "Non-Linear" would imply by the combination of the words - TO BE WITHOUT LIMITS, NOT MEASURED in a LINE. So we take away these limits - potentially all the limits. For instance, I set my Intent - add the Energetics - and boom - we may not have to wait 10 days or even 10 minutes to get the results that we and the patient want. In addition, we don't put limits on our healing. Example - a person has pain from inflammation in their elbow - Western Med - take NSAID - hopefully it will be hurting less in week, 90% better in 30 days, if you have stomach upset call and we can try a different NSAID. or Medical Qigong - Intent plus Energy - manifest the elbow is instantly healed and the person has a higher understanding of the spiritual calling, and, and, and - no limitations , i.e - Non-Linear. The last Term in question - "Listening". You have to be a Medical Qigong Healer to understand this term. In addition, the Stillness-Movement Lineage helps one develop the skill of Listening and their are "Past Masters that have ascended that will help the Practitioner once they have developed and Advanced themselves through diligent practice of Stillness-Movement. "Listening" - to make a conscious effort to hear, attend closely, so as to hear." When we are treating patients - yes we need some ability to use our intuition - however, the ability to listen goes way beyond this. This is an ability that a person develops as they continue to practice and as a practitioner you develop a higher awareness of what the person being treated actually needs, you may receive helpful direction on what to do during treatment - it's kind of like having a team of consultant Qigong Practitioners available for you to call on -- at least in Stillness-Movement Lineage - I can't speak about other systems or lineage. So this is needed for the Practitioner - not for the Western Medical Community to understand the term. What do we really need to do... Well I will post a thought on that below. Thanks, Kempomaster
  13. Just a quick reply. I have been at many of Michaels seminars and watched as he worked on someone that either came to the seminar or a patient that one of the senior students had brought in -- and as he worked on the patient Michael would make an off-hand comment: "you were about 5 yrs old when the boys were chasing you and you fell off the sidewalk and injure your right ankle (note: the patient hadn't come in to have her right ankle treated nor did she mention it was bothering her). And yes I have seen this happen over and over again. Even to me - Michael was opening the energy gates in my wrists - actually I believe my shoulder was what was bothering me. And as he worked on my left wrist - he asked me "what were you doing punching a wall when you were 16 yr old? Good question - I had never told anyone about the incident. It was a bad idea to punch the wall - used my left hand (I am right-handed), hit the stud in the wall, and broke the knuckle on my little finger. Yes - I learned quickly - don't punch walls! Anyway - my point is that Michael has this amazing ability to see events that have shaped peoples lives - even if those involved had forgotten until he mentioned them. Thanks, Kempomaster

You know at 1st examination I thought that a valid point had been made regarding Pain and if we had experienced it we may be more compassionate to the person that is experiencing pain. However, upon reflection , it is more sympathy and less compassion. For instance, the persons thumb hurts because they hit it with a hammer and yes I have hit my thumb with a hammer so I know what it felt like to me when it happened. Wait you hit it with a sledge hammer - oooh, that must of hurt, now let me use Medical Qigong on it to try to relieve the swelling, discoloration, and intense pain you are having. NO WAIT - according to some of those above I need to let you hold onto the pain for a while so you can learn from it. Now - how long do I wait until you have learned a really good lesson. Waiting, waiting, waiting.... you get the point and you are not an experienced Medical Qigong Practitioner. 1st we do the healing under "The Will of the Light" (will of God or whatever reference makes you feel comfortable) so if in fact the Pain etc is not to be removed because the person is to continue to learn a higher lesson then in fact the pain etc will not be removed. We are not trying to be "holier than thou" etc. In addition, during a healing - we experience much more than sympathy for the patient -- I have been involved in many successful healings (hundreds and hundreds) where I had not suffered the condition that the patient was experiencing, yet, during the treatment, through our energetic exchange I knew everything about the patient - I opened my heart to what they were experiencing and felt there Hopes, Fears, evrything - it can be extremely overwhelming. Oftentimes, I am in tears following a healing and likewise the patient is in tears - for they now have an understanding of what is going on in their life and perhaps what changes they need to make. Oh - a "high level healing" - physical, emotional, and spiritual and it helps them move along the path of life to fullfill their destiny. If you don't understand that -- then you have read about Medical Qigong and made an assumption based upon your readings - BUT -- you haven't actually investigated in person with a talented Qigong and Medical Qigong Teacher. You can read 100 books on baseball but you won't be playing in the World Series this year because you are well read. You can read 101 books on Martial Arts - but you will not have any talent as a Martial Artist Unless you spend time and effort with a talented teacher of Martial Arts. So, how can one expect to really know about Qigong and all it offers....unless you spend time with a talented Qigong teacher and invest your time and effort to really form an opinion based upon experience. Thanks, Kempomaster

I noticed above another referring to phantom limb pain. I have reported on this case previously so will not cover the entire case in detail. I was called in tto treat an elderly lady that had extreme pain in a broken hip that was refusing to heal. She had used a bone stimulator and numerous approaches from an Orthopedic MD. Interesting was that her other leg had been amputated from mid-calf down and she also had pain in that leg. This patient had been treated for several weeks by an excellent Physical Therapist but the PT noted the patient was in too much pain to be able to do the exercises that she wanted her to do. As I began the treatment I knew fairly quickly that this wasn't simple physical pain related to the fracture and amputation. I treated the hip with Medical Qigong and I treated the amputated leg as if the lower portion of the leg, foot, and toes were still present. There was an abundance of Sick Qi but there was also a huge emotional stagnation. I noticed over my shoulder that someone was watching very intently - I didn't turn to look just kept up with the treatment. Afterwards the patient wept as she talked about the incredible pain relief that she had finally received and I felt that the person watching was relieved that she had a great relief from her constant pain. I suggested that I should come back at least one more time to treat. I left with the Physical Therapist and asked her if it was the husband that was peeking in the room. She said no he was with her. Ok, I replied tell me about the emotional issue going on. Then she explained that the ladies grandson had committed suicide several years earlier and she held herself responsible for the death. Well, that info might have been helpful to know. So, upon return for additional treatment - I started as I had before. then went to (Stillness-Movement Lineage) High Level treatment. Of course the onlooker came to visit again. Once again we had an amazing relief of pain. But the pain relief went way beyond physical relief - she said her leg w/amputated limb was much better - no pain, and her hip was pain free. BUT, the look of relief was priceless. Through the "High Level" healing she had finally let herself off the hook for what her grandson had done..she had a huge emotional and spiritual healing with this treatment. Through follow-up with the patient and PT she remained free of the pain that had bothered her for so long. The pain was definitely physical but also involved emotional and spiritual scarring for an event that really wasn't her fault. I heard the entire story of the grandson and he suffered from depression and yes we always wonder if there isn't something else we could have done to help but what he did was not her fault and it appeared that she was almost self-punishing for what he had done. So - yes - pain has many levels, many root causes, it can be emotional - yet cause real physical problems. Then when treated by a knowledgeable Medical Qigong practitioner have lasting physical, mental, and spiritual benefits. Thanks for reading. Kempomaster
  16. I have to actually say in many instances - pain is in fact the issue -- it will be the issue that drives a person to see me. Now I am simply treating the pain? No - I am treating the entire person - Mind, Body, and Spirit. What usually happens is during the energetic exchange I have with the patient -- flash! A light goes on and they will suddenly have a deeper understanding of what the root cause of their pain is and what they really need to be doing with their lives to fullfill their destiny! This happens all the time. The patient has been treated - I watch as the Sick Qi is eradicated from their body - then they turn and look at me -- here it comes - they have had a realization and need to talk about it. Then we may have another 30 minute discussion over items that are affecting their lives. Now it would be nice if everyone was out helping the poor, the needy etc - but these folks with debilitating pain are indeed needy. Some of them have had such restrictions placed on their lives -- that unless you walk a mile in their shoes - you simply don't understand the challenges they face. Everyone on this planet has a variety of challenges they have -- we don't always understand the challenge - someone has a gazillion dollars - their challenge is to learn compassion or something like that... So I am very happy to help those with pain or other syndromes that are directed to me and ask for help, not all people ask the same - so sometimes I have to offer -- I had one recently in which I offered 7 or 8 times before they finally accepted my offer and they were so happy they did. The pain they had was severe enough it was interferring with their ability to make a sound decision. Again - think you want to learn more -- maybe you are the one person that Michael has the spot available for at the Terre Haute Seminar. Thanks, Kempomaster
  17. I am located in Indiana. The Medical Qigong and Taoist Medicine that Michael Lomax teaches is not difficult to learn - it is not easy either -- But it takes dedicated time and effort. One has to make certain that they practice the Stillness-Movement and the more I practiced the more the Universe sent patients to me to treat/practice/ create a data base - of a multitude of different cases to gain experience with. I have a bunch of cases involving pain. That is because pain is very common in our society. In the U.S. people spend billions of dollars on pain medicine and many become addicted to various pain med's. So this seems to be one of the most common complaints that I have been able to use Medical Qigong to help. However, the more I practice the more I receive a diversified group of clients to treat - skin issues, digestive issues, asthma, anger, all sorts of issues. I am very willing to treat any disorder that I believe Medical Qigong or Taoist Medicine can help -- just about everything. What is really cool about Stillness-Movement Lineage is once you start to develop the ability to listen -- this is extremely important -- I shift gears and kind of take myself out of the equation - let the Lineage direct me on treatments. Answers will come to me rapid fire - try this then this , don't forget to pull sick qi from here..etc. I would suggest anyone interested try one of Michael Lomax's seminars - most of those attending are actually able to begin doing Medical Qigong by the end of the seminar. I was able to do my 1st Medical Qigong healing on the 1st Saturday of the 1st Seminar I attended. Now, the 1st healing was just a headache -- well wasn't just a headache to the person that had it. But, it took me about 2 minutes to knock the headache out of this person and was witnessed by another individual - we were all amazed. The more you practice the more your confidence grows and the better your abilities become. The more you grow - the more advanced cases seem to be directed to you. That is what Michael calls "walking in the Wu Wei" - I didn't get anything dealt to me that I couldn't handle - I just had to pay attention because there were all sorts of people around me that needed help - they didn't always ask me for help -- they might have been complaining to someone I was talking to about a problem they had -- I just needed to step up and offer. So, step up and attend a seminar -- see if it's your cup of tea. You never know unless you invest your time and effort. Thanks, Kempomaster
  18. Follow-up report on my appointment with the horses over last weekend. A personal belief transformation for one of those that own the horses. On my 1st trip to this horse farm I had been invited by the Veterinarian that is co-owner of the horses. Her husband would be the other co-owner. The Vet had previous experience with my treating a beagle owned by one of her clients and the treatment was done in succession over 2 consecutive days. To shorten the beagle story - he had sustained a severe injury to his spine - causing severe pain, resulting in the dog screaming to the poit that he had to be sedated. I was asked to treat and did so - with Taoist Medicine as taught to me by Michael Lomax. Well the treatment worked marvelously - the beagle had a full recovery and was able to go home to his owner with no further relapse. So, the Vet invited me to treat one of their horses - Killian. Killian had a problem with his right SI joint and had several individuals attempt to help him with no luck (Chiropractor, acupuncturist, and Equine Vet). Now within 5 minutes of my arrival as I was getting ready to treat the horse - the co-owner/husband walked by and gave me the look -- ok, you snake oil salesman, I am not sure what you are selling but I am not to keen on you touching my horses. That is what I thought the look said anyway. The other co-owner/Vet - confirmed that her husband wasn't to keen on me treating - he didn't think it would help. After the 1st treatment - the horse was walking substantially better - he had been dragging the right rear foot and it appeared the large bump/mis-alignment of the right SI joint was moving back in place. The husband walked by and did comment that it looked better but we'd see. So, I completed 2 additional treatments and the horse had a full recovery. He no longer dragged the right rear foot and allowed the owner/Vet saddle him and ride him for the 1st time in two years. The Vet was amazed at the results and the co-owner/husband actually had started to talk to me and openly admitted that the Taoist Medicine certainly appeared to help the horse. Well, what took me out to the horse farm this past weekend was a student of mine and Michael's said he wanted to learn more about treating animals and would like to try treating horses. So, I asked the Vet if we could stop out and give Killian a Tune-up. She agreed. I started the treatment - got Killian nice and relaxed - horses smack their lips a lot when they get relaxed and yawn extremely big (becomes rather comical). So the student got a chance to work on horses - turns out it was the 1st time he'd ever been around a horse. We just projected calmness to the horse before and during treatment and both student and horse were fine. The Vet mentioned that her husband was upset that she hadn't told him I was coming as he wanted to talk to me. Really? Well he walked by again about the time we were finishing up on Killian and asked me if I'd mine taking a look at Paydon - his horse that he rides all the time. He said he's been squealing and bucking during and after getting rode and that wasn't like him. So I agreed to treat Paydon. Again, I used the Taoist Medicine and noticed that the area around Paydon's back where the saddle goes on was out of balance. So, I treated and Paydon was a great patient. He stood patiently. And I learned a few things about horses - stand close, so if they kick you it doesn't hurt as bad. I explained I kept an energetic connection with Paydon with my non-treatment hand while treating. Neither horse acted as if they wanted to kick me. I also learned that because horse can't see behind them they will give you an ear. Paydon turned his ear back to me depending on which side I was treating from. The owner/husband - commented oh my he's getting relaxed now. Paydon started smacking his lips then he started the big yawn and his big eyes started getting heavy. I completed the treatment and suggested I might treat 1 or 2 more times. With that the owner/husband started asking lot's of questions about Medical Qigong and Taoist Medicine - what sort of things can it help. I knew immediately he was referring to himself. " Can it help an ankle that's been badly broken and has screws in it that causes the person with it constant pain?" I asked on a scale of 1 - 10 what was the pain - he replied a 15. I answered I could definitely try to help - so he ran right over to a bench, sat down, and took off his boot to reveal a badly damaged ankle and foot! But - wait a minute, he couldn't want the snake oil salesman to treat him could he? Yes - he wanted treated right away. So, I used energy projection to all of the channels in the foot, ankle, leg, Projected Qi, Pulled Sick Qi -- watched his foot start vibrating and kick sick Qi out. All said, I projected and worked on the damaged anle foot for about 10 minutes. Immediate results: The swelling in the ankle and foot reduced to near normal and the color returned from greenish/purple to near normal. The patient commented - wow, my foot is cold (result of clearing out sick Qi from the channels) Follow-up results: One day later I got a phone call -- wasn't sure who it was. The person on the other end of the phone was so excited telling me how they had worked a 12 hour day and afterwords had no swelling or pain in their ankle or feet. It wasn't until he told me that the horse - Paydon - was also substantially better and didn't buck or squeal after he had gotten rode on Sunday that I understood who I was talking to. So, now he wanted me to come back out and treat his whole body for pain - he explained he was so tired of trying to get rid of pain and struggling with it every day that this glimpse of no pain had him hopeful for the future. Now - thats a transformation. Pain relief that makes a difference in a person's life and gives them hope. It reaffirms for me what I am doing out here really makes a difference. Too often we take a lot of grief when we try to explain to people how Medical Qigong works and what dis-eases it can help. This is a daily struggle - but give me one transformation and i am re-energized to tell the next 10,000 people how this amazing treatment can help. Thanks for reading. Kempomaster

  21. And to my point -- you definitely have issues. The point of the study - was that it has been done - in the confines of a University clsass - that is a 6 month class -- my point was an actual study could take several years to design. And yes - you would need a Placebo practitioner...as one that has the ability to project Qi and has compassion may in fact (probably would) treat the individual that it was determined would get a placebo treatment. No - my students don't call me teacher or master - simply refer to me by my given first name. So - go on and on if you wish -- but try to eliminate the anger from your heart or you will never have clarity in your eyes. You can read whatever you want -- but try living it. Respect is built in to the book -- respect for others and life -- you are not displaying that. Kempomaster
  22. I have copied the the info below to continue the discussion with Findley. As Findley challenged that the original person posting was either lying or delusional; In addition, Findley challenged that a study by Grad students at a University should be done. I presented that - that has been done and the results were exceptional. Rather than acknowledge that info - Findley - brushed it aside and started a new thread and in it has started throwing nasty remarks at his previous teachers. Well Findley - perhaps it's time to look in the mirror. As a teacher - I generally figure out pretty quickly when I have a student with an attitude problem. When this happens I have a variety of options available -- typically the student will leave and seek info elsewhere. Many teachers will not share important information with students that have such attitude problems. When this sour attitude is expressed than the student will forever be on the outside of receiving any valuable information. Are there individuals out there that are offering something that may not be as effective as another system - Yes! Are there teachers that are not as good as others - Yes! This happens in all areas of life. However, for you to start character assination and throw the remarks out that you have made are totally uncalled for and totally disrespectful. There are many extremely talented Qigong teachers available and most are not lyers, misfits, or whatever else you wish to call them. Show some respect, open your heart to compassion, and have genuine interest in others and an outstanding teacher may take you in -- be disrespectful and you will get what you deserve. Rainbow-- why do I think that the original poster is either lying or deluded? --because 'distance healing' is impossible. It only works for 'eager' people. Well let's start with this quote. The above statement is entirely untrue! Anyone that works with Medical Qigong or Taoist Healing understand that a large percentage of patients that are treated successfully are not just "eager people". In otherwords - the person quoted seems to be suggesting that they are wanting something to work for their problem that we then have a placebo effect. Which would be a result based on the recipients anticipated effect of the treatment. The reason I refer to "those of us that treat" - oftentimes we encounter non-believers, etc that their eatablished belief system would usually prevent them from believing that a person can project Qi and/or be able to heal them without ever laying a finger on them. As a matter of fact, most of those people that we treat have the belief that Qi can not heal them - but with a close to 100% success rate I would suggest the system I am involved in is above a placebo effect or results based on "eager people" 1st - I have been employed in the Pharmaceutical industry for over 23 years. I have been taught how to dissect a study. What is a proper study, double-blind, placebo controlled etc etc -- Sounds great. I ahve also had the benefit of talking with many Medical Doctors that are heavily involved in Academics and they have shared their insights with me regarding studies involved in many medicines and treatments. It is almost impossible to eliminate researcher bias. Typically - a person believes in an outcome or they don't -- There usually aren't individuals involved in the study that don't have an opinion. Ask any Medical Doctor and they will tell that any study can be put together to uncover what a researcher wants it to uncover. They can either select the right patients or exclude the right patients. You say - thats why we want people involved that are independant. Good luck -- a large study in Womens Health was published in the last 10 years - that affected how people look at a particular category of medicine. A competing company was out touting the results weeks before the results were released. How is that possible -- somehow their company was chosen to run the statistics. Total Bias! The second problem with scientific studies are the length of time they take to put together, agreed upon treatments, placebo, the number of patients invloved, the recruitment of patients etc. Not to mention the Cost. All that being said - I HAVE BEEN INVOLVED IN A SCIENTIFIC STUDY INVOLVING MEDICAL QIGONG for ATHLETES. AND IT WAS DONE AND PUBLISHED AT A UNIVERSITY in INDIANA. and YES IT WAS DONE by GRADUATE STUDENTS -FOR " RESEARCH METHODS of PHYSICAL EDUCATION" This study recruited 20 patients that each had pain issues and part of the recruitment reuired that the patients had seen a Medical Doctor and had received a primary diagnosis related to their condition. The patients also were divided into two groups -- either they had a belief in Alternative Medicine - ie Medical Qigong, or they did not believe in Alternative Medicine ie Medical Qigong. They all had used a questionaire prior to treatment to stated their beliefs/non-beliefs as well as a standardized pain rating scale. All patients signed Medical releases agreeing to treatments and in this case they agreed to have up to 3 treatments. All patients received follow-up - post-treatment and the additional follow-up at 1, 2, and 3 months following treatment. I was the Medical Qigong Practitioner that was treating. We did not have a Placebo Practitioner as the time restraints of a 6 month class did not allow us to recruit enough additional patients and to have a placebo Practitioner - rather we felt that dividing the patients into the groups of believers and non-believers would be sufficient for the class. Results: ALL Patients reported improvement on their self-rated pain scale compared to pre-treatment. Most patients felt that their problem had been totally eliminated and these results were regardless of Pre-belief coming into the trial. The results were analyzed statistically and the results were highly statistically significant using a 95% confidence interval. One patient had entered the trial with multiple pain complaints as a result of an auto accident - she had pain due to a fractured shoulder and jaw. She had received 3 Medical Qigong treatments and felt that her shoulder problem was eliminated, however, she felt the jaw pain was unchanged from pre-treatment. Discussion: The results were particularly enlightening when we consider 50% of the patients in the study felt that the treatments would not help their problem. However, regardless of belief the Medical Qigong treatment had a major impact on reducing pain even for the non-believers. This fact is testament to the Power of Medical Qigong in particular the treatments that come from the Stillness-Movement Lineage.

Why do I post on this Forum? I have no reason to brag or be delusional. I post so that students of Medical Qigong can get an idea of areas of human need that Medical Qigong can help. Also animals need these treatments -- I have treated many dogs and horses - great results with animals - actually 100%. And I have Doctors of Veterinary Medicine that will give testimony to that. I have also treated many Medical Doctors - both in person and by distance, they were all skeptical prior to treatment yet they will also give testimony to the effectiveness. The world can be confusing - many are looking to get into Qigong - a system that works for them, perhaps they are meant to be healers, I Post for them. The Stillness-Movement system is powerful and the treatments that I write case reports about are all something that the true student that is willing to invest time and effort in can achieve. I have been involved in Martial Arts for over 35 years - that are many schools out there that will take your money and sell you a belt. But the student will not have any ability after 3 years - they will just be $5,000.00 poorer. I post about the system because I have the scientific evidence that says this works -- I have proven that in tons of Medical Offices with Doctors, nurses, Veterinarians, etc - These are Western trained Medical professionals that were all skeptical before I proved them otherwise. So, I have the proof. Now, I want to share it with those that are truly interested in learning. My Life goal is not to get the "Doubting Thomas's", the "Naysayers" to believe. I am not interested in wasting my time convincing them. They will always say -- yes, but, yes, but. So for that student that wants more - investigate for yourself. By the way - the are case reports of Distance Healing's done - for those in need, yet they didn't know that I had treated. In the case of the child - the parent chose to request and chose to post on their own the results, the child never knew they were being treated. PLACEBO - I don't think so! Thanks, Kempomaster

When we talk about placebo effect -- this is an anticipated effect that a person encounters when they are receiving a fake treatment. I mention my pharmaceutical background - because I have read hundreds of Medical Studies and know that the placebo effect can happen up to 50% of the time. Howver, this effect usually wains as time goes on -- in otherwords - placebo works 50% of the time - still working at 1 month, at 2 months only 40% feel it's still working, and by 3 months only 10% feel it's still working. In the study cited above 19 of 20 participants had benefit immediately, and through the 3 months that we had for follow-up. This has been tru for all of the Medical Qigong that I have done. I see close to 100% success rate with in-person and with distance treatments. Yes - there are always a few that don't work as well as we would like - I have had about 6 or 7 out of 700 - 800 individuals that I have treated. You do the math -- less than 1%. Remember when we treat we do it - according to the "Will of God". It doesnt matter if the person expects it to work or expects it not to work -- My Medical Qigong treatments work regardless of anticipated outcome. I credit that to having an excellent teacher as well as participating in a very powerful Qigong system - Stillness-Movement.
