I wanted to comment but don't know if the topic is to stick to a discussion of the two levels... I might be trying to say that while some might feel it is incremental, it seems more two sides of a coin. I also think of the argument the south Zen school: While there are two schools there is one Dharma. Some come to it slow and some fast. But when you come to it, that moment is instantaneous. I'm no Zen nor Dharma follower, I just recall the story... so please don't beat up the messenger of reading too many books :

This seems a Form = Void chapter. Without looking at the original, I can't find a translation among 50 reviewed, that completely captures it. Flowing Hands three lines is the essences: Oh unfathomable Dao, ever elusive and intangible. But yet within, there is substance and form. It is the essence of the Ten Thousand Things.

I see the parallel in: Heart Sutra: Form = Void Applied in the GoT... and even using my previous post thought: Motion = HS (akin to energy or light) Rest = Father/Son (primordial rest provided by the father and clarity provided by the son to see past the idea that they are two different things; they are the same.)

sorry to go backwards but I felt something similar or connective between these and wanted to see if someone sees something as well. Not exactly sure what it is, but something like this: 43 compares a Tree vs Fruit in a love vs hate scenario 44 compares The Father/Son vs HS in forgiven vs not forgiven scenario [based on blasphemy] In order to keep the parallel, it seems The Father and Son need to be viewed as together and this gives me a different perspective than historical theology of a trinity. It seems better to view The Father/Son against the HS as that seems to be more like the Tree vs Fruit. I just realized the 43 is the disciples talking and 44 is Jesus...

Kar3n shared our rule of thumb to help avoid misunderstandings; To add color like a header. Staff wears even more than two hats, so when they give advice as a member, you can read some tea leaves to know it sometimes might carry an understanding of how staff might act if things don't improve. Let's call it a 'heads-up', 'early warning', 'wake-up call', or just 'friendly advise'. I appreciate you took that last post out and dealt with it in PM. But I understand asking here. Thanks.

IMO... it is easy to have hit edit instead of quote... and then hit save instead of cancel... despite folks who will laugh at it, Staff have done it too. I've deleted accounts by mistake, etc. I think after so many years, it is likely good to focus on what permissions are allowed within a PPD and that is my focus.

~~~ ADMIN COMMENTS ON PPD PERMISSIONS ~~~ This is a tale of two cities. 1. This permission has always exited from time TDB immortal... at least since when PPDs were setup as a kind of blog space where a member can just about completely control content within their PPD. So if a member utilized editing another's post, they were using permissions that were setup. 2. Should the 'edit another post' be allowed ? I'm going to say, NO to #2. I think the permission as given because there is confusion on PPD permissions, even within the staff over the years. There are some settings that are required to be set to allow the owner to even do something to their own posts and I think 'edit' got caught up in that understanding. My feeling is the normal group permissions will allow someone to edit their own posts to cover what we need to provide. The staff will work to remove editing another's post. I will say, as I was asked to state something about whether it happened or not: I can say there are logs that show an edit happened, just as the screen shot shows. To know if there was an actual change would require comparing the current posts to backup logs that I am not going to ask the sys admin to attempt to find for comparison. The permission was allowed, so it seems a moot point on some level. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Where in the world could you show any demonstration by me of hate toward something called "us" ? Have you seen staff discussion over the last 5 years to base that on? Or you base that on banned folks? Have you talked with those in your so-called group who are not banned... and they believe I hate them too ? Your thinking would not be effective as a team member of a work group, nor as a coach, nor as a teacher, nor as a manager nor as a website admin. There cannot be any hate towards any particular group to be effective. I actually feel bad that your cultivation has lead to that idea. You have said elsewhere, you don't want folks coming to your website (I guess this is the 'us' again) to troll... yet I've allowed you to troll here... and you want to say I have hate against some group? You should seriously look at what your doing and saying and evaluate why you are here once you start accusing the admin of hating 'us'. Let's stick to the issue... but how is that for honesty

I agree with the idea that One seems to be an example of the motion that can be produced by the idea of Dao. And this is simply perceived according to the Way things behave to our sense of our senses.

I still have a hard time with 'one that emerged from the Dao'... Dao is not a 'thing', so there is no emerging from it... but I get the the wont to use a picture to show a point. Tao didn't give birth to One. Tao is a verb THE GREAT ONE is not Dao

Ok... thanks for pointing out where you slipped that in. And I agree. But hate groups can speak if the courts allow it. My voice doesn't matter much in that decision.
