  1. What is Mantak Chia?

If you are into the Qigong level, this is the only thing I recommend from Chia, it is great stuff: http://www.albanyqigong.com/images/Inner Smile and Six Healing Sounds Practice.pdf The semen retention should be avoided like the plague as you nee a teach on call at all times.... and there is no need to retain anyways.
  2. And the best goes on... https://www.foxnews.com/sports/not-fair-world-cycling-bronze-medalist-cries-foul-after-transgender-woman-wins-gold
  3. how to stop spontaneous movement?

Focusing will likely not help as Baopuzi said, practice is not natural... so focusing pushes things to a more non-natural state. See if this helps.
  4. US Constitution 101

If we were all like Jesus.. maybe there would be no laws...or fewer.
  5. US Constitution 101

I thought the SCOTUS ruled on the baker issue... you can be.
  6. [DDJ Meaning] Chapter 60

Great observations. Big Country vs Small Fish... so a stark comparison... Continued to the spirit world influence....
  7. [DDJ Meaning] Chapter 57

Oh please, the wind blows and I sometimes observe how a leaf stumbles about the landscape... I see the the political landscape similarly. But.. who knows. Did you ever wonder if you caused an outcome vs you knew the outcome... We will continue to ponder that, I am sure.
  8. [DDJ Meaning] Chapter 56

That was very revealing in understanding your path. Thanks for sharing.
  9. Paintings with a Wow Factor

Italian Chiaroscuro really affected my sense... and paramount was Caravaggio http://www.caravaggio.org/ The Crucifixion of Saint Peter, 1601 by Caravaggio Martyrdom of Saint Matthew, 1600 by Caravaggio Christ at the Column, 1607 by Caravaggio
  10. creating karma

wow... speed read through this as I didn't know about the thread.... I was left with one thought in the end about addiction: We all share the same addition and treat as our savior... Eating. Some treat the need to drink 8-10 glasses of water a day as an addiction but smile on their accomplishment of it. Some treat the need to practice daily but isn't that as much an addiction ? It seems to me we want to define a bogey man called addiction that we can say others have, yet we can't see the splinter that exists. Don't get me wrong, there is such a thing as an addiction but I think our minds are very narrow in thinking it. Having spent enough time in China where drinking is rampant, where indulgent ways seem encouraged.. it is not thought of with a word called addiction but a word called enjoyment. We can argue it at some point from a medical level but it ignores a fundamental aspect of how the mind views it.
  11. The simplicity of living a good life

The first one really just enforces separation theory... self vs others. This seems quite a conundrum that Quan Yin understood. Second is still separation theory. Third is separation theory too... but gives one a chance to laugh
  12. Will Power vs. Intent

Everything just became more than Everything... a kind of 'To Infinity and Beyond' moment Karen said they were the same thing... I wanted to purposely constrast it back to duality... showed them as two sides of Body and Spirit... Everything rightly caught that Body and Spirit are the same thing... Impressive.
  13. They are regular Joe and Jane people... not shamanism. Yes, we all can check energy body issues and can do so anyone, even someone without any details because on this level/realm, there is no separation. We do it regularly but it is not using God's power, that would be attributing too much to any God; it is the Light Energy that formed the Gods and life itself. As for the bad energy idea, I tend to agree but it occurred due to the energy shift in life. We mentioned this when it occurred but its just that most don't know what that really means... but now looking back in time, likely many have seen a shift that was not for the good in many. If you don't want to talk spiritual details on a thread with the word God in its title, that is fine. If you're interested in what I'm saying, we can talk in PM. Thank you for the exchange.
  14. Yes, from an individualist point of view which is correct.. our senses define what we know. But the bolded part is not correct, except till you experience it. When there is no separation, to claim remote residing with a person is the same as residing with a God is the same as residing with another's direct experience. It is difficult to explain to someone without experience of such things. This path is truly many called, few chosen. But if you want to try, it will come to you. I like your point that words are not good or bad... that is a step away from duality thinking. Nice stuff.
  15. Desire vs Yearning

Duality is like a drug that gets one to babble about duality... TDB is now a Webster's Dictionary ? The problem with Duality is Singularity is confusing... like the children don't understand the parent
  16. I would likely agree that if you can only talk about it but have never experienced or have the ability, then best to just sit in the peanut gallery I have lots of stories I could tell but most would not believe them anyways... so just need the experience to know it.
  17. Thanks for splitting to not derail the other thread... but you still did not answer the question. I know several people (we also do group connections) who can do remote connections and healing, but that was not the question. Let's try another question: If one can connect to a person, shouldn't they be able to connect to a God of any tradition ?
  18. For those interested, here is another Sino-Platonic paper on LZ: http://sino-platonic.org/complete/spp221_dao_de_jing.pdf And the intro to the Wagner book mentioned by the OP: https://www.researchgate.net/publication/305918783_The_Wang_Bi_Recension_of_the_Laozi
  19. Albert Camus Quotes

I have a fondness for existentialism and have usually associated him with it... so: https://plato.stanford.edu/entries/camus/ Although he forcefully separated himself from existentialism, Camus posed one of the twentieth century’s best-known existentialist questions, which launches The Myth of Sisyphus: “There is only one really serious philosophical question, and that is suicide”
  20. What is your experience with Gods, and can you name which ones you have in mind ? JAJ has a daoist magic background and I've heard of such claims from my past Qigong master which lead me to study 1 year under JAJs system.
  21. Will Power vs. Intent

Maybe think of it like this: Intent is what your body is willing to do Will Power is what your spirit is willing to do
  22. Seeking immortality is a chain that enslaves too
  23. I AM NOT A DAOIST NOT A TAOIST

You had me at, "I AM NOT..."
