Yeah Matrix Energetics is pretty interesting too, personally I have learned a great deal looking at this stuff about the nature of mind and consciousness and its relationship to healing and energy and you are even encouraged to make your own methods out of all this and improvise as it is more of an art than a science. Mayer says the advantage of Yuen over Matrix Energetics is that Yuen is more grounding as you use the midline of the body whereas with Matrix you often get uncontrollable reactions , but whatever works is good.

I tried out the Now healing system, Mayer has respect for the Yuen Method and learned all the levels but she says that generally there are so many variables involved with people's problems which can exist in all sorts of areas that it is difficult to zone in on one particular weakness and correct it and expect it to resolve an issue, there could be hundreds of different connections in all sorts of areas like karmic, physical, ancestoral etc which need correcting to permenently resolve some problems, so she heals in clumps or groups and says the corrections may have to be made repeatedly over a period of time or the weakness can easily come back. So maybe one of the weaknesses of the Yuen method is that it can be too specific which could be why a few corrections over the internet can't be felt very easily, although that could be a strength in some cases I guess.

Do you do much normal exercise like running? that is probably the best thing There is a meditation which can reignite sex drive but if you have Kundalini problems such things should probably be avoided unless you can handle meditations ok? there are Sufi breathing exercises too but I don't know enough about Kundalini to know what is safe to recommend.

Mr Yuen says you should work on people even without their consent because even if people really want to keep their problems and really enjoy their misery their misery effects everyone else around them so you have a duty for the greater good to remove it whether they want you to or not.

The Taosit practices that are avalible?
Jetsun replied to AstralProjectee's topic in General Discussion
There is a lot of information if you look in the right places, but I wouldn't say it is systemised in any coherent way to provide a clear path for people, if you compare it to say something like Buddhism which has been presented in a linear way so you can track and map your progression then Taoism appears to be generally in a bit of a muddle, unless you are lucky enough to have a teacher who still has a living lineage to keep you on the right track. If you read a text like the Yellow Emperors Cannon then it appears that "the ancients" had a much more complete version of Taoism than we have today, of which TCM and Taoist energetics and alchemy were just parts of a wider system including many other areas like geomancy, astronomy, feng shui, which asks the question whether studying a fragment of s system is that useful without the whole picture. -
Drop all Mantras (Even that one), Do nothing (not even doing nothing)
Jetsun replied to skydog's topic in General Discussion
My understanding of the poisoning thing was that Osho had some bad people around him who were responsible for the poisoning, Osho was never charged for it but was deported, how much he really knew about what was really going on is hard to say. But there is no doubt he had enemies as he was running a liberal Communist type ashram on American soil at the height of anti Soviet propaganda. Some even thought he was the most dangerous man in America at that time which could be why he was killed if you believe some people. It is a pretty interesting story though I recommend reading his autobiography -
Drop all Mantras (Even that one), Do nothing (not even doing nothing)
Jetsun replied to skydog's topic in General Discussion
I used to be into Osho and practised his dynamic meditations for a while, he did have a great mind and talent at communicating spiritual ideas and cross referencing different paths. I liked how he combined Eastern and Western spirituality with modern psychology, very few people have been able to do that, so as an academic he was great but for me the meditations didn't work and I then wrote him off as an accomplished teacher because I couldn't see any evidence of him benefiting anyone and there was so much controversy. But then this year I met a Buddhist nun who had a number of friends who stayed with Osho in the 70's for some time and they apparently benefited enormously from his teachings and he helped open them up, so maybe he wasn't so bad. I still don't think he was a great master but he may have played an important role in all this as i'm sure his ideas touched many people who may not have been interested in such spiritual areas and his teachings may have helped prepare the ground for some people to move onto more powerful paths -
Anxiety and Insomnia Issues Related to the Throat Chakra and Lack of Jing?
Jetsun replied to Eternal Tortoise's topic in General Discussion
Block in the throat is usually about speaking your truth, or speaking up. Lack of Jing seems like a strange answer to me if they are so full of energy that they cant sleep. -

Using Ibogaine or LSD to terminate kundalini ?
Jetsun replied to mike 134's topic in General Discussion
In my experience life isn't really that bothered about what you want and what you care about, so you may be better off learning how to deal with whatever is happening to you and make friends with it and see what it is trying to teach you rather than try to get rid of it and stop it. My 2c, But whatever you do I wouldn't use LSD to try to deal with it. -
In my experience most negative encounters in this area involving fear and being attacked by things come from your own perceptions and subconscious fears, for example I once took Ayahuasca and encountered some sort of spirit and completely freaked out and became really fearful thinking it was attacking me, while others have had the same experience with similar spirits and had one of the most illuminating nurturing experiences of their lives, so your own perception and mind seems to be the key factor. Whether in the case of Kunlun it involves interacting with foreign entities or it just manifests what is already in the mind I don't know but the problem if there is one I would expect is due to your own perceptions and reaction which is largely due to your unresolved subconscious complexes. Max is a Shaman isn't he? I would expect to have some sort of Shamanic type experiences if you follow his path. Although... I did recently get a Shamanic type healing and the healer (who I rate highly) said that I had implants in me from malicious beings, which he removed for me, so what do I know.
-
I agree it's probably subconscious material emerging but it is the compassionate thing to do to instruct the people you are teaching how to take responsibility for their unresolved emotional issues which come up from the unconscious if you are going to help open them up. It's a bit like throwing people overboard without checking if they can swim or having a rope ready if they can't.

Quick Question on Masturbation and Energy Cultivation
Jetsun replied to shaq786's topic in General Discussion
I would wait an hour or two just to let your nervous system adjust to the changes and take in the relaxation response, I don't know what the masters say on this but this is my personal opinion -
The majority of the spiritual systems that come out of China/Tibet may derive from "reptilian" lineages if you believe legends, as it was said that the "second Buddha" Nagarjuna obtained his wisdom and lineage from the Naga's which then created a revival of the Mahayana which spread throughout Tibet and China which impacted many Taoist schools; master Nan Huai Chin even says that the majority of what modern people think are Taoist practices infact derive from Buddhism largely from the atthi-mansam-tacco meditation on the 32 parts of the body which Nagarjuna revived. So it could be that most of what people already practice on this site originate or be influenced by Naga reptile lineage without them even realising it.

How many Taoists are out there in the TTB....?
Jetsun replied to ChiDragon's topic in Daoist Discussion
I don't see much difference between following the Tao of Taoism and following the Middle Way of Buddhism, or much difference between being in Wu Wei and being in the Christian concept of Grace, it's all talking about the same stuff as far as I can see, so there are probably many Christians and Buddhists who are more like real genuine Taoists that are talked about in the old texts than many people who try to be Taoists and try to follow the Tao Te Ching. -
I saw one show where he went to a gym and lifted more than a regular bodybuilder on the bench press and he is a skinny guy without hardly any muscle, all the meatheads in the gym couldnt believe it, I was watching his face and he seemed to put himself in some sort of trance state using his breathing, it was pretty amazing.

Flying Phoenix UK Workshops with Terry Dunn
Jetsun replied to Jeramiah Zeitigeist's topic in General Discussion
Glastonbury has the most palpable energy out of anywhere I have been in the world, some say it is one of the earth's main energy centres along with Mt Kailash and Lake Titicaca which is why it has been a place of spiritual pilgrimage for many different faiths for thousands of years. I would love to do Qigong there one day, they should do a Stillness Movement course one day there too. I did a meditation in Avebury one time, I didn't feel that much but it might be worth practising there while it is completely open and not fenced off like Stone Henge is as one day they will commercialise it, but I felt stronger energy in the Glasonbury Tor Well gardens to be honest, you can drink the spring water which comes out red and highly charged with energy. -
Coming off the drug may mean that parts of your psyche which have been kept down are emerging to have their say, some of them may be pissed at being ignored, but every part of your ego and all the voices inside of you have the intent to help you even if it doesn't always feel that way, and if they intend to help you they must be formed out of love, so from that perspective ego or non ego doesn't really matter as its all good. My 2c

Excess yang also the topic of reacting to emotional violence from women and social conditioning
Jetsun replied to skydog's topic in General Discussion
Not all social conditioning is bad, the shame associated with hitting women seems pretty appropriate and beneficial for society and for individuals because very rarely does any good come from hitting someone else, often it harms you and it harms the other person so there are no winners. The imbalance may be that women should feel more social shame for hitting men to even things out a bit rather than men should feel less shame for hitting women. -
I started reading that but I got worried that it would be like many other psychology books that I have read in that they speak a lot of truth but the solutions they propose don't work, so you get really well educated in how you are messed up but you are still messed up, which doesn't help in the long run as you are just spending your time focusing on being messed up rather than focusing on something you enjoy... so I stopped reading it. It's probably not like that at all but I have been scarred by reading psychology books. Right now I am reading "Living With Joy" by Sanaya Roman, or rather Sanaya says she is channelling a being of light in a her books called Orin who provides all the wisdom contained within, which at first sounded a bit crazy to me but reading it at the moment all of the content seems true so far and not crazy at all and very useful. The other book is "The Joy of Living" by Yongey Mingur Rinpoche which is a really good book for a someone who wants a decent clear introduction to Buddhist meditation. Unfortunately with the kindle I download a new book every day and never finish them

Excess yang also the topic of reacting to emotional violence from women and social conditioning
Jetsun replied to skydog's topic in General Discussion
If this is your aim it might be worth looking at the work of Marshall Rosenberg on non violent communication, the general idea of the work is that all anger arises from a perceived need not being met so if you address the need the situation can be resolved rather than it escalating into a war of violence. It will be hard to do with your mother but with others it should be possible. -
Namdrol's Apology and some insight on rising above Sectarianism
Jetsun replied to AdamantineClearLight's topic in General Discussion
I don't think you need superhuman intelligence to understand this thread, for this guy Namdrol these are profound realisations and hugely beneficial to him and others who decided he was an authority, so it is a good thing, but I would be surprised if much of the actual content of these revelations are particularly revelatory to a large proportion of the people who have an interest in spiritual areas; it tends to be only the extremists who say things like Buddhism is the only path to liberation and Tibetan Lamas are perfect. But it is always refreshing and encouraging to see people have a change of mind and give up divisive views for a more healthy perspective on life, especially in such a public way, so thanks for retelling the story. -
Namdrol's Apology and some insight on rising above Sectarianism
Jetsun replied to AdamantineClearLight's topic in General Discussion
I don't think the realisation that getting involved in Tibetan sectarian politics and changing your name and all that stuff that people try to do to become more Buddhist is bullshit is particularly high realisation, the average guy at your local bar could tell you that. -
If you want to experience a real master just go to one of the Dalai Lamas teachings, he seemingly effortlessly walks the balance between humour and seriousness, compassion and wisdom, humbleness and power, effort and relaxation, he rarely deviates from the middle way in anything he does which is why he can maintain his health and energy at an old age, yet many still think he is just a celebrity monk with no real attainment.
