As you can't see yourself in the same way as others do, its good that you ask others for advice. And then you should really listen and look back at yourself to make the right decision. You reality isn't the same as any other persons reality because of your thoughts, emotions and beliefs. So trust the others and what the others have to say. When reading your posts, Non, I can't see much happiness in your celibacy. If you had happiness in everything you did it would be much more enjoyable and then easier I think. Ask yourself if you are not using celibacy just to make yourself pretend that you don't need any woman (because you feel that you don't get any attraction from women). Try to pretend like every women likes you and wants to talk to you and that pretending will make your mind believe it. So when your mind believes it you'll see that the woman you are talking to will also believe it. Just try to take control over your mind and make it pretend that everything in what you are doing is so great and it will suddenly become great. Truth and reality isn't the same thing. The reactions you get from women is the result of what you think is true.

He must feel very lonely by not being able to express himself correctly. His needs are so strong that the woman gets scared of him. She feels that he just talks to her to feed his ego :/ If he just could understand her, it would make it a lot easier for him.

Yeah you are right about that dmattwads. It's all about the ego... At least it's what I feel too. If it wasn't about the ego, the women would fall in love with you, because what makes her so happy is when she truly sees your love for her. Love or like whatever. When do we demonstrate that we truly love her? By being fully present with her. I think... How do we cure loneliness? By feeling loneliness. How does that emotion feel like? What is it like when you pause, concentrate on the loneliness and let it be there. Feel that emotion. You can't escape it by force. The only way is to BE WITH that loneliness. I think...

hmmm soon every yoga class will be full of Pick Up Artists and naive girls
-
hahah maybe I should start taking yoga classes too o.O To attract her, don't talk about yourself so she wants to find out more about you and don't act as you want to date her. Just be in the present moment with her and have fun. Eventually she will ask YOU out! Or if she is too shy just say "im going for a beer afterwords, want to come along?" or something like that. Ask her like if she just was your friend and not a date or something.

ooooh what a luck! I can read that book in french! hihiiiiii hmmm looks interesting, its about taoists who made artificial gold, but it was proven dangerous for the inner alchemy, even mortal, so they stopped they experiences. but there are no reviews about it anywhere...

When you start feeling lonely while meditating you should try to ask yourself "what is loneliness?" and not answer it with your mind, but with your body. Feel the answer. Try to get curious about loneliness. That will make you connect to your true self again and you'll feel love arise. You'll see that the body answers every question with "I am".

Yin energy is female and Yang is male. We all have both in us. But we all have more yin or more yang. Women tend to have more yin than yang and men more yang than yin usually (but not always). Men with more masculine energy are more focused and aware of the present whereas women with more feminine energy are more "with the flow", they like the colors, they love talking and everything... Chi/Qi is the Chinese for "energy", so yin and yang energy = yin and yang qi/chi Am I right about all of this?

The sweet thing about everyone's goal is that the world is going to help you in any way to reach that goal, so you really don't have to worry about it, but in the present moment do everything your heart tells you and some day you will reach it. So the goal is in every moment and you can feel it. No need to want to reach that goal as your whole life already IS that goal. It's like you have already reached it!

If you travel to China to find a spiritual path, how do you find one? Where do you go? Where do you start? The unknown is scary. I have to be really lucky to find a good master that is willing to teach just from pure coincidence... I know someone who was monk at the Shaolin Temple for 5 years, but that was at the time there wasn't many tourists there. Now it's just a show off temple. But how about the Wutang Mountains?

My goal would be to never be sick in my life again, cause I have been sick for 10 years. So to cure myself whenever I need. My goal would also be to never be anxious or worried again. To be fully confident in everything I do. My goal would also be to always be as happy no matter what happens. To enjoy life as it is. Then to move to China after my studies, but not to find a job or make a family but to practice the whole day. I want to reach enlightenment. Which path I will take is not really clear... But the zen or tibetan path doesnt have anything to do with my kungfu-taiji-qigong practicing, so it has to be something in China. Southern-China, because I have always been drawn to warm places in the south. I have always dreamed of getting out of this cold Europe. When I went to Bali two months ago for 3 weeks I got so in love with it. I wanted to stay there forever. I met this shaman who finally cured me in just one session after 10 years of sickness. In Europe I went to like 50 specialists during these 10 years who just gave me pills that didn't work AT ALL. But then when I got back to Europe I got sick again, because I still wasn't very immune. So want I have to do is find the master or temple which is best appropriate to my path. Maybe not a master, because I'll have to get a job to be able to pay him and everything. I would be glad to hear some advices from people who know more than me about this. Cheers

Thanks thats nice for gaining more strength. What would you recommend for more flexibility? To get my back as straight as when I am sitting on a chair as when I am sitting on the floor with my knees not bent. I guess thats the flexibility at the base of the spine.

Hello everyone, I am new here! I have just started with meditation. I know almost everything about the path to enlightenment in tibetan and zen buddhism (because it's so easy to find information about that), but I know nothing about how to meditate in Taoism to reach enlightenement... And this is what is most interesting to me (wonder why). So I am now taking a first step in joining this tao forum! Well I have done kung fu, tai chi and qigong for one year, but just the poses, not the meditation.
