  1. The Moors re-civilized Europe after the fall of Rome

The fact of the matter is that most people do not think the way you do. This is why I created the thread, to prove that racial theory is myth and B.S. It's also fine and dandy for a lot of people to say "oh race doesn't matter, don't even talk about it" when they aren't subject to racial discrimination on a daily basis due to the existing racial myths which they want to simply ignore as if that will actually get rid of them.

  3. The Moors re-civilized Europe after the fall of Rome

Here's some paintings of Moors with dates of the paintings: http://moorishsociety.com/tag/moorish-paintings/ Note that the later paintings followed the earlier paintings in depicting Moors as what today would be called Black. Here's wikipedia of painter Ludwig Deutsch http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ludwig_Deutsch Rudolf Ernst Note how many white people you see with power in these paintings compared to how many black people you see with power. When looking at all of these paintings, it seems to make sense that some say "Moorish" used to mean the same thing as "Black" does today. They might look slightly more East African like Ethiopian, rather than predominantly West African, but Black people, Moorish people, had the most education, power, and wealth in Europe from approx 700 BCE until 1492 when the "Christians" took over and moved west.
  4. The Moors re-civilized Europe after the fall of Rome

Okay, you may have something there, about a side note comment here or there. For example, I'm just assuming the other races didn't show up until about 200,000 years following the advent of the homosapien, though it seems to me like a fair estimate out of the 600,000 thousand years it took to get to even the beginning of progressive civilization. However, if you put the influence of the Ancient Egyptians and the Moors together, there isn't much competition for most responsible for passing civilization onto other nationalities throughout history. For example, the Chinese obviously had a huge influence on modern day realities due to gunpowder, printing, and the compass, however, given that gunpowder and the compass were mostly used as tools of domination and cultural destruction, these advances can't really be compared with the influence of Ancient Egypt and the Moors. Nonetheless, the main point I want to be understood in this thread is that 1. The Moors in Europe were predominantly black Africans 2. For 700 years, these Moors had the most power, education, and wealth in Europe 3. This destroys all, unfortunate yet prevalent, modern day racist myths against people merely because they have African ancestry 4, 5, and 6 are verging on off topic here, but, for good measure, and to bury those racist myths for good: 4. The Ancient Egyptians were black Africans (see above video "what Africans really look like") 5. Ancient Egypt was the center of learning in the ancient world, where the scholars of Greece and Rome went to learn and then became "geniuses" of their nation because their nation was not educated in Egyptian knowledge. 6. The Moors carried on much of the Egyptian knowledge which is now found in Freemasonic architecture and city planning (it was a Moor who altered Washington's city plan to fit this knowledge).
  5. The Moors re-civilized Europe after the fall of Rome

Fight facts with facts. Seems more than a few are afraid to be called racist, but facts are not racist and that is how this battle is being fought. Some facts may be presented in an imbalanced way, but I started the topic to balance out those imbalances. If you have honestly looked at the info I have provided and still have reason to disagree, I await to hear those reasons so that I can counter them with other ones. We are here to learn so please, put your cards on the table.

So that's it? No other rebuttals?

So like, basketball rules instead of hockey rules? Travelling = Consecutive off topic posts Goal tending = disrespecting points of view without giving adequate reason as to why Foul = personal attacks Out of bounds = topic derail with persistent negativity Double dribble = too many new topics on same subject And when things go wrong, I guess the offending party will either sit on the bench, or the mods could throw the question at hand up in the air and let them try again according to the rules, or this case, good forum decorum?

  9. The Moors re-civilized Europe after the fall of Rome

for the record, when I say that they brought Egyptian knowledege, I'm referring especially to things like architecture based on astronomy and other Egyptian knowledge which is now found in Freemasonry. As to whether the math and chemistry has its roots in Khemet, that is debatable since this knowledge evolved over time as it continues to do with modern technology. However, we know that Pythagoras was an anomaly in Greece because he actually studied in Egypt (please look it up if you are not aware of this). The math of Khemet was advanced, as must have been their chemistry since the word "chemistry" comes from the word "Khemet." Remember, Khemet had over 3000 years of progress before Greece started its classical period which was mostly based on things they learned from Khemet since their brightest scholars studied in Khemet. Khemet was the place to go and learn at that time. Yes, there were early developments in Sumeria and Babylon too, but they didn't have the same power of influence nor stature as a place of learning as Egypt. Most likely, the highest scholars of Babylon also knew to go and learn in Egypt if they wanted to get really deep into the knowledge available at the time. Further, the knowledge in Egypt may have borrowed from various sources, however, my point in this thread is to show the absurdity of modern perceptions of race and civilization, since the people who are the most responsible for passing civilization onto other nationalities throughout history were mostly black Africans.
  10. Vagus nerve or governing channel or something else?

The closest thing to energy meridians might otherwise be the liver and gallbladder meridians which run near the side of the spine and then up the neck and around the face on both sides of the body, but it is not a straight path, and I don't know enough about that to suggest any treatments, other than something very basic like noting that they are both wood element, so you could maybe offset their energy them with metal/the breath/lungs. Of course, this corresponds to basic advice of breathing to help relax the tension. I suggested the above exercise as a way to attempt to clear and balance the heat, sort of a qi gong approach but taking into account the other channels.
  11. The Moors re-civilized Europe after the fall of Rome

I would like to keep on topic of Moor history, but to see the race of the Ancient Egyptians, just look at the statues. If one watches the video above "What African's Really Look Like," you can see that people don't need to have strong West African features to be black Africans. Nonetheless, one can see the West African features in Ancient Egyptian statues as well, not to say that every West African even has these "West African features." One good example is Tutankhamun's family. Grandfather: Amenhotep III Grandmother: Queen Tiye Father: Akhenaten King Tutankhamun
  12. Vagus nerve or governing channel or something else?

It is the reverse for females, but if you are male, put your left ring finger on your left nostril and breath "rough prana" out the right nostril, then put the right ring finger on the right nostril and calmly and gently breath in "soft prana." Remove your finger, savour the breath for a bit, and then gently exhale. Repeat as desired. According to Tibetan traditions, the right channel (in men) is white and is where the negative prana and emotions flow, while the the left channel (in men) is red and is where wisdom and calm and positive prana flow. The central channel (in both men and women) is blue and is much wider than the other two. This is where non-dual rigpa awareness of the yet-to-be distinguished moment resides, according to Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche in "The Tibetan Yogas of Dream and Sleep."
  13. This is the bitter irony of modern day mythologies of racial superiority which are so deceptive to billions of people. From 700 CE to 1492 CE, black Africans were re-civilizing Europe, teaching them science, math, medicine, hygiene, and much more, bringing them up from the destitution that followed the fall of Rome. link "The intellectual achievements of the Moors in Spain had a lasting effect; education was universal in Moorish Spain, while in Christian Europe, 99 percent of the population was illiterate, and even kings could neither read nor write. At a time when Europe had only two universities, the Moors had seventeen, located in Almeria, Cordova, Granada, Juen, Malaga, Seville, and Toledo. In the 10th and 11th centuries, public libraries in Europe were non-existent, while Moorish Spain could boast of more than 70, including one in Cordova that housed hundreds of thousands of manuscripts. Universities in Paris and Oxford were established after visits by scholars to Moorish Spain. It was this system of education, taken to Europe by the Moors, that seeded the European Renaissance and brought the continent out of the 1,000 years of intellectual and physical gloom of the Middle Ages." Look at any paintings of Moors. At least 95% of the Moors in these paintings would be considered Black in today's North America. So please, any time you get some notion about racial superiority or inferiority, remember - Europeans were the ones learning maths and sciences from AFRICANS between 700 and 1400. Africans were the one's digging Europeans out of their social ditch. There is no reason to create social lines based on race. We are all capable of immensely great achievements and so much more so when we work together in harmony.

  15. The Moors re-civilized Europe after the fall of Rome

Khemet was the name of Egypt during the time of the pharaohs. link Yes, but I'm simply trying to show this history so that people like modern day police officers, employers, and teachers may hopefully, one day, never again be able to look at a young man of African descent and assume that race is somehow a determining factor on that person's inherent potential. I can't fault you for not knowing much about the relationships between Ancient Greece and Khemet, as not many people do, but Greece basically was essentially hued reflection of Khemetic religion and knowledge. Pythagoras was a student in Khemet. It was the place to go learn in the ancient world. It had been a growing civilization for over 3000 years before Greece reached it's classical period. "Mentuhotep II commanded the construction of many temples though few survive to this day. Most of them are located in Upper Egypt, more precisely in Abydos, Aswan, Tod, Armant, Gebelein, Elkab, Karnak and Denderah.[29] In doing so, Mentuhotep followed a tradition started by his grandfather Intef II: royal building activities in the provincial temples of Upper Egypt began under Intef II and lasted throughout the Middle Kingdom." You can see they had various colours to use. Any reason they would go out of their way to make all of his skin dark other than the vast likelyhood that it was? The other thing to know, is that not all black Africans look like West Africans. See the following video. You can even see Africans that look Asian!
  16. Africans ruled and educated Europeans from 700 to 1492

Yes, I agree. And at least we can agree on this, it seems. My point is that there is a common residing belief in the world today (especially amongst white people) that white people are somehow more intelligent and civilized than people of African descent because white people supposedly brought "European" culture and education to Africa. The fact of the matter is that this "European" culture was brought to Europe by Africans, who learned from other people (Arabs) who learned it from other people, who learned it from other people. Yes, Rome and Greece had a fairly educated populace, but that culture was gone, and the level of education, hygiene, medicine, etc., that Europe now enjoys was a result of 700 years of Africans teaching it to them. For those 700 years, it was the Africans in Europe who had the most power, wealth, and education. I'm not saying that one race is better than another. I'm saying that the prevailing racist notions that are so common in Europe make no sense when you look at the historical facts of African and European interactions. People are still saying "no they weren't black Africans, they were Moroccan, etc. like Moroccans look today." Then how do explain that virtually every early painting depicting "Moors" shows BLACK PEOPLE? How can those two things possibly make any sense to you at the same time? Why would Europeans only choose black people to paint when they wanted to show what Moors looked like in Europe? Because most of them were black. (Excuse the second thread. The first one disappeared from my topic content so I assumed the link was forbidden and deleted.)
  17. Africans ruled and educated Europeans from 700 to 1492

People want to act like just because they were Muslim they weren't Black. Just google "Spanish painting Moor image" and you will see that they were Black. Any one of these people would be seen as Black in today's world. It was the black Africans who were taking over Europe, and it was the same who was educating them. The image of white people saving the rest of the races is a terrible irony. Are black Cubans not Black because they speak Spanish? Of course they're still Black. It's exactly the same thing with Moors in Europe. They were Africans and of African descent just like all Black people today in the diaspora.
  18. The Moors re-civilized Europe after the fall of Rome

The importance of the thing is that you can't debate that the Moors didn't bring Khemetic (Egyptian) knowledge to Europe with Chemistry, architectural mathematics, astronomical architecture, etc.. It comes from the Middle East which came from Africa, and it was black Africans who brought it to Europe around the 7th century. The white people were being taught these things by Africans. It was black Africans taking over Europe and teaching them maths and sciences.
  19. Following my yin energy...how?

Perhaps it's a call to listen to your own inner yin, stillness, from which true knowledge of the heart can speak and be heard.
  20. How do I retain my seed/energy?

There are some herbs traditionally used for this purpose, but I would strongly caution you against using any of them without first getting a pulse diagnosis by a excellent Chinese herbalist (not necessarily of Chinese descent), preferrably who also teaches internal martial arts so they know why you're doing this. They should be able to tell you how long to use these herbs, and how much to take for your current balance of organ energies. See the bottom of this page for info on these herbs. Not that I'm a master on this, or even really recommend intense long-term celibacy for most people, but to disperse the energy before sleep, I suggest meditating on the lower dantien so that the energy will move up to that cauldron where is will then be processed and distributed elsewhere, such as to the heart center and other organs. It's also important to "turn the light around" or "lock the gates" during the day, meaning to have your senses well protected, content, and stabilized, rather than unsettled and searching about for new stimuli. However, consider if you are going to do this for the rest of your life. It's something that needs to be maintained. You can't just build up all that jing and then quit, like lifting a 100 pound barbell over your chest and then forgetting about it. If you're going to do this, you need to build up gradually and follow through as well.
  21. Zen gardens (and how they make me feel)

Rock gardens are supposed to be like bonsai mountains, with various shapes connoting water, lakes, and the space between them connoting silence. It's like boxing though. Some people just see guys punching at each other, others see a chess game.
  22. chi kung insight watned

sure it's not the pillowcases? cheap laundry detergent or fabric softener? Chi gung and meditation are like adaptogens. They help build tolerance in the body towards things that otherwise cause various irritations. You could try cucumber slices on your eyes to help cool them. You might also try magnesium as it helps the body adjust to temperatures, and itchiness is often heat rising to the surface. Make sure your hands are always clean before bed too, as you might be rubbing your eyes if they itch while your sleeping.
  23. After really reflecting on some verses earlier today

Ding and Jing are essentially the same. Stabilization/settling and Stillness. I think you missed the beginning of comment #5 here. In my understanding of it at least, There is a type of awareness in Buddhism that is not the same in Daoism. Daoism generally suggests that meditation requires not being drawn in by the hubbub of things. Buddhism says similar things, but also has different "means," which include total awareness of all the things. Perhaps the reason of doing this is to find stabilization. In stabilization comes true knowledge, according to Daoism. I suspect Indian Buddhism had vipissana (guan) and metta for the same purposes. Daoism teaches you to find the Oneness within, and that road leads to Ding and Jing, and "true knowledge." I think most of the Buddhist exercises, or means, are meant to bring one to the same state where they can attain "true knowledge," "true reality." Perhaps its the same stillness and stabilization that Buddhists can attain with attention to the senses. Perhaps it's a more direct route. Perhaps it's a different goal. I wouldn't be the one to say, either way.

Think about it this why they're trigrams Mountains Thunder Wind Fire Earth, The Lake The Heavens ... random thought, thought I'd share
  25. The eight forces of nature speak

I guess what I meant is that they speak in terms of expressing a certain wisdom that exists in the human experience, and they also respond and interact with their environment, while maintaining their natural wisdom. Talking of just the physical manifestations, Water adapts to the Way without a thought The mountain is mountainous Thunder is thunderous Wind comes and goes Fire is forever full of energy Earth is always supportive The Heavens shine down and cloud over, moving unnoticeably along their circular destiny When they speak, they speak in their own way....
