  1. damn... who pulled a daoist theological rabbbit out of the hat. I try to carefully tread about dao though opinions abound. The deities or the roll call abound too. I like your circumspect position about transcendent concepts.

  3. What are the oldest Chinese Taoist myths?

oh shit... I first misread that as, scatological.
  4. Is chi hardening a thing ?

your reading too much into what I shared as a story I recalled. Just a story. What folks do with stage videos of self mutilation of hands or body is not higher wisdom.
  5. How/why does qigong work?

Such goes the way of lost arts. Then man invents new ways and claims them as the right way... folks can do what they can do, but cannot do what they cannot. Categorically rejecting something because some others say it is not to be done seems to mean, they don’t know how to harness it correctly. if that were the case, then all magic should be dispelled.
  6. What are the oldest Chinese Taoist myths?

you took the words out of my mouth.
  7. The perfect weapon

ok. I’ve read on that and as you show. Thanks.
  8. Is chi hardening a thing ?

So virtue is to be judgmental now? Did you meet them and know them? Did you ask them about how they claim to have their ability? Or you just want to rant here on a video. I remember being in china and asking where to find someone who knew Qigong. I have tons of stories but I'll just share this partial one. We went to a restaurant area and was told he would be sitting 'near by'. There was a guy in rags, bent over like homeless and asleep. We went up to him and he shook his head to throw the dust off ward and smiled somewhat toothless.. He was covered in dust and was likely the reason he wrote a coat. When we asked about Qigong, his eyes lightened up. He walked over to the various bricks that were scattered about due to demolition and he began to break them with ease. He said, this is just material like the body. easily broken. We went into the restaurant and eat and drank a considerable amount. I then asked him to share something of his learning about diagnosing people. At that time, I was mostly interested in Medical Qigong. he asked me to extend my hand. He worked the web between the thumb and index finger. He explained that the body is contained along that bone. He pushed along my bone and diagnosis me correctly. I used that many times on others. I also found a chinese diagram on this. Sometimes, what we see is just an indication of what we have not experienced and do not yet know. I am not saying that breaking blocks is super power. But I think we will do a better service by investigating and finding out more information before we judge others.

    cool beans.

If I understand you, you want to say there is community sharing of the virus, which I think the data is showing is true. But you would have to explain the idea of releasing on purpose. I have thoughts but would like to hear your point.

I'm not an engineer. I don't spend time online as you seem to want to share about things I have no understanding of. Almost 99.9% of what your wrote, I don't even know. Who is Rooney? Anyway, you seem to know who you want to talk about.
  12. The perfect weapon

can you explain the bold ? I'm guessing it means the virus slows down transmission the further from its initial spread.
  13. The perfect weapon

Don't know that at all. no idea on that. ok... no idea. I hope you are having fun.
  14. The perfect weapon

I agree.. and why we had the talk. thanks.

Ok. Whoever they are. There was no need to quarantine her. It was a fucking joke... old boy. Yea... I locked my wife in a bedroom, chained her to a stall... I passed water through a sieve... gave her rice once a day... meat once a week. she was contained due to the overly obsessive Bums member who said she was at risk, despite he knows nothing. Can we make a NetFlix show?
  16. The perfect weapon

Not at all. You may be reading my wife, my step-daughter, and EG and Ralis too.
  17. The perfect weapon

You might need to explain your 24 hour issue on a surface. A virus means a host.
  18. The perfect weapon

Can you define a denier? Anyone who show symptoms of anything should see a doctor. So I'm not sure what your denier idea is about.

When self-serving is caring and dedicating and ensuring a loved one gets back home... I'm guilty as charged. We actually talked about her staying in china, despite she was already there 2 months. That her hometown was risk free, so far... and going on planes was a bigger risk. I'm curious: Has anyone here faced the idea to ask their wife to stay in another country and not return home for an unknown amount of time? Are those that question the situation even married?
  20. The perfect weapon

Thanks for asking. That is a valid question. Her hometown is in northeast of Beijing and not a single confirmation has shown up in her hometown... but the surround towns did... and I scrambled and argued with United to get her home earlier. To be honest, I was more concerned with her getting on a plane to go to Beijing and then to Chicago and then to Orlando... Planes (and ships) are a great way to spread it. I joked that I would lock her in a bedroom for 14 days... but the punch line is, I was also in the bedroom... She is 24 days without any sign of anything. And me too... in case your next question was, "Were you tested". I seem ok.
  21. The perfect weapon

Ok... but seek some help please. Back to topic. I'd like to talk in a topic that I have family impact on. We have daily contact and questions and request for help regarding this. I am not suffering. thank you for your concern.

Glad to hear of your time in china. Ask around with friends and what you can learn about labs selling the animals. You may find nothing... but you can at least say you tried to research it beyond google. Every trip I make to china includes a few times to eat dog meat. and some other things I am sure many in the west cannot stomach the thought of. You should actually try it but my recommendation is as a stew, not a cold dish.

Ok... yes. Testing was rather strict at first in terms of 'count'. They relied on CT scans... hundreds in line... but those who decided to go get a check. They changed the 'counting' to include a doctor has a diagnosis. Then the count jump. What nobody is talking about is, then that means we under-counted before this point ! That is why a Wuhan nurse went underground to post a notice that the infection and death rate was around ... say .... more than you can believe. The journalist who went to morgues and photography the dead was in the thousands upon thousands.. but because they were not "tested"... they don't count. Let's use some common sense here. A CT scan is a final authority but there is a good reason why they adjusted count based on diagnosis. This is complicated by interviews, "did XYZ seem sympotatic?" "NO". So no count. but later they caught up with the person and they admitted they were symptomatic. The early case of the Wuhan business lady traveling to Germany and infecting 5 people was the start of this problem. That you can be asymptomatic and have it, ergo, spread it... is mind numbing. That now CA claims community spread is a bit quick reaction but they can't find a link yet... They need to dial it back. We should not jump to conclusions when we don't know the relationships. We can discuss what we know and there is an area of what we don't know.
