That's kind of interesting... as those three are 'day-time' organs and the three skipped are night-time ones.

More to the topic... 3rd may be most closed off in general life. 6-8 are a general sway and tease

Close... just drop evil character as that is an opinion piece. We should not simply, mindlessly, follow... ergo, don't be brain-less. Same for leper lady... fear tends to follow this path.

I take it as, Forrest Gump said... Life is like a box of chocolates... some shared a sign as some shared chocolate bites. Doesn't really seem so relevant... but carry on. I've read this idea long ago, was curious about it back then and had not hear it again till now.

Any chance you can get those Physical Therapy bands? The reason the bands are smaller and easy to pull (relatively easier than weights) is not only because they are for recovering from injury but there is a basic principle: Exercise the small muscles to get them involved. When we do heavier or stronger like exercises, the bigger muscles simply take over and the little ones don't really get worked out. This seems to me similar to the slow movements and practice of Taiji... but that can be hard on the knees but with some care you can practice some of the basic motions very slowly.

Jim Jordon said of Peter Strzok, "“This guy thought he was super agent James Bond at the FBI"... so is Lisa Page , "M"

Not sure where I read this... but talked about a company who was cold calling female employees asking if so-and-so has ever done anything to make you feel uncomfortable ? Better brush your teeth and use a touch of deodorant before showing up to work... you will at least rule out bad breath and body ordor from making others feel uncomfortable

anecdotally. I see my original link of Chia and he suggests an order of the sounds, to follow a Five Phase approach, although I don't see an explanation for why to start with Lungs. I have seen patterns that suggest starting with Kidneys or Liver. Chia: Lung>>Kidney>>Liver>>Heart>>Spleen In Medical Qigong, we simply took a practical order, to start with the liver... why ? When you purge it, it can 'spray' about in directions, particularly upward. So, if memory serves me, we did: Liver >>Lungs>>Heart>>Yellow Chamber (solar plexus, home of unprocessed emotions)>>Spleen>>Kidneys The point was to purge the liver first and then go from top to bottom to purge stuff out of the body in a downward direction. So the order was not based on Five Elements but of purging sequence. Just to be clear, as soon as one purges an area, we would do the tonify and regulate before we left that organ... one organ down, on to the next one. Not sure I can answer much about this now as that was many years ago and I don't really do this anymore. Just food for thought.

or maybe 'A Teaching Corner'. Another had the idea, so I'll have to follow up.

If the shoe were on the other foot... they'd be asking for an investigation into HRC... oh... they already are It is always a tit-for-tat political game...

I hope this is a multiple choice question

thank you and fair enough... I should of given a link ... so let the NYT say it: https://www.nytimes.com/2017/12/08/us/alabama-moore-nelson-allred.html The woman who offered a high school yearbook that she said was signed by Roy S. Moore as evidence in her sexual misconduct claim against him, said on Friday that she wrote some of the words beneath the signature. Now, I'm not going to use that to try and remove her allegations as I think she should be heard.. but she did herself and future folks a great disservice in lying.
-
The Washington Post that broke the Moore allegations ... "consulted former FBI agent Mark Songer, a forensics documents examiner, to examine a yearbook produced by one of Roy Moore’s accusers as evidence he assaulted her. The expert concluded that the “writing seems consistent with one writer.” Now the lady with the yearbook has admitted she forged part of it... that's why she would not turn it over. Bluff called. Problem is, she does a disservice to others with allegations by lying and being deceitful.

Funny... Staff was just talking about this... Question to the group. Any value in a sub-forum here to take a more "Teacher's Corner" ?

I've reached out to a past member who has several published books, to see if they would agree to an interview. So just bumping this so others think about who could be interviewed.

Yes... let's get Apech's head fatter ! As anyone can imagine... begging for staff help is only trumped (did I use the presidents name) by folks comfortableness with being on staff. TDB is a volunteer staffing situation... only in extreme measures would we gag and mug someone to be staff again But I am reminded by something that Bobby Fisher said about chess openings... 'best by test'... if it worked before, do it again. I like to bring (or ask) past staff to give it a second, third or fourth go... the board gets a benefit but I like that the current staff (including me) gets the benefit of some past wisdom. I have asked several members on their thoughts over the years and appreciate the interaction. My sense at this point is, we are now looking at how to get more interaction, whether on the board or chat. We have a few ideas... but we are open to hear your comments.
-
Enough, already about Karen ! LOL Let's welcome back Apech to staff. I often ask past folks to come back because they understand the nuaisnce and insantity !
-
Karen is tireless... so I can just imagine how she runs her home too !! LOL. 1. Someone commented to me that Karen appears to be the most active mod... well, I think there is some truth to that but all the staff are engaged behind the scenes and pull a part of the machinery that I want done. So I would rather think of it as different parts of a machine turning. 2. Rene may not be back to bums due to an issue. I at least want to say that but can't say more till I understand more. 3. ZYD is currently my main adviser. he may not realize that but, oh well.. LOL... But I should say that I ask regular board members their thoughts to gauge issues. 4. I talked with Apech today about a new staff structure that would include him. He agreed. So, here is structure for now: Let there be One: Admin (Dawei) Then Two arise: Apech and ZYD Then there is three: Shift Karen as Tech. For transparency reasons, I have tried to give each rotation more power and continue that idea with staff. In this cycle, Apech and ZYD can decide singularly to take action on an issue with a 3 day ban. Then the staff can talk if further time-off is needed. We do this already now, but I'm making the board officially aware, if you didn't know this. I want to move the forum to a balance that staff can act faster and yet can talk when needed. Please do not report small stuff. If your emotions are tweeted by a comment, that is not reason to report something. If you objectively see something that you think the staff should review for action, then let us know. Here's the disclaimer: almost 99% of what is reported has no action taken. Bums... post away... respect the other person in the discussion... engage in disagreements, as you feel comfortable... don't take it personally... Admin out

I think Jesus suggest that too... or you are paraphrasing Jesus?

Elsewhere you shared a liver cleanse.... and I have read of several but that one seems to make the most sense... now you want to eliminate Epsom salts? Why? Each part has a function.. Epsom salts function is to help flush stuff out of the intestines. It is very effective. Can you say why it is better without Epsom salts?

Kar3n says what I have come to understand over years... our variation in our understanding and exchange with energy (Qi), in context. Elsewhere on the forum, it was rightly said: practice of doing [not natural] gets you to non-doing [natural]. But for some... from birth... there was no need of practice of doing... it was always natural... I call them The Gifted... don't confuse that with the X-Men TV show spin-off ! LOL Back to topic... seems to be: 'other ways to protect the qi, and therefore stop it getting so sensitive to external stimuli?' Question: Do you think that is karma, past life, or destiny? The reason I ask is... you ask about a concern like you feel an impasse or a cross-roads. Ask yourself the question of these three ideas Spoiler alert... how to protect the Qi ? start with a smile smile doesn't mean happy, btw.. it means ONE with the issue.

Yes... I have historically used that idea for wu wei... to mean: 1. Don't get in the way to interfere... then 2. Get out of the way of interfering But the subject<>object aspect then made me realize the separation. When there is both/and (a nod to Rene)... just let it flow and go its Ways... is wu wei. funny that wei sounds like 'way'

There is a member here who has a few publications. I can't vouchsafe any of the publishers but will simply give some he used: Center Ring Publishing Healing Arts Touchstone Simon & Schuster Ltd Best of luck to get a publisher

Thank you for that. I've said this in a different manner before but you kind of explain the point. My comments have been to quote Baopuzi who said, practice is not natural... ergo, practicing (trying) is doing (not non-doing). That cast me on a path to find non-doing... which I would equate more closely with non-duality (just to bring my point to the OP).
