Hey Nekomata, Open eyes are not only for escaping. They are very capable to absorb energy. Open eyes is good when one is strong. And the openess or closing grade of the eyes is an indicator of strength else there would be not these staring contest between animals. A relaxed eye is blinking little or less often and show that the rest of the body should be also relaxed - a state of readiness. Force is created between a relaxed muscle and a tensed muscle. The more the difference the greater the power. So when one blink natural first, then the inner tension has reached its maximum and need release. As a short closing of eyes is a state to recover relaxation to release the build up tension. And if the creater is more weaker will look away and more drastic lower the eyes and even more drastic turn away the head. I use the wording of Lao Tzu "The soft overcomes the hard" The conncept of Starring can be found by Frater.D and other authors in the occults getting a stare which can see the whole body at the same time and maintain of about 30 minutes. If not forcing but natural indeed it would be very impressive as the power on develop is -as I remember reading those work of this author- is quite dominant as if the magic stare user is see into the secrets of this person. (The eyes seem be able to keep moisture when the eye is relaxed.) (Never train this so do not ask me just for information - for more instruction read the books) Trataka again is teached either most with use of a flame of a candel or second to use a small object. When do as teached on will stare into the flame -but I show a different method by expirience: "You sit in front of the flame about 2 Foot and look into the flame. The eyes will close automatical when the light reach the eyes and it appears too bright for you. Sit with closed eyes in front of the Flame and try to open the eyes a little (There is a little tense up when you try to open up the eyes in the body) As the Fire is stronger than you- allow the face to follow the eyes and tense the face up and do the mimic as the face want change into (appears like when you look into the sun or when you wake up and try to find the shorts). Relax, more around the eyes, keep focus with the closed eyes on the flame at the place where it would be if you look into the flame. Try to open a little maybe one millimetre. Test if the eyes close- allow. Wait and relax and try again. The eyes will as I expirienced flow with tears even the eyes are closed and much tension is released (these tears are more of oily consistence). Try to relax from the eyes into the rest of the body. (It is like the fist, it maybe a fist but the muscle from the forearm is far more below and everthing in the body is connected.) With time the eyes are more open and the time -to look into the flame before the eyes closed- is extended. With time you can then look into the flame. And then Trataka begins really (I stopped here as I get this pre method from wisdom) This is a safety build for natural adaption and inner strength by release of needless tension- instead of power and force to do the Trataka." There is much into the eyes as it is with breathing and the relation with each other. Well, everthing is connected with each other.... in different ways. Best Q

So what are the results of Phoenix and what are the "sideeffects"? I want to hear an answer from those who could reap the fruits by doing this practise.

Ah I think this is what the saying is "lend me your ear!" for listening. It is quite interesting as I saw that most topis which appeared at the same time are somewhat connected as this in moment dream, time travel, catastrophe in dream, syncronicity seem to have a link to each and provide an answer - the others topic also have the comments which give a greater picture. Jig saw words are "states" (Small fur, dream life, waking life), "timelines" "free will" "if you want to reverse time you have to expand yourself"(Taomeow) This for Sinfest from Taomeow old post http://www.thetaobums.com/index.php?/topic/17546-time-what-is-it/page__st__48: "Well... there's all kinds of options, obviously, but I happen to know for a fact how a taoist hermit currently living in the mountains in Wudangshan solves this problem empirically. He licks his bowl clean after meals. The reason is energy conservation I think... carrying water, chopping wood, all that stuff sounds very romantic in taoist poems but as a daily survival chore requires prudent application of effort -- not too little, not too much... Apparently washing the bowl is deemed wasteful of water under the hermit's conditions -- and consequently of vital energy. " So get some new pieces of the Jig Saw together. The thing Taomeow may need to talk about would be appearing in the timeline from someone else. If you not share the world how can you meet? Especially if this person gone thousand of years, all memory is stored when I believe Michael Talbot Holographic universe, one can get access. When things are in fields the access would require an ernoumous ability to tune into this field fuse and if one want to leave to stop a requirement of great selfcontrol, discipline, concentration, awarness This is the same problem as with enlightment and stopping reincarnation of life. In all case I assume "one cling to the lifes state that is there" which make time travel, stopping reincarnation and ascending pretty difficult as when it is free will one is there where one want to be.

A hunch, sometimes I get into a state where things flow very fast like very fast like watching millions of TV at once unable to fix on one but sometimes it slip and I get from my dive some deeper understanding of teaching, seem they crap or useless or perfect,it would help to improve a certain technique which make me works for hours, days and month to make it mine. So this time it is about something "time travel + asia" and it is something which have relation to practise but I do not know where to begin at what extend since those receivings are like newsletter, the come when they come and they can be open or lost in the spamfilter. The post you did put it simple "as above so below, as inside so outside, as it is on macrocomos so in the microcosmos" So if UFO can use antigravitation and gravitation to bend the room for time travel. Again I do not understand why it understand Time "Travel in Asia" and not "time travel in western world" as it is already strange things like immortality, enlightment exist and where do this jigsaw piece fit in. It is the first time I do not get access to this one yet again having the feeling the collective do "know in some kind" and will produce an answer and maybe some nice questions which lead to this answer for many or maybe something else.

Does anyone else struggle with their Sanity?
Friend replied to manitou's topic in General Discussion
Greetings Manitou welcome back! So you simplify your life and lost some douzend of pounds. When you say you realize "who you are" then how there can be a struggle with Sanity?" Congratulation to for the realisation. (I had 2 times internal changes which are felt like death and I have been spared to leave this world several times and one of the critical was a 5 meter falling 50 cm thick tree which fall on my neck on the 7 Vetrabae and there was a bruise because of the luck to stand and bow over and react on the way to spread out the arms and legs and fall into the space where the hairline between death and live is. An Inch more and I would not distress the guys here with my comments. Well how was the feeling? Nothing. It doesnt matter if I live or die I had the feeling that if one live one live and if one die one die, I would thought after a change their would be a lots of carnival by emotion and thoughts about life but no I was only sorry to make those co worker around worry about me and cause them stress. I was ready to leave if it is time, to allow change and embrace it. For a moment I let go of everthing and felt peace. "If I quiet my mind I see the eternity and moments are like passing clouds sometimes they show faces and animals, when they passed the clear sky is revealed" -
Immortal, I reallly ask you to read the post others do on this forum and you find that "the guy" there is the "V.I.P. of Inspiration" of many people who is discussed up and down and always returning as top disscusion with "real interest" but courtesy to his wish of of let him alone else the forum would be flooded despite the book around him is about 12 years old it still inflame the heart to serious seekers to work hard, all this question about full lotus, celibacy, Neikung,Mo Pai, Kostas, Jim, Andreas and "More Pie Guy" (Does it not sound like Mo Pai Guy?1...2....3 recognize!) in the forum all around are set a yardstick to people use to measure other Chi Kung Masters and equivalents and make them open up to them.

Nothing martial arts anymore for the time being. The more I exercised the more I understand, as I see the biomechanics the energetics, the body that has to be done and in Germany there is nobody who can satisfied me. When I repeated a form in Wing Tsun, the Siu Neem Tau the form teach me everytime something that told me "Whahaha you have know this and you have to work your many month to reach it". Wing Tsun is an internal Art and nobody is able to teach the internal art part of Yip Mans Systems and correcting yourself the energetics without help that harms is difficult especially those who are there not believe in Qi not even in biomechanics. So learning princips from Tai Chi and Body therapys was helping. I belong to the type that not learn everthing to can everything but to understand what I have hold as main exercise and with this one meet a lot of people with different quality. My Palms would go red and full and start to float like on water, since I do Jin Dong Gong I even stopped the Siu Neem Tau because my palms would hurt because the energy is piercing. Tai Chi a did a bit in the past but there are so many forms which generate different energy quality, when talked about 24 which is not good for my energy system, better was Chen Man Chen Style and Chen Style I have no idea which lineage as it is broad stance with toes point outward very wide open as if fighting two opponents with jumping whirlwind kick. Also I lack in the basics because so this why I can comment on the videos as this are also things I have to work on. What I do now is Wallsquatting which is indeed is very deep. I hope I can manage it in three years more or less as I see issues when stance traning should be done. A free back is also very need for sitting meditation as the more soft the less strain on the knees as the lower back tend to tense while on try to sit errect and this pulls on hips and knees. So or so I still have the Chance to learn Bagua Tai Chi Chuan from Uncle Joong in the US. Still I can not go around the basics.

Hmm I found first one better than third one as well the girl had the proper movement and use of waist and relaxation of the arms,it looks different because of her tender build and flexbility which a bit throw her away in the movements instead of throwing into someone. I favorize the first one as even he has a big build he moves in correct ancles his arms and his stance are firm and rooted. Arms are like two whips and the movements would look very good with meteor hammers or double axe because of this many splitting motion. The third one has also not released legs while he moves his legs tensed up and disbalance him which he compensates, also the back is stiff and the breathing is hold and the arms are not coordinated with the waist and introduced from the waist but backwards. Here this one good for his build. Very good structured body by exercise. One is the normal and the one Taomeow looking for http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_mO2ufMxUMM&feature=related "Walking on water, standing on like mountain. Mountain moves on Water. Waterfall crushing from mountain with logs." So I comment this movement from this man.

Yuen Siu Tien, the Drunken Master already left 1979 his body. He inspired much for Martial Arts. The Movie teaching me that maybe things look strange and odd they can be very effective and that there are those who follow the big school are not necessary are good Martial Artist. He had influence as Jacky Chan and Bruce Lee which I also watched not move my heart- entertaining. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yuen_Siu-tien

Then Tulku you may like the "Demon Crest" on SNES by Capcom. It was one of the highest praised games in in the Jump and Run with an Hidden Endboss who is just a pain in the A$$ (could never beat him. You have a Red Gargoyle with the Name Red Arremer who was giving King Arthur in the Gouls And Ghost a hard time because of circular flying moving and stalking and who get his own Series for Game Boy, NES and SNES whose Name would be "Red Blaze" as he could fire at the End an Attack which covered all Ghost flame and stop invasion. Especially the motivation in the "Demon Crest" belong to the badass as he Red Arremer fought a Dragon for Crest of Heaven and heavy wounded lost it because Phalanx could snatch away the Crest and made him go on revenge and quest to gather all Crest for power. A other Devil versus Devil are the "Bastard! Manga" by Kazushi Hagiwara with the story all around dark Hero Dark Schneider a mage with Magic based on Fire, always insulting, arrogant, narcisstic and woman chasing. Strangely always appear me this character follows his own noble path with its own rules using "Rightous Evil to defeat Chaotic Evil". Some words like"When you destroy the world how can I rule it you $%$%&&?" One of more new games and most dangerous as it is like a Grimoire for demons is the Shin Megami Tensei Series which I say have one of the highest inspiration to do things like make Tokio become a sphere and the city is inside surface of the hollow sphere. Shin Megami Tensei is very known to have a great data base on real traditional Mystical Beings ranged from angels, demons and halfgods. (likly the real ones do not like to see their images get beat up and Mangaka Hagiwara for Bastard! wrote that the devil do not like to look ugly and drawing them ugly would anger them (strange comment at the end of one volume). Funny derail but also theme is La Pucelle Tactics, Atlus PS2, where one protagonist at the end became so powerful the demons make them their queen turn her evil with words sounding like "In the Demonworld only strenght and power have value, you have the most become our queen "(or so)(Atlus makes very good RPG Strategic games with a fun system and very creative ideas as Shadow Hearts Series using demonic powers to defeat demons, which are sequel to Sancnoth Koudelka on PS which had a greater horror factor and for that time very unique enemies. This also a theme in "Sailor Moon" about a Picture where a Knight is stained with Blood leaving a defeated Devil behind. The saying was like; if you kill a demon you become a demon yourself, this is shown that the blood is on the Knight. A source I could not recall is about that only evil defeat each other. The light do not fight they just board a ship that sometimes comes and leave the fighting area .

Thanks for kind acceptance Taomeow, I recall that I read that one has to be good in all THREE to unlock what is in the Tongbei alone. But I assume that if it is a master you visit you will have to work hard(aka he will beat the teachings into you, lady or not...he make you into amazon if you are not:"Ayaayaaa!" Quote from the Series Xena the Warrior Princess). I read the Manga Kenji http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kenji_%28manga%29 by "Ryuchi Matsuda" who is martial artist and scholar http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ryuchi_Matsuda Matsuda San belongs to those are contributed for research. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yi_Jin_Jing "Matsuda Ryuchi could attest to the existence of the Yijin Jing only as far back as 1827." This Kenji series is based mainly on Bajiquan but also goes into other styles with real existing person and information which are not mainstream seen and can be found in the internet when one know. I want to sum up the ideas I catched he wanted to tell in the Manga :1.Honing one Art is better than learning many. 2. In one chapter Kenji start to learn Tai Chi and he has to melt the Form which was developed by exercising on Bajiquan by years of devotion. I recommend to read it in the one or other way as it is rare to have little Fantasy based Manga which are based on reality. So what I want to say is when the magazine wrotes that one has to been "Know" all 3 mainstream Internal arts then I assume one has to break the habits and programming 2 times and when learning Tongbei in addition. Best, Q

Opinions, well http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chen_Tuan http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tongbeiquan And a connection of Waitankung Rediscoverer "Sifu Zhang Zhi Zong" as a Qigong Set to Tongbeiquan also is written as Tongbi Kungfu by Sifu Wong Kiew in Section of Waitankung on page 106 "Chi Kung for Health and Vitality". "After the second pattern, he was surprised at his strength when he performed Tongbi Kungfu." You may ask those around this Sifu who made the homepages for Waitankung about the subset called Wuxing Tongbei Quan maybe you find more worth information from the Grandmaster. Best, Q Edit : You where faster in posting and I why was asking why you asked the question. Since Liu He Bafa also comes from Chen Tuan and is recommended after reading a Tai Chi Magazine is told that this one is practise only done if one actual is good in Tai Chi, Bagua and Xing Yi (recall from my memory) so you may give it a try since it is a rare set and master for a subset is already very difficult to find.

I also select like Rainbowvein, never. It seems to me the catastrophe dreams are route navigated by the propaganda and agenda and believes which are shaped by the different authors and also one is strongly directed into the way one fear or is afraid the most in the subconcious. I assume you seem to have such dreams Taomeow....

my Kunlun practice journal, friendly comments welcomed
Friend replied to multiarms's topic in General Discussion
The world is full of concidence.... I would say maybe since I owned the book from Max before I would say : maybe. I got the hands on the DVD by Sifu Lamb by a good friend for a week now. I would like to give different comments but I want to point out the good points. 1.The ten essential Qigong Exercises in the beginning for opening mostly the joints using the Breathing of Tai Chi in the movements (up in, down out for example) The movements are done standing and stay mostly stationary. This is something I had not found in the book and appear very basic but I have memoriy of having read on the old homepage from "Robert Peng"(can not find it on the new)that one of the essentials in Qigong from his is to opening up the joints- but I am not sure. 2.Spontaneous Adjustment Qigong (Yigong level 1). Sifu Lamb gives a good explaination how the spontaneus Adjustment has to be done. I favor her saying to let the sides do what they want and there is no need to balance them out, as I understand there is no need to move syncron on both side and just let it happen.(you can cirle right small and low with the hand while the other hand make big windmills for example. But mostly I see syncron movement by Sifu Lamb in her DVD.) This one is exactly like the sitting version from the book where I remember Max had wool lamb skin under his feet. 3.Tapping Qigong is following the Merdians way the TCM acupuncture have give them would run from 1 to end. I can not say much about it as Donna Eden would have better explaination in her book and on Youtube about "Tracing the Meridans". Core concept is following the way like the TCM would/will strengthen the body. 4.Strike wall with back is interesting. There is not much to say since I find it pretty unique to stimulate the back with striking areas against a wall. 5.Opening Channels Exercises are mostly on the fours on the ground mostly loosening hips but not only, dynamic soft stretching and loosening of the body. It is indeed for Self Healing, getting better motionrange, flexibility, strengthening and opens a door to higher level. (I left out the "besides" comments. you only get shareware from me since Multiarms wanted) Best too, Q Edit: Technical recommendation for : "Circling ancles & Rotating Wrist" The fingers are interlocked. So one thumb is over a other thumb. When one change the side one can change the thumb which was above is now below making the other fingers move one place. So one has 4 Permutation for this exercise :"Left above right, right above left and each of them clockwise and counterclockwise." It is not shown on DVD but it is subtle work on the body which from my perspective is relevant later when it comes to subtle balance. -

It seems that I have hurt the knigge conversation rules: No Religon, No Politics, No Illness. But I ask me if you have expirienced Racism before. I have and they had dogs. You may not think in sterotype but others may do. Also a bigoted post is different than mentioning a bigot in a context as an example.

I see you entertain the Selfresponsibility belief system with good questions. But well you can talk in another tread where your believe system has taken you and talk about the Selfresponsibility and do a representation. This Forum is awesome in the way than from time to time can derail a topic but then go back to the topic has something lifefullness in it.
