  1. Spirit->Organ Healing

Interesting blog on SHEN AND HUN: THE PSYCHE IN CHINESE MEDICINE http://maciociaonline.blogspot.com/2012/11/shen-and-hun-psyche-in-chinese-medicine.html
  2. Zhan Zhuang: santi vs hunyuan

To those who have found the stances useful: Is one of the goals ultimately that one is not 'holding' the position but rather Qi holds the position? Or this does not play a part in the stance?
  3. Daoist Jia Dao Zhang

Oh, I don't disagree with your observation here... I just saw the irony in the central government which stripped TCM of it's spiritual roots and then first embraced then banned Qigong... now have control over both sides of this.
  4. Daoist Jia Dao Zhang

You don't see a problem with this?

If its that important, just start your own thread and say it once instead of in 1000 threads over and over. You make your distinction and leave it at that. This is about S-M relation to martial arts. Not YOUR definitions nor Mo Pai definitions. P.S. When they told you to 'consolidate', they did not mean this game you are playing now with mile long posts. Let's apply some common sense... Like this would be common sense: Lock this thread to stop this nonsense
  6. Your at least the third person to attempt to show him this is incorrect english. One female member said it felt confrontative... but he simply wants to continue it instead of correcting it. So yes, we should accept such language games if we can at least understand the meaning. And we'll have to get used to introductory paragraph explaining how westerners don't understand chinese and are not capable of doing any proper translations to english... yes, we are accepting it... and translations of chinese wiki... About 精... I think your right. Wrong meaning ends up with wrong english word. What do you recommend for the male essence?

Your just spamming your same posts over and over and deleting the previous instance of it. Nothing new is stated but your creating the worlds longest post in the process of 'consolidating'... I foresee you creating yet another new posting rule/guideline... As RV asked for the topic to be maintain, I have no more comment.
  8. JC said he was not a daoist... I would thus venture to say that he would not make claims about whether daoist systems could do things or achieve things differently than how his school/system did. I think he would rise above thinking his school is exclusively doing what no other can. Of course, what he says is how his school/system understands it but it does not mean he thinks all others are wrong.
  9. The teaching of Quanzhen

Look at the oracle bone for bi... in this application/context, a true/real man arises/ascends out of the concealed/false/illusionary self Shuo Wen says of 匕, one of the various meanings: 從反人 , from another side of man. (A true or real side) As Shuo Wen says of 眞, a Xian Ren arises. In ancent thinking, people could not see the inner immortal hidden away.
  10. The teaching of Quanzhen

Here is the modern character, Zhen: 真 The older character has the top as 'transformation' instead of just '10': 眞 This is how one can see my joke about the idiom: 七上八下 : 7 on top of 8 below; now you can the older version, as if 七 is on top and 八 is below... but it is not the character for 7, 七, but 匕... and yet the bottom has the appearance of 八 (eight)... why? It takes 8 people to carry on their shoulder the king... Ok, back to the character parts... Shuo Wen said of 眞: 僊人變形而登天也 - An Immortal ("Xian"-transcendent one) transforms shape and ascends to heaven. The parts: 匕 - man, arising 目 - eye, pertaining to senses or inner seeing or body; 自 - self; 乚 - Hidden, secret; nobody can see or know it 八 - Carried or conveyed or moved or supported The meaning is much deeper than just truth or real... It is about one's destiny.
  11. Yin/Yang Healing Sounds?

Snap! Word! I owe you a few pdfs for this baby... stay in touch.
  12. Neidan vs Qigong

I also want to rest my case... but the lynching party won't give up I take it more metaphorically... The true method is no method [to speak about]... it does not need to be mentioned as a need of the practitioner to be heard. it does not need to be mentioned as a need of the bystanders as they have missed it anyways. For now... Let's get back to 14 pages of speaking of no methods...
  13. The teaching of Quanzhen

Then why don't you do what you say you will do... Just stop. You requested it but cannot do it yourself. How relevant to 'complete reality' is that?
  14. MB is the Steward of the sub-forum... he needs to keep people on topic and within the posting rules... When he has to remind someone, that means they are not following the idea of the sub-forum... He is good at gently reminding people...
  15. The teaching of Quanzhen

Stay on topic. Or stop posting. It is really that simple...
  16. I agree... we can't just spam Chinese text in any forum without explanation, translation, discussion, etc... Otherwise it should go in the chinese language area or a personal section.
  17. Yin chi number 3

Then it is a reconciliation of phrases, meanings, words, systems... But my general comment remains. Instead of just saying black and white, there is much gray area to explore.
  18. The teaching of Quanzhen

Just more silliness in that statement... In english, I mean. What is "all" ? What is "truth" ? You can only spam the idea so many times....
  19. Yin chi number 3

OR.... there is yet another explanation... One system cannot see inside another system. One systems 'way' is not necessarily at the exclusion of all the systems in the entire world...
  20. The teaching of Quanzhen

Finally we are getting to the 'truth'... It is not about the word itself or such silliness like "all is truth". I hope we can 'rise' above dictionaries here. One ought to see the playfulness in the idiom as related to the part above and below in the graph: 七上八下... There are four parts in it but with one meaning... [The dormant self in] spiritual transformation The conveyance was said to be in one of three ways: A dragon, Qi, and a deer... I prefer the bronze representation of more like a cauldron and the 'upside down man' transforming from 'self' and arising to his destiny...
  21. Neidan vs Qigong

I would argue it is not so useless... otherwise it would never get to 14 pages. It draws out the cynics, debaters, slayers, and lynching party posts in the human condition... While we are maybe no closer to defining the 'truth'... it may just be right in front of our eyes (or fingers--and heart-- typing each post)...
  22. The teaching of Quanzhen

Yes... but as someone remarked: > "Why people spent so much time in the school for the practice and still don't know what it is....???" In the end... nobody has yet to say what this truth or reality is actually talking about...
  23. Neidan vs Qigong

Daoyin is one of the most ancient movement exercises documented in pottery and silk... Originally it was a kind of dance or movement but it was found necessary as the yellow basin produced lethargy and water in the joints. This is maybe the birth of teaching how to 'move the Qi'...
  24. Neidan vs Qigong

It is all good... as I would like to hear more from you... I have yet to find something I disagree with And your response tells me there is a tip of the iceberg revealed so far.... the depths have not been fully shared yet
  25. The teaching of Quanzhen

The problem I have with this is that one is still asking the question... Truth about what? Just spill the beans... Lets get to the root of the meaning. Huangdi and Zhuangzi use the phrase in ancient writings.... so the idea is in the ancient past... but nobody can actually say it yet.
